EMT Testifies MJ Already Dead ... Murray Mum on Propofol

An EMT who arrived at Michael Jackson's house 4 minutes after the 911 call says Michael was dead when he arrived, and it looked like he had been dead for a long time before Dr. Conrad Murray called 911.

Richard Senneff testified when he arrived at MJ's house and saw MJ, he looked like a hospice patient -- extremely frail.

Senneff says he believes Murray must have waited at least 20 minutes before calling 911, based on the condition of the body.  MJ's EKG was flatlined.

And Senneff said, when he asked Murray if MJ had been taking meds, all Murray volunteered was lorazepam (Ativan).  Murray never uttered a peep about Propofol.

Murray told Senneff Jackson had been "dehydrated.

This type of statement makes me very sad.
Then somebody saw  an ECG and proved that Michael was really dead.
I think these people would not lie in court.

I am going to try to summarize

Traditional medicine tries to heal the patient and prolong life, but the Hospice aims to treat the symptoms of the disease and help the terminal patient die more comfortably. The main objective of the treatment of the Hospice is maximum pain patient, and help you in the process of death to make it more comfortable. "Comfort" implies more than relieve pain; the patient also needs emotional and spiritual comfort. The Hospice team is that comfort in many ways.
Physical comfort
Minimize physical pain experienced by patients terminals is the main objective of the Hospice team. Acute pain is a relatively short duration. Chronic pain experienced by patients who have arthritis, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, cancer and other diseases, is continuous and indefinitely. Terminal patients usually require frequent treatments for chronic pain.
Both drugs (usually morphine) as other analgesic drugs (aspirin, the acetaminophen), are used to control pain. When used properly, analgesics provide a great deal of patient terminal that much-needed relief.
Unfortunately, many health providers do not know how to handle pain. Often patients do not receive sufficient soothing "because"still us them to your next dose. The patient is then forced to bear the pain until touch you the next dose, and at that time will take more time to make the drug effect, due to the severity of the pain. Other symptoms can arise as a result suffer unnecessary pain such as an increase in anxiety, which can lead to experience nausea and lack of appetite. 1. We must deal with these secondary symptoms also.
Sometimes drugs are administered only when the patient are requested. The patient might suffer unnecessarily long if you aren't willing to talk, or if you believe that you call only soothing if pain is extremely large.
The key to appropriate pain management is to assess and bring the pain that feels the patient record. The worker Hospice and patient work together to maintain that record, which should include information on the intensity and duration of pain, drugs used to relieve it, side effects, and the duration of the effects of such drugs. Keep this record helps the doctor or nurse to assess the effects of medicines and change or change the dose when necessary, thus providing relief the patient.
There are other methods to alleviate pain, that require no drugs and they are sometimes used in combination with these. Massage benefit by increasing circulation, restoring the normal balance of the body, and reducing pain patients. One study showed that men who had cancer and received a ten minute massage, experienced a relief in his the massage dolor.2 also provides a soothing effect which can help the patient relax physics and mentalmente.El provide heat or cold to tissues superficially, may help reduce muscle spasms, pain, or cure local infections.
Proper placement of inactive patients and move them can help relieve pain. Patients often cannot change his stance as healthy people do without even thinking. They have to rely on other caregivers or health professionals. Place a patient in a proper position can provide relief and reduce the complications associated with long periods of time in bed, such as sores. Static postures and contractures may cause pain; AROM and PROM can reduce pain and benefit the muscles, joints, nerves and connective tissue surfaces.
Pain is not the only physical symptom to be addressed. Anorexia is a symptom that accompanies many serious diseases and also cause several treatments. Sometimes increase appetite with nutritional supplements and using tubes for power. Patients not be them should press to eat more than what can tolerate. The desidratación can affect palliative, reducing anxiety and pain. Weakness can be treated in various ways such as physical therapy or changes in medications and the amount of liquids. Breathlessness is a common symptom. Due to oxygen and pleural effusion, rarely are effective treatments for breathlessness in terminal illness, administered morphine to reduce anxiety and problems respiratorios.3 the dry mouth can be treated with special care and hanging liquids. A catheter can be grafted incontinent patient.
Patients often suffer from sensory dysfunctions and engines, and it must make adjustments to these. For example, if a patient has poor vision, give good lighting and its espejuelos must be kept clean. If you hurt the joints, must move you with smoothness and as little as possible. If it tends to react and respond very slowly, you must assign more time to visit. Compensate for these deficits helps the patient is most comfortable in their environment and in what refers to other persons
Spiritual comfort
It is important that the Hospice fill the spiritual needs of the patient. Zerwekh outlines four areas of spiritual care: take into account the spiritual issues, discuss them, promote the reconciliacián and share what you have experienced, to be near death. 4
Take into account the spiritual Affairs implies not only obvious religious beliefs, but the other matters as the meaning, purpose, forgiveness and transcendence. Matters that have not been solved can lead to agitation and increase the suffering of the patient. A worker Hospice appropriately trained, can help a patient to deal with these spiritual matters.
Dialogue on these issues means to facilitate sharing between worker Hospice and patient. Patients often make the question: "What Por qué me is happening this to me?", and about the meaning of life. The Hospice worker can also facilitate sharing spiritually between the patient and his family.
Promote reconciliation is to solve problems of relations. Encourages the patient to examine your life, to try to integrate these experiences and you find meaning in your life, and forgiveness.
Describing near-death experiences, often patients describe a very nice place, or feel the presence of Qabalistic beings. These experiences allegedly give you greater comfort to the patient who is dying. Share with loved ones the patient often gives comfort to these.
Emotional support
Counseling is a way to provide emotional; comfort Hospice care wouldn't be complete without it. The patient needs help to deal with his death and separation that will bring this. The Advisor attempts to create an environment in which the patient will feel comfortable enough to discuss their concerns. The Advisor must be a good listener, able to help the patient voice to their concerns. Not you must "bombard" patient with questions, and the Counsellor should not give lessons in morality or sermons to the patient, because this contradeciría the concept of emotional support.
The hospice work does not end with the death of the patient. Your family receives aid during the seriousness of this and after his death. The Hospice team can help the family in their daily duties that have become a burden. For example, buy food, cooking and cleaning. During the process of the death of the patient counseling involves facilitating communication between the patient and his family. Adviser also helps the family cope with grief that accompanies the death of a loved one. The penalty, either before or after the death of the patient can lead to divorce, separation, alcohol or drug abuse, and loss of health. 5. Hospice tries to help the family to avoid these unfortunate side effects of death. Families are visited regularly, and an assessment is made during its need. Such as discord in the family or the inability to express feelings, risk factors are researched and evaluated during the initial visit and are treated for other visits. Not left forgotten families, but it will make them visits sometimes until several years after the patient died.
Conclusion
The Hospice is the patient as a person in its entirety, you need comfort and support in many areas of your life. The dying patient need love and need to know that someone will be always on your side. A properly trained, Hospice team can fill the needs of the patient and his family, making the transition from the step into the unknown much more bearable for all involved.

I knew it was coming...

The prosecution (I think it's Britney Spears attorney - a bulldog) are now saying Michael was so pale and wasting because that's how drug addicts look.  Thank you Janet and the gang for feeding that little bit of fuel to the fire  Just what the prosecution ordered.

Thanks Paula-c for the info on hospice care. Very sad what many go through, but good that such care can be available. Watching MJ in his 02 speech and TII performance--that was no hospice shell of a man. Rather healthy strong sexy male!

When I read some of the statements about Murray, it's fun to imagine them as Michael (remembering Murray on Youtube speaking MJ's words):

People vs. Dr. Conrad Murray
Murray Wouldn't Accept That Michael Was Dead
 Dr. Murray wouldn't "call it."
Dr. Murray claimed to feel a pulse
refused to pronounce MJ dead
Murray ordered the EMTs to take MJ to the hospital.
Murray was "spinning ... moving around, nervous, sweating, multitasking."

Michael is saying he's been busy and he's got a pulse and is totally alive, and most people seem to be against him being alive!

Michael Jackson's doctor ordered a security guard to remove an IV bag apparently containing the anesthetic propofol from the stricken pop star's bedside and then told arriving paramedics he had administered only a mild anti-anxiety drug, witnesses testified Wednesday.

"It just didn't add up," Richard Senneff, an L.A. Fire Department paramedic, said repeatedly.
From Alvarez, Judge Michael Pastor got the closest look yet at Murray's behavior after Jackson went into respiratory arrest in a bedroom of his rented Holmby Hills mansion. When Alvarez arrived in the pop star's bedroom, he said, Murray was doing chest compressions on Jackson in the bed with one hand. He said that when he asked what had happened, the doctor said that Jackson "had a bad reaction."

"We need to get him to a hospital. We need to get an ambulance," Alvarez quoted Murray as telling him.

Murray, a cardiologist, then grabbed a handful of medical vials from Jackson's nightstand and told Alvarez to place them in a bag, the guard testified. He said Murray repeated the instruction for the IV bag containing the white substance, but not for a nearby IV bag of saline.

When paramedics were summoned to the home, Senneff said he did not recognize Jackson, but rather saw a pale, underweight man with an IV stand and a physician at his side.

"I was thinking along the lines of this is a hospice patient," he said.

Murray initially insisted that Jackson wasn't taking any medication, but when Senneff persisted, the doctor said he had given him lorazepam to sleep, the paramedic said.

Senneff testified that when he asked Murray how long Jackson had been "down," the doctor said, "It just happened."

Yet based on Jackson's dilated pupils, dry eyes and his skin, which was cold to the touch, Senneff said he believed Jackson may have been dead for more than 20 minutes, the paramedic said.

"All I can tell you is my gut feeling at the time was this did not just happen, it's been a period of time," said Senneff, a 25-year veteran.

Alvarez said that before paramedics arrived, he did chest compressions while Murray gave the singer mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

"After the second time he gave a breath, he came up and said you know this is the first time I give mouth to mouth, but I have to do it, he's my friend," he said.

In the spectator's gallery, Janet Jackson, the singer's sister, shook her head. Jackson family members and friends filled an entire row in the courtroom for the dramatic testimony. His mother, Katherine, dabbed away tears as Alvarez recalled Jackson's daughter, Paris, rushing into the bedroom where her father lay stricken and screaming, "Daddy!"

Alvarez, his voice choking with emotion, recalled Murray shouting, "Get them out! Get them out! Don't let them see their father like this."

Sorry but every time I read this headline I read it as Murray's Mum on Propofol--or like Murray's mother on propofol...and then with the 'I love Katherine like my own mother' and other emphasis' on MJ's mom, well my mind just works strangely I guess. lol

So where is Murray's mother is she still living or has she passed away?  Sorry if this is off topic.
