I still think this is a very significant clue. I'm posting (again) the update of the portrait....The artist says there will be a "twist" when the final picture is revealed.......
If you haven't already added a dot, please do and let your friends know please...Who knows....maybe MJ is waiting until we "Join all the Dots" ;) ;)

About the Pose:
The drawing represents multiple moments in Michael's life, from his younger years to more recent times. There will be more than one image of Michael in this drawing. Since fans have different opinions on what Michael should look like in the drawing, I came up with a concept that will make everyone happy. How will the different images of Michael work together in the drawing? It's a secret that is being revealed daily, dot by dot... The drawing will take a few twists and turns along the way so check back often.

I suspect that this MJ picture will be an optical illusion, where the dark dots represent the young Michael and if you fixate at it for awhile you will perceive another image of MJ in the negative space (white space)---I would guess a more recent image of Michael. In any regard, I am certain it will be interesting to view once completed.

In the portrait we can conect eachother, maybe they talk about this when they say connect the dots???

Ok over a year later and now I have one :) I'm number 261,836 and have no idea where that is lol but I don't care either at least I have one now and thats all that matters :)

I don't know if this has been brought up before, but after reading the article that was posted I had a "ding. ding. ding" in my head.
TS has said "Connect the Dots". We were focusing on connecting the dots within the posts and the articles we have found. Maybe it meant connect the dots with this portrait! Until today, i thought the portrait was only going to be of Michael when he was younger. I didn't know that it was going to include other pictures of him. As the article read "Dot by Dot, it will be revealed".
I think this is a clue for us. This person is working closely with the family, so maybe the family is putting clues out there to see if anyone will pick up on it.

Bringing this cause/thread back to people's attention.
They still need a million,everyone from Jermaine,Omer,Diana Ross have got dots.
It isn't about what side of the hoax people are on,this is just an amazing piece of history to be part of for Michael and I think it's worth signing up to :)

I agree - I got my dot before I was even a believer. I have a whole different belief for the one million dot portrait now but it still has the same basic goal of reaching one million dots. I can't wait to see the end result. Blessings!

I posted my dot many many months ago when it first came out. I also have added my 5 grandchildrens dots to the portrait. I believe we are all above his upper lip. sigh..... i just want it all to end soon. MJ please come hom. We miss you and love you most.

How do I know which dot is mine?
When you sign up for your dot, you will be given your own dot number, which will be shown on your profile page next to your username, just above your profile photo, toward the upper left side of the page. To check your profile page when you're logged in, click on "Profile," which appears to logged in members, just beneath the last colored menu bar. Your dot number matches to your dot on the canvas. We have a system for keeping track of which dots are placed at what day/time and exactly where. You can check the progress of the portrait and see where your dot is located by checking the Portrait Update page.
When the portrait is complete, you will be able to type in your dot number and then zoom into your dot. We are developing software to do this. Check the website for an announcement about when the "dot finder" will be unveiled.
