More important IMO is the mentioned participation of Triumph International Inc in this.
The company appears to belong to Al Malnik.
And that's what other guys are writing about TII (did I write TII?):

Quote
I just discovered that apparently both Al Malnik and Rabby Schmuley have connections with the Miami Jewish Mafia, connections that revolve around a guy called Meyer Lansky. And in that tapes the Sun released, Mike (presuming it's him talking) says he's scard of the Mafia (the Italian one, but there's a connection). And all these three things (friendship with Malnik and Schmuley, tapes) take place between 2000 and 2003.

This thread hasn't been posted in for many months, but I came across Malnik's name as I was reading. So I decided to do a quick search to see what I can come up with. And let's just say, I don't have a good feeling about this man.

Al Malnik is doing some serious spinning in the world press right now in regard to Michael Jackson. He’s been quoted in several publications about regarding his “friendship” with Jackson, saying that he’s godfather to the pop king’s youngest son, Blanket, and that, last Malnik knew, he was executor of his estate. Yesterday, Malnik’s wife, Nancy, executed a photo dump on her Facebook page as a tribute to the late star. The photos show Malnik and his family with Jackson in 2003. Here’s how the Daily Mail characterized Malnik’s relationship with Jackson in its story regarding the new photographs: In pictures taken from the same party, Jackson and his children are allegedly pictured with the children of close friends Al and Nancy Malnik. The 76-year-old American millionaire has triplets Jarod, Spencer and Nathan, who are now 11. Mr Malnik had been friends with the singer for more than ten years and the singer stayed with him at the height of the child abuse scandals. Jackson is godfather to Spencer, who is understood to be featured in the pictures sitting on the steps of Mr Malnik’s Miami mansion with Paris. This is laughable. The two men were indeed friends at one time, but there’s a reason the photographs date all the way back to 2003. The two men had a falling out after Jackson began to believe that Malnik, who has known Mafia ties and was once a close associate of Meyer Lansky, was trying to wrangle Jackson’s rights to half the Beatles catalog of songs from him, rights that are worth an estimated half billion dollars. The source of this information is Gordon Novel, a character of intrigue himself from the Kennedy assassination, Watergate, and Waco. Novel worked in the Lyndon Johnson administration and spent years working as an investigator for former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark. Vanity Fair’s Maureen Orth first reported that Novel had met with Jackson in 2005 in an attempt to get the investigator to find proof that Malnik was part of a conspiracy involving Sony’s Tommy Mottola and film director Brett Ratner, a Malnik protoge, to take over his assets. “According to Novel, Jackson said he was lured to Malnik’s house in Miami Beach by film director Brett Ratner to see a house so beautiful it would make him catatonic,” Orth wrote. “He said that once he was there, however, Malnik, who Jackson claimed had Mafia ties, wanted to put his fingers in the singer’s business. Jackson also said he received a call from Tommy Mottola while he was there, which aroused his suspicion…” I contacted Novel over the weekend, and he confirmed meeting with Jackson at Neverland Valley during the time of the 2005 trial. He told me that he was originally contacted by Jackson’s brother Jermaine and that Michael and the family wanted Novel to gather proof of the Malnik/Mottola conspiracy and further find evidence that Mottola was behind the criminal child molestation charges. The ultimate goal was to blow the trial out of the water so Jackson wouldn’t have to face prison time. Novel said he flew in March 2005, about a month into Jackson’s trial, from his home in New Orleans to the Los Angeles home owned by Jackson’s parents, where he stayed several days before Jackson finally had him over to Neverland Valley. He said the two of them met in a bungalow on the property before Jackson drove him around the ranch in an old pickup truck. “The whole thing centered on Tommy Mottola setting him up,” Novel told me. “Mottola and him were at odds, and Jackson’s information was that Mottola and Malnik got together to **** him. He said he believed Malnik was representing the Mob.” He said Jackson had special loathing for Malnik because he felt betrayed by him. When I told him that Malnik was saying that Jackson had made him executor of his estate, he was dubious. “He had split up with Malnik,” said Novel. “He never said anything about Malnik being executor of his will. And based on how pissed off Jackson was at him at the time, I wouldn’t believe it on a bet.” When asked what Jackson was like at the meeting, Novel didn’t hesitate: “He was afraid, very very afraid. He didn’t want to go to jail and didn’t think he would be treated very well there.” Was he fearful that he would be killed in prison? “Yeah, you can say that,” Novel said. But he also said that Jackson’s mental state was “excellent” and that the pop star was lucid and extremely intelligent. He didn’t believe Jackson was on any drugs during the meeting. I asked Novel if he believed Jackson’s theory about the conspiracy against him. He said that he thought Jackson was not guilty of the criminal charges and that he was probably set up, but he had no idea if Mottola was involved. “He thought that Mottola was Mob-connected and that Malnik was representing the Mob, but I can’t vouch for any of that ****,” Novel said. “I don’t have anything against Tommy Mottola and don’t know if what he thought was true or not. I don’t want to get on Mottola’s bad side. My sources in New York say he’s a dangerous guy.” Novel never conducted an investigation and said that, in the end, Jackson “deadbeated” him. He said that when he got to the airport to fly home, there was no ticket as promised by Jackson. He said that he contacted Jermaine and that the family paid for his flight. He said Jackson still owes him $25,000 for his consultation at Neverland. (Orth reported in Vanity Fair that Jackson apparently took a lot of Novel’s advice, but at that time, Novel claimed Jackson owed him just $5,000.) “He was a tremendously talented deadbeat,” Novel said. “Michael Jackson would deadbeat King Kong.” It’s clear that whether Malnik had any ulterior motives in befriending Jackson, the pop star ended up believing he was an enemy out to get his Beatles songs. We’ll have to wait and see if the world media continues to eat out of Malnik’s hand or if it actually reports the truth about the relationship and its bitter end.

The Malnik Family’s Michael Jackson Photo Dump « MJ

Then when you look at Malnik's own website, you see this written about Michael.

No other performer in history has won more awards than Michael Jackson. His artistry and talent are unequaled and his numerous awards prove that. Most people only know Michael Jackson as the legend. Al Malnik and his family knew Michael Jackson as the friend, Michael Jackson as the father, and Michael Jackson as the man behind the legend.

Al and wife, Nancy Malnik, were first introduced to Michael Jackson in 2001 when Michael was seeking financial and legal advice from Al regarding his refinancing of a debt with Sony and a loan from Bank of America. Michael and Al Malnik quickly became fast friends and Jackson would regularly seek refuge in Al's family home in Ocean Ridge, FL. Michael would stay for months at a time with his children Paris, Prince and Prince Michael II (Blanket). ''He was an extraordinarily nice guy and just a wonderful father,'' Al Malnik said of Michael. "He and the kids stayed here for several months with us, and we all just thought the world of him. He just could not have been a nicer, sweeter soul.''

Al and Nancy's triplets played happily with Prince and Paris at the family's Oceanside home, a far cry from the rumored isolation the Jackson children were falsely reported to live in. “The relationship our family had with Michael, and the one that I had with him, was really extraordinary,” said Al Malnik. “We were very close, always talking with each other, and having a lot of fun with our mutual families.” While at the Malnik's home, Michael Jackson and his three children were able to feel free and secure enough to do the things any father and his children would normally do without the pressures of public life. They celebrated birthdays, put on plays, and just simply got to be kids, free from herds of paparazzi or crowds of Michael's fans. "The Jackson’s were ideal houseguests," Al recalls of Michael and his children. "When they came, I asked my staff if they would need to work harder with three more kids in the house. They said there isn’t any extra effort. Michael’s kids clean their own rooms, make up their beds, polish the mirrors and take care of everything. Each and every morning, their first chore after breakfast was to clean their room. When I mentioned it to Michael, he simply replied, 'that’s the way I bring up my kids.'” Al Malnik and his family will forever treasure the times when Michael Jackson and his children would come to visit them at their "home away from home”. “Every day, our backyard was their playground,” says Al of Jackson and his children. “Michael just enjoyed himself so much with our children. It was the kind of imaginary fun people used to dream about going to Neverland and experiencing."

Al and Nancy once arranged for a late-night shopping expedition at a local supermarket, a routine task made impossible for Michael and his children due to his popularity. To make the experience as realistic as possible, the Malnik’s asked some of their friends to act as fellow shoppers, completely ignoring Michael as he happily shopped. During their friendship, Jackson even chartered a private plane to travel to South Florida to surprise Al at his 70th birthday party, where Michael sat with Al at the head table and welcomed Al's guests, including B.B. King, Smokey Robinson, F. Lee Bailey and celebrity lawyer Roy Black.

Michael gave special thanks to Al in the liner notes on his Greatest Hits CD, and the two signed a document in 2003 in which Al swears to raise Blanket (Prince Michael II) as his own. ''I guess in 2003 or 2004, he (Michael) asked me if anything ever happened to him, if I would become godfather and parent to Prince Michael,'' he told reporter Lisa Petrillo. "So I signed a document at that time agreeing to bring up Blanket in the event anything happened to him.'' Michael, in turn, became the godfather of Al and Nancy's daughter, Spencer. The Malnik family will always remember the wonderful times they shared with Michael, Paris, Prince and Blanket at their home. “It was a magical time for all of us. Thank God we have it on video. We’ll never forget him. We’ll love Michael always.”

Michael Jackson - Al Malnik Friends

Make of that what you will, but I personally think yet another piece has been added to the puzzle.

Business connections seem to be complex (as always  ;) ).
Some forums say TII is not owned by Malnik.
The company's name is already a program on its own...

The "Michael Jackson Asia Rights" Story

Days before the first anniversary of MJ's death a Japanese businessman announced a new official MJ project. Claiming that based on a previous agreement with MJ he is the sole owner of MJ's licensing rights in the Asian region.

Of course this is stupid and untrue. As the media reported, MJ had a business relationship with this guy back in the late 90's, but they never got into a real agreement. This is nothing more then a crazy attempt to get some money. And lawsuits I guess.

MJ owned his licensing rights 100% since 1984, when he established "Triumph International Inc.". Those rights were used by agents through the years for major promotions (like the Sony albums) and special projects (like a Japanese clothing line in 2003). At the moment Triumph is the sole owner worldwide, controlled by MJ's Estate. The only official agent is Univeral's Bravado, who is adding strategic partners almost monthly. The only problem is that MJ had a licensing agreement with certain German people both in 2001 and 2003. This agreement provides a company "MJ Licensing LLC" releasing so called official items until June, 2012 in Europe alone. Majority of the incomes goes to the Estate from MJL as well.

How about Asia? MJ established another company in 2001 for the Asian and Pacific markets called "Michael Jackson Asia/Pacific Co.". This entity was owned by several local partners and MJ himself, but got dismissed years ago. The same happened with another local MJ licensing company in Singapor. The licensing rights were sold to a company, "Ecbizz Japan Co." that used the brand until last year. Most likely the Estate negoitated an agreement with the company, and got all the rights back. All of Ecbizz's websites and products has been erased (like the famous clothing line and a mobile phone). The only strategic partner the Estate kept in is Hot Toys, that will release more figures this year inspired by MJ.

The new people interfering with MJ's businesses established a company called "Michael Jackson Asia Rights Co." (http://www.mja-rights.com (http://www.mja-rights.com)) for the local licensing rights, and are ready to create a management entity under "Michael Jackson Asia Co.". As well a foundation in MJ's name to spend some of the incomes on charity.
Along with a local mobile developer company, mThink they are planning to release applications and tools (http://www.mobile-mj.com (http://www.mobile-mj.com)) starting from late July. They are already selling merchandises.

According to their website, they are in discussion with the Estate now. They claim that MJ signed two contracts, one over a press conference in Japan, and one in July, 1988 in a Tokyo hotel. The contract covers his likeness for the next 25 years on the Asian and Japan region.

As an interesting fact, according to the website the original agreement has been signed on June 25th, 1998.
