Hmmm... I thought I commented on this thread before!  Oh, well.  I think what's very interesting is Tupac's aunt was given sanctuary in Cuba because she was a black panther.  AND we have Michael's Black Panther video.  The Cuban government has strong connections and a shared history of struggle in Africa which ties in nicely with Michael's support for African liberation.
