Michael Jackson was so worried he couldn't perform his London concerts in 2009 ... he worried out loud he would end up working behind the counter at McDonald's.

Karen Faye -- Michael's hairstylist for a quarter century -- was interviewed by LAPD detectives days after MJ died ... and TMZ has learned what she said to police.
Faye told cops, "He was scared to death because AEG was funding everything. He said he would have to work at McDonalds if he didn't do these shows."
Faye also told investigators she believed Michael was "self-sabotaging" with drugs because he couldn't do all 50 shows. Faye said she believed Michael needed psychological help because he was losing so much weight -- adding, "I thought he was under the influence of something."
Faye says Michael's assistant told her MJ was seeing Dr. Arnold Klein 3 to 4 times a week and was exhibiting signs of drug use. Days before Michael died, when MJ seemed to be more lucid, she asked Michael's manager if he knew why Michael had taken a turn for the better. His response, according to Faye -- "'Cause Klein is out of town."

I think this is heading towards a federal investigation into Dr Kleins involvement.

I don't believe this mess and I'm starting to not believe the stuff about Jermaine and his passport woes either. I think it's a bunch of made up tabloid garbage and I dont think it's making TMZ any big money either. Not sure what their motivation is to post such nonsense.

I know the article is ridiculous, but if this is true, it's just another reason to believe Michael would want to escape the situation. :D Everybody could've guessed from the start Michael was scared of doing those 50 shows, "scared" being an understatement. I think he must've known he wouldn't survive them, that's been suggested and I believe it.

I think it's time people stop clicking on this website... the view are what make a website valuable, and by publishing this they get A LOT of view. Honestly, i just read what's copied and pasted here but never click on their link.
We should get only few people to keep an eye on TMZ, and just stop giving them such audience. Because that could be the only thing they want, feeding us with those cryptic articles....
I wouldn't be surprise that this would stop if there were no more believers to click on it :roll:

I think TMZ is not BS, but it's Karen Faye.
Michael might even have said it in jest, because they all say that he was a jokester!
In relation to what she said to Dr. Klein, it makes sense ... so why the police ruled out as suspect?

I believe Klein did indeed get a government appointment to review/recommend medical treatments. The announcement was very complimentary at the time.
I think I also read he has recently filed for bankruptcy. Not so complimentary.

I have never clicked on that website anyway. I just read their stuff here on the forum. I don't really think they are making any money worth mentioning off of us BeLIEvers, not enough for them to keep worrying themselves with making up garbage day after day. I think it's a desperate attempt at trying to get an audience though for their TV show or whatever. I think their bigger audience is probably the general public of people who couldn't care less about Michael or any other stars.

I totally agree with not giving TMZ more publicity. I rarely click on them - so, thank you, Forst, for posting this :)
What I thought of was the connection with McDonalds and the billboard sign "If coffee is Joe then consider this Joseph".
It also seems like Dr Klein comes back into the picture every few months so this might be his entrance back into the hoax.
I also can see MJ making the comment in jest but not really meaning it. He'd have so many other opportunities. "If" that was said at all I highly doubt he was really serious about it.

A CASH-strapped Michael Jackson said he feared he would end up working at McDonald's if he was unable to perform his London concerts in 2009, TMZ reported.
Jackson told Karen Faye, his hairdresser for more than 25 years, that he was worried he would not be well enough to perform the marathon series of shows he needed to stage to pay off his debts.
TMZ obtained details of an interview Faye had with the Los Angeles Police Department in the days after Jackson's death in June 2009.
She told police hat Jackson was worried about the concerts, which were being funded by sports and entertainment company AEG.
"He was scared to death because AEG was funding everything. He said he would have to work at McDonald's if he didn't do these shows," Ms Faye said.
She also told investigators that Jackson was "self-sabotaging" by taking drugs to deal with the stress of the 50 upcoming shows.

We take the article with a pinch of salt and laugh at it because we believe MJ is alive, but for non hoaxers should be terrible to read this kind of articles. Is not respectful at all for Michael´s memory.

so what IS this all about then. If Karen is not in on the hoax what would be her reason for saying this. She would have to know that it would make it's way into public domain at some point and she, being with Michael for so long, would be very well trained to pick her words carefully. I doubt that Michael would be all that happy to have her repeat that if he did say it as a joke and if he didn't she could have gotten her point across to the investigators in a more serious manner. I think they would have been able to understand what she meant without the little joke.
If she is on the hoax, then again, why say it. What meaning could it possibly have. Not getting it.
And yes, since TMZ is trash on a whole (exploiting as many sad situations as they do) I think we shouldn't click on there. Whoever stated that "if he is gone, would it be in good taste to put a pic" of this loved icon, son, father, uncle, etc., in a stupid little costume like this? Imagine if you lost someone dear to you in a tragedy and saw someone go this far to poke fun at them..... Seriously what kind of terrible monsters have congregated at TMZ. As far as "Arnie" goes I think he has lied his a$$ off from day one. He was giving Micheal some kind of drugs IMO.

This timeline (I don't know if it's correct) says, he visited Klein on June 22. (As we all know, many people say his performance at the rehearsels was really great on June 23 and June 24, so again that doesn't fit to what Karen says.)

They promised me they had hired the best doctor in the world for him...AND THEN HE WAS DEAD!!!!!

Also crossed my mind th rehab plan and part of it would be to discconect from being MJ/ being dead for a total recovery.
