Post by: mumof3 on December 19, 2009, 05:02:24 PM
When you read about all the sick children that Michael helped at Neverlands why didnt the parents come forward and help Michael was there a reason were they stoped in some way I know a few came forward  but comeon he helped hundreds of children and all the charities why was he left like that I know it is not part of the hoax but the question is were people stoped from helping were they made to scared.

He helped the world......and everyone opted to focus on MJs troubles instead of his triumphs like helping countless children in need.  Terribly, terribly sad.  I can't even imagine walking in his shoes.

Come forward in what way? How are you so sure that lots of parents didn't speak up and say that Michael never abused their children or any other children in their presence?

Many parents and other people spoke with law enforcement during both molestation investigations and we just never heard about it, partly because the District Attorney, Thomas Sneddon, was very determined to bring Michael down and wanted only negative information about Michael publicized. I've also seen various reports from people stating that Michael never did anything wrong to children while they were around.

As for the court case, only a certain number of people are allowed to testify during a trial because of time, expense, and relevancy considerations. So, I'm not surprised there weren't dozens of people at the second trial saying the same thing repeatedly.

Plus, the testimony of the celebrities who spoke up on the witness stand carried more weight because of their status and knowledge of the accusers' past behavior, and that contributed a lot to the Not Guilty verdicts.

To some degree it is like when people gather around to be on the receiving end of most anything. Sadly, when  some  are asked to give back then they often drop out of sight. MJ gave unconditionally so other people's hands were constantly extended.
