Aaron Carter: I NEVER Said MJ Gave Me Coke!!! (http://www.tmz.com/2011/07/01/aaron-carter-michael-jackson-cocaine-daphne-barak-denial-no-drugs-fabrication-liar-lies-report-ok-magazine-australia/)

Aaron Carter's rep claims the singer NEVER told an entertainment reporter Michael Jackson gave him cocaine and alcohol when he was 15 years old ... and says the reporter COMPLETELY FABRICATED the story.
The controversy stems from an article that ran in OK! Magazine in Australia, written by international journalist Daphne Barak. In the article, Carter was quoted as saying, "Yes, [MJ] gave me wine. I mean, I could have refused, but I was 15. As for drugs? He gave me cocaine."
But Carter's rep tells TMZ, "Nothing was said that was reported" ... and directed us toward a YouTube video of the interview with Barak ... which seems to back up Aaron's side of the story.
We've reached out to Barak for comment -- so far, no response.

As expected ... Not a big surprise mj_dance/

Why are there so many irresponsible journalists? Why do they still need to stain Michael's name and fabricate lies for their benefit? Good thing everything's cleared up.

I agree but the problem is is that the story is out there. Good, bad, or ugly - it's out there. And some people won't hear or listen to the retraction after they hear this story. Bad news and gossip sells. Truth usually doesn't. The damage has been done because it's planted a seed in some people's minds. I think the reporter needs to be held accountable for her actions. All journalists need to be held accountable for making up stories for money.
That Daphne Barak needs to come forward and explain her actions.
Blessings.

I fully agree with you....the lie is like a seed in people's minds...and the truth is not important to the people..sadly.....Michael should make a deal "for every dirty news and calling him bad names" his money account should grow...how about that? HE will get rich lolol/

I was right, as well as many of you my friends! :D The story was completely fabricated, i couldn't believe that Aaron would say something like this about Michael.
Truth always prevails! michael-jackson/

It's good to see TMZ is clearing this issue. Damn trash tabloid. I hate these kind of reporters who stain Michael's name to get the attention on and make a couple of bucks more.

is that these journalists can say and write what they want without measuring consequences?

I can't take half of these terrible stories with a straight face. I can't tell what the motive is of this rumor. Is it for money? Or are all three: Barak, Jackson and Carter all in on it. Its just so odd that this story would find any reason to surface. Is it because of the previous "Michael Jackson found with cocaine in his pants" and this is just to push that story? Or can this all be dismissed as a fabricated story made up by a horrible woman who has to over compensate for her lack of journalistic talent? Well, I'm confident in knowing that if people read OK! like its the Bible, then they most likely have TMZ as their homepage. Atleast TMZ is on our side ;)

was so predicable there be MJ story on first july

I knew it. I remember reading it and thinking "This is OK magazine, they never tell the truth", and I was never convinced that Aaron Carter actually said this, because of the many times he has defended Michael in the past. I remember trying to bring it up in the chatroom, and nobody wanted to believe me, they were so hell bent on trashing Carter and saying that he is a lying douche bag. I kept saying that we didn't know whether or not the story was true and none of us know Aaron Carter personally nor have anyone of us ever sat down and talked one on one and so we can't judge him because we don't know him. But nope, everyone wanted to trash him, and then they brought up Justin Bieber and how they all would laugh if he ever committed suicide. I couldn't believe it. Right here, on the Michael Jackson death hoax chat room, where everyone is so "loving and kind, don't believe tabloid trash and seek the truth", and yet these very same members were in that chat room trash talking people they didn't know and thinking it was perfectly fine because they were only trashing people that they felt that deserved the trashing. Just goes to show that, even members here need to stop and look at their actions before saying anything negative and malicious about someone they don't know based upon misconceptions reported by the (biased and untruthful) media. We shoudn't be bashing anyone, whether or not we like their music, everyone deserves respect, Aaron Carter deserves respect, Justin Bieber deserves respect, even Miley Cyrus. It doesn't matter if you don't like their music or whatever, they are human beings like us and if we have never sat down and spoke one on one with them, how are we supposed to judge them? We only know the tabloid trash the media perpetuates, which I am sure nearly 99% of which are lies.
People here on this forum are good at respecting and loving Michael, but many do not extend that same respect and love to others, and that is unacceptable.

Exactly, my mom use to tell me never to lie, because lies have short legs.. Meaning the truth always comes out soone or later. I knew this was not true. Michael is right, do not listen to anyone anymore.. Look in the eyes of the public Michael is dead, so why tarnish his name again and again. Unless this is part of Michael's hoax, he wants to see if we are gullible enough to believe everything we read. Maybe before he makes his comeback he wants to make sure that we will always believe in him and not what the tabloids are writting. He wants to be reassured. I am just thinking out loud. I hate liars with a passion..

THANK YOU TMZ. bearhug
As for you Barak...

Apparently OK Magazine started the gossip, followed by copy&paste 'journalism' by other tabloids all over internet (how creative  ). I wonder how fast TMZ's controversial news will be copied/pasted. It's like a gossip virus and anti-virus lolol/

Michael, wine and cocaine - something was wrong in this picture

I agree 100% with you. I go on youtube and there are so many 'give us Michael Jackson back and take Justin Bieber' comments. I don't undestand this hate. Its depressing to see anyone reject another human being, no matter what the circumstances are. I love what Michael says about how music is music. Why hate one type of music? No one becomes angry when the blue jay sings or when the crow sings. Music takes all forms and should be recognized everytime with love and understanding.
