Michael Jackson‘s children Prince, Paris and Blanket were spotted leaving an acting class yesterday in Hollywood. Afterwards the siblings and their bodyguards stopped to picked up some coffee.
Paris and Blanket seemed to be having a lot of fun with the paparazzi, while Prince was seemingly amused by his brother and sister’s antics. I’m so happy that these kids seem so well adjusted.

Katherine Jackson, their grandmother and Michael Jackson’s mother, deserves a lot of credit for this. CNN recently spoke with Katherine about Michael’s kids. The youngest of Michael’s children, 9-year-old Blanket, has his own way of remembering his father. His long brown hair grows longer, reaching halfway down his back.
“He doesn’t want to cut it, so I’ve talked to him about it,” his grandmother said. “He likes it long because his father wanted him to have long hair at the time, but there will be a day that he’ll have to cut it, I think.”
Blanket studies at home with a tutor, while Prince, 14, and Paris, 13, attend classes at a private school.

I used to wear a watch when I was a kid. Paris and Prince are 13 and 14 years old and can read the clock. and in my opinion it's very common that guys in that age wear a watch, it's fashionable. idk about girls but why wouldn't she wear a watch?

I agree that it's interesting at the very least that Prince and Paris who supposedly have no Internet access appear to have either iPhones or iPodtouch -which also has Internet capabity. Paris def looks like she has the iphone4- I have one and it's shape is more "boxy" than the iPod touch.
I read on another site of a AIM transcript supposedly from Paris during this incident- of course not sure it's trustworthy.
What's funny is that it's possible Paris was on a FaceTime call with her Dad during the whole thing. You see both her and Prince shielding the screen as you would have to do wanting to see the display. From pers experience- the screen is hard to see in sunlight. Heck- for all we know Prince and Paris were on a conference call with MJ. Both the headphones (the mic is on the headphones 4 the iPhone) or the speaker would allow that.
Blanket cracks me up- he doesn't look scared to me at all, but kind of reminds me of how a kid would act "stalking " the "monsters" (papps)... ThrillerStyle... ;)

I wonder why they stayed out of the car that long. It would take minutes to get out of the class and get into the car but it looks like they spent some time on purpose for the paps to take their pictures. And what's with the phone?

Their public outings used to involve odd disguises and scarves wrapped around their heads - but Michael Jackson's children looked like they were loving their more normal lifestyle yesterday.
The trio were seen looking smart in their red short-sleeved school shirts as they left their drama class last night - before Paris started larking about for the cameras.
The 13-year-old started jokingly sticking out her tongue before taking pictures herself with her iPhone.

Paris and elder brother Prince started taking pictures of their own - while wearing matching necklaces
With striking blue eyes, she looked healthy and tanned in her trendy white and red Converse sneakers and was wearing an identical pendant necklace to her brother Prince.
The pendant showed some kind of abstract almost flower-like pattern on it, but it's not clear what, if anything, it signifies.
Meanwhile her elder brother, 14-year-old Prince, had scrawled a message on his arm in pen.
He had written on his left lower arm: 'Live life free and without regrets, Freedom!'
Together with their long-haired brother Blanket, nine, the trio have been attending regular after-school acting classes.
Since their father died in June 2009, the Jackson family have been determined that the children live a more normal life and seem to be making a great success of their plan so far.
In February, the children gave an interview on U.S. television and said they even fancied following their late father into showbusiness.

the'more normal lives' quote reminds me of discussions w had on the thread about Prince being in love yesterday. Sometimes I get the feeling that we have a part in triggering these pics and articles with our reactions and responses. I keep thinking of way back in '09 when Prince held up the library book "Choose Your Own Adventure".

Today I saw this article with this pic of Prince's arm. My 16 yr. old son came into the room and saw me looking sideways at the pic trying to figure out what word was after "Life is a...? I asked him to look and he immediately said the word was short. So I went to both Google and Yahoo and tried typing in "Life is a short". I noticed that the above article misquoted what Prince has on his arm. From the pics above shared by Diana, it looks to me like the bottom pic shows the underlined part to read "die without" like she noted. So perhaps the full writing on his arm said "Live life free and die without regrets. Freedom. Life is a short trip."

I love Alphaville's version of this song! I also love Bob Dylan's and Rod Stewart's Forever Young songs too. I haven't heard Jay-Z's version, but I do think it's cool that he has incorporated part of Alphaville's version into his.

I agree with you. It's a shame that the paparazzi wait outside their class just so they can take pics of them. Just like when the kids were taking karate. They can't do any 'routine' activity outside of school without being photographed on the way out. And it looks like they're even leaving through a back or side entrance. At least the kids seem to make the most of it and have a little fun.

I think you're right. And it couldn't have just been the kids' decision- the body guards are all on chill-mode as well.
