This is awesome!!!!! He cancelled the Vienna tribute and now the London tribute!!! Smells like hoax!!!
Vienna - The Michael Jackson tribute concert in London that was scheduled for next June has been cancelled, as the show's Austrian organizer announced Friday that is being liquidated. Promoter Georg Kindel and his now-defunct company World Awards Media and Jackson's brother Jermaine had already disappointed European fans in summer by first announcing a Vienna tribute concert for September and then cancelling it because of a lack of stars and funds.
World Awards Media's majority owner, Vienna-based consumer fund Superfund, issued a press release on behalf of Kindel's company, saying that it would be dissolved.
After the failed Vienna show, Jermaine Jackson said London would be the ideal concert location because that was where Michael Jackson had planned to stage his comeback concerts.
Jackson died from medication overdose in June, shortly before the scheduled London performances.

He has cancelled 2 tribute shows, tribute shows was arranged to honor Michaels memory. If he cancels them it proves to me that there is nothing to celebrate in memory of Michael, he is still alive and Jermaine dosnt want to go through with a tribute show to convince people he is dead, having 1958-2009 on a screen and sing all his songs and talk about how sad it was when he lost his brother. To me this is significant. He cancelled two times now!!!!
I would be more distressed and think he was really dead if Jermaine went on to do these tribute shows in his brothers honor. He has cancelled twice and there is a big reason for it. Michael is alive, this is in my opinion the only reason why he is never getting on with it.

OK question, do you all think MJ probably has something to do with Jermaine cancelling the tribute shows? Probably right? What you are saying is that Jermaine does not want to go through with all of this maybe too tiresome? Having to fake tears, explain feelings blah blah blah because they went through enough (the Jackson Family ) of doing this in the months following MJ's death? Just your thoughts please. Can we research this a bit more and find out exactly why? Because when they say lack of stars I am like what heck they could have got Beyonce, Mary J I mean which stars declined?

By the way I hope everyone understands why Im so happy about the tribute show being cancelled. We are all here because we believe Michael is alive so I think tribute show would be inappropriate anyways because I think we've all come to the conclusion that he is not dead so if Jermaine would go on proceeding with these shows I think I at least would lose a great deal of hope of Michael being alive. The fact that he cancelled them twice is very very fishy and I hope at least someone sees this in the same light as I do.
This can indicate in several things as someone else mentioned on this forum in another thread:
- Michael is planning to come back before the tribute show planned to start so there would be no need for a tribute show.
- Michael planned to comeback during the tribute show but changed his mind.
- Michel does not want Jermaine to do him a tribute show because it would be inappropriate for one reason or another.

This singer,Trijntje Oosterhuis(is that here name?) told how hartbroken she was..The world lost his best entertainer..and what a nice person MJ was..They showed clips from MJ with James Brown.
He made such beautiful songs..they wont get lost,people need to hear them again..So she made a CD with songs from MJ :)
She performed with the song MJ made for Sammy Davis J

Congratulations on the topic, I was still in my corner, but something told me that as well as other events were canceled, it would also show tribute.
The show that her sister Latoya would do here in Brazil in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro together with E'casanova in November was also canceled.
Who bought their tickets, are getting their money back.
I had talked with several people, see how everything is organized by the family, but precisely because Jarmanie and Latoya goes wrong.
We combine friends who collects a lot of money on a show, and it came to have the name Michael is right there that raises millions.
For me there are two alternatives, or someone called the attention of his brother because they are being too blatant, the impression he gives is that they want to win all the money possible and impossible for his brother, so they are canceling all.
Or Michael prepares your return faster than expected.
I'd rather be the second option!

Slow or no ticket sales should indeed be his "writing on the wall".
That's why I keep saying that the Jack5ons have Mj in their back pocket as a big surprise or else these guys, especially Jermaine, are suffering from delusions of grandeur. :lol:

maybe they kepp cancelling because mj is saying he needs more time 2 relax ot 2 do whatever he is doing...so they have 2 keep pushing back or maybe they keep thinking the time will be right but really it is not quite enough 2 give off the shock they want 2 give off. IMO he will come back when its is least expected!! jus my opinion we may b quessing 2 much into it...we might jus have 2 let it simmer....and then BAM lols :lol: :mrgreen:

Yes I saw it, but not the whole part. What I saw, was very positive.
Though I don't know what to think about her covercd. I have mixed feelings about it. I mean, she has a beautiful voice, but I don't like covers that much. Maybe I'm going to get it, I don't know it yet.

Jermaine didn't willingly cancel the tribute.
Austrian firm, World Awards Media, that was supposed to be organizing the tribute has lost the financial support of its main sponser and the decision was made in November to liquidate the company, according to liquidator Martin Schneider.
I don't see what this proves regarding the hoax.

well.... I just heard that the company collapsed.. so maybe theyre still going ahead with it but whith a different company backing it ?

Another dutch article says that Jermaine is being vague about the tributes' programm, and again that he's really looking forward to it.

On rtl boulevard kwalbert said that they are going to change the price of that programme on SBS6 because the tribute is canceled. But Timor said on hyves, that the winner of that programme is going to perform on the tribute :S So is it canceled or not?? :S

Yes, I agree with some of the posts, we really want to hear MJ not others singing his songs, and the celebrits probably feel the same. You cant top the best. MJ sings his songs the best.
JJ is probably just trying to do the best for his brother, it's not worked out, maybe the wrong venture - let's try to be respectful to MJ's family though.
