Prosecution Rests in Murray Case

The prosecution has ended its case in the Conrad Murray preliminary hearing after 6 days of testimony.

The defense filed a motion to dismiss, which is routine.  It will almost certainly be denied.

Judge Michael Pastor has taken a recess.  It's virtually certain that Dr. Murray will be ordered to stand trial.

The Deputy Attorney General who represents the Medical Board of California is in the courtroom.  We're told he will ask the judge to suspend Murray's license to practice medicine.

Harve seems quite convinced this will go to trial. That's either because he knows there will be a trial (just imagine how confusing that will be) or because he knows there won't, to confuse people that way.

I haven't had the time yet to get up-to-date on the complete prelim, but after what I have read I would say too much doubt for trial. Everyone has a different story, but that would exactly be what will get so confusion for the non-believers and entertaining for us.

Does anyone know when the judge will decide?

TMZ are live streaming right now from the court and they said "Dr. Conrad Murray should learn his fate shortly on whether he will have to stand trial"

I am 99% convinced after what I've seen these days that this case will go to trial.

I still need to catch-up with today hearing but it seems that the proceedings were quicker than expected. I read somewhere that there may plea bargaining by the defence to avoid the trials but I guess this is only one out of 3 options and an unlikely one in here.

From what I can see the inaccuracies in the statements also involved Murray's own statements, those appear to be half truths at best! I guess this is most likely heading for a trial! The movie would not be complete without it! 2005 went to trial!

Guys, were we naive all along thinking that BAM would happen sooner, well, for example on November 2009, in January 2010 or on June 25, 2010??
It looks like a precisely designed and well structured plot all the way from the beginning and meant to last for at least two years, if not four...   :?
I mean, this had to be planned to develop like this since March 2009 - so that means that our informers in fact didn't know ANYTHING when they were saying that BAM was likely to happen on this date or that, I'm afraid...
