The above is a clip from the Ellen Show, Oct. 2009. I ran across it when I was viewing funny old clips from her series, just laughing and having fun on youtube, killing time. Then I saw this episode which I never saw before. Maybe you have seen it...and maybe you have felt the same. Something is just off you guys. I know they are professional dancers...I know they have to put on a happy face...I know they want to perpetuate MJ's spirit, his energy...but this is totally abnormal. Just a few months after MJ's so called "death", and they are acting like it's the opening of the planned concerts in London...]and Ellen is extremely bubbly when mentioning MJ's passing...OK, so no need for tears on stage here, but you'd think the voices, and the smiles and the happiness would be a weee bit toned down...I don't know. It's sort of like listening to an orchestra, and hearing one off note key somewhere, you can't pinpoint exactly which instrument it is, BUT you can detect it....Remember, these dancers - their entire LIVES were influenced by MJ...It just does not seem right...the whole vibe of this performance on the show....what do you think???

Its been 2 years and i still cant smile and laugh about it. I dont know how these people do.
I havent watched the video as you havent imbedded it properly... and to be honest, watching people smiling and laughing after losing MJ is too painful to watch.
Its like looking at those pictures of people at MJs wake... it wasnt people mourning, it was a party. I found it sickening.

And yeah, that's what I mean - it is odd - because it should be still a time (at that time) when it is too soon to be having these happy reflective 'let's shout for his legacy' kind of public show of emotions...you know? It's just not normal. Just wanted to tell you guys here having an off day - this Ellen clip is just another tid bit of proof that you may NOT HAVE to be having an off day...

I Think it's pretty "normal" considering the fact that some members of the family were all smiles even during the memorial, i think u know whom i mean....

I have to admit...a little bizarre! The whole thing around TII was odd....because of his, "passing"...thanks for posting this. It also reminds of something I have always been curious about.........why was it that the movie TII was only in theaters for 2 weeks? I had always felt that was odd........all that wonderful effort for a 2 week run?

I agree, weird, they're way too happy. It looks as if they are "allowed" NOT to hide their happiness, or that they're intentionally looking happy. A clue? bounce/

I think the dancers, Travis and Kenny were swore to secrecy not to reveal the hoax. They all knew that Michael faked his death. Ellen had no choice to put a smile it is her show and she needs to pep up her audience. Ellen is not in the hoax.

Look at the black girl in front of the photo of MJ.... she has a real, proper big smile on her face.
It makes me want to punch her, and i am not a violent person at all.

The dancers have a 2 year contract. I would say, part of that contract is a confidentiality claus/gag order, as well promoting TII.

The confidentiality agreement lasts beyond the 2 years. They are promoting a PRODUCT, and they are Pros. You put your best foot forward, and let the music carry you away - you don't think, when you perform.
Michael's a man - most people never got to meet him, spend time with him.
There's so much to LOVE. LOVE is what the world needs, to heal.
Donate to a charity, give time to those in need for the New Year!

Some of them are working for Cirque Soliel, so I wouldn't worry too much for them. Mourning someone's death for an extended period of time, you see a therapist! I'm sure they had that, and more. They must keep working, not sulking - that wouldn't sell.
I had many sad points, over 4 years of my father's death myself. But I had a plan, and went through with it. I had many, many successes. I still had moments of sadness, but I hid them with a sad smile. Most people never noticed. I kept that for private moments, never for the world to see.

Bless you Tink........I lost my parents a few years ago as well. There is no way of describing the pain, you just deal with it in your own way. Thank you for sharing this......you're a very strong person.

I know what you mean....when I talk about MJ it's with honorable reverence....and I just cry watching his concerts or short films. It seems when anyone interviews the family members, they are too composed...especially Paris and Janet....not even tears in their eyes. :?

A large, strong family is whom you're supposed to lean on, in the best and worst of times. My family is pretty large. I give things to the wee ones, of a dearly departed member, to sleep with at night after the inevitable happens. Such as a blanket, or a doll. It's quite comforting, when they feel alone in the middle of the night.
