Dr. Conrad Murray is handling one ultra-important aspect of his defense all by himself -- picking out the snazzy ties he wearing to his manslaughter trial each day.

Sources connected to doc Murray tell us he is taking a serious, yet frugal, approach to his ties -- sky blue and gold, so far -- choosing to stick with the ones in his closet ... instead of going on a necktie shopping spree.

We're told Murray has plenty to choose from -- the trial could go several months -- and he has two key criteria: no black (major downer) and no small patterns (not good for tv cameras).

Knot for nothin' -- but, we gotta ask ...

Are they trying to get us to play close attention to the ties, because so far Murray and a few others on Day 2 of the trial had yellow ties on or were wearing yellow (like the typing lady), Murray's lawyer also wore a sunflower tie...on day 1 CM was wearing a blue tie and Paul Gongaware was wearing blue as well (on both days).

or maybe they are just trying to put our attention on "details" - that we may miss while blinking the eyes

There was much talk of the tie colors the family wore for the memorial and burial.  Is there something up with the particular knot used?  There is a "windsor" knot or half windsor knot....as in House of Windsor.

What I thought instantly with the word "knotty" is "Naughty".... a play on words......as in Connie's been naughty or the strategy is naughty.

Gotta run....hugs to you all....
Blessing

I think they want us to focus too much on the ties, so we will miss some other important information, and someone else in the court room, of importance.

Funny, we've talked a lot about apparel here thru the years. Also, yesterday in chat for the live feed a few of us were talking about the ties and a couple of us suggested red for today, let's see what happens. Funny how we were talking yesterday and then again (nothing new right) that TMZ would mention it. HI HARVEY!!!

LOL...honestly I could see this going EITHER way...

1.  TMZ has been playing with us all along and this is a mocking of the fact that so much time has been spent by us hoaxers on watching tie colors, clothing worn and product placement to support our theory/belief of a hoax.

OR (and this is what I really think...)

2. We are being given a subtle nudge to STOP worrying about wardrobes and colors and to really listen and pay attention to what is now being said..."under oath"..."in court"...to really discover what's been hidden and who the guilty ones really are.  I think now that the trial has started...it's the WORDS that are more important.

I could be wrong but that's how I take it.  It makes no difference whether it's a "sting" court or a "hoax" court in this aspect since regardless of whichever it is there are bound to be non-knowers getting tripped up in the process (one way or another).  Just something to think about.

I agree with #2, everyone should pay attention to what is being said, but most importantly what's not being said and what's not being asked. What we also need to look for (continue that is) are the inconsistencies in statements we have heard from half of these people from the way beginning. I am pretty confident we are going to see more as the trial goes on. Some of the answers are open ended to speculate what they are truly saying, Kenny for example again I think we will see more of this.
