Who wants to watch some pictures from the PREMIERE here they are  :):

Going for a Moonwalk? Nicola Stapleton raises a few eyebrows with her choice of footwear at Michael Jackson film premiere

She's not exactly a red carpet regular but Nicola Stapleton made sure her presence was felt at the premiere of the new Michael Jackson film last night.
The actress is back on the celebrity circuit thanks to her return to EastEnders as the infamous Mandy, but all eyes were on her feet at the central London screening which took place at the Empire cinema.
Nicola, 37, wore a pair of high-heeled shoes that had spats attached to them.

(http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/11/02/article-0-0EA42B2500000578-833_468x780.jpg)  8-)

Perhaps it was in homage to Michael Jackson's footwear in his Moonwalker movie.

She matched the unusual footwear combination with a smart black LBD and black tights.
In 1988 movie Moonwalker Michael Jackson is seen wearing spats and a white suit during fight scenes and dancing scenes towards the film's close.

Meanwhile, somebody who makes no secret of their love for the late King Of Pop in Jodie Marsh.
Jodie, 32, was surprisingly demure at the red carpet event.

(http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/11/02/article-0-0EA4253B00000578-34_224x505.jpg)(http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/11/02/article-0-0EA4253100000578-488_224x505.jpg)(http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/11/02/article-0-0EA4253100000578-378_233x288.jpg)  8-)

She wore a tight-fitting dark purple dress, showing off her tattooed arm, matched with a pair of beige heels featuring studded detailing around the heel area.
Miss Marsh also had her hair styled into a sleek fringe, giving her a slightly different, more toned-down, look to normal.
Before the event she took to Twitter to announce to followers that she would be attendance.
She excitedly wrote: 'On my way to Michael Jackson World Premiere!!!!!!! His mum & family going to be there! So so nervous but excited all at same time.'
Later she added: 'I am the biggest Michael Jackson fan in the world and I'm at the premiere with his family. Awesome.'
And, once inside the cinema, she tweeted: 'Oh shit. Premiere hasn't even started & I'm in tears . As a Michael fan this is so emotional!! Everyone here loves him so much!!'

(http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/11/02/article-0-0EA42F5F00000578-175_224x582.jpg)(http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/11/02/article-0-0EA43E0500000578-48_224x582.jpg)

Also adding a touch of glamour to proceedings were model Caprice, Strictly Come Dancing star Nancy Dell'Olio, Alexandra Burke and Liz McLarnon.
Caprice flaunted her fantastic figure in a formulaic bandage dress, with light brown heels.
X Factor winner Alexandra Burke went for a floor-length navy number with a quaint pair of ruby-coloured flats.

Meanwhile Nancy and Liz both opted for all-black ensembles - Nancy in a low-cut LBD and former Atomic Kitten Liz wearing a black jumpsuit.
Most importantly Michael Jackson's brother Tito was in attendance alongside the director of the new film, David Gest.
Gest, a firm friend of the Jackson's for decades, is responsible for the new film which covers Michael's tragic life from his childhood up until his death, offering insight from Gest's in-depth knowledge of the late star and his upbringing.

Thanks so much, watched it earlier today and was in tears
But I always sob when watching about his trials especially.
God, if only they made it to real trial in 1993!! Michael sooo would win
big time. The whole HIStory would be different.. If only
But what a life..
Much was in Jermaine's book, about early years. Adorable.
Beginnings. My fave little Mike  bearhug
Off The Wall, how perfect.
Thriller.. madness totally started.
Michael "happens" once in 1000 years, oh why evil bunch of
human leeches were after him. Why we allow media to shape our
opinions!! Michael, I never ever listened and never believed their
bad words about you! Hope you knew how much we love you  :| we never
wanted you dead, we only wanted you to be happy and safe
Why are there such mean vicious people, preying after genius.
Michael became too big for them to bear. How sad.

Overall it was neat documentary. Don't want to be picky now  :-*

Oh, also want to say.. Michael sure went through hell, and survived.
No matter how many times he's called "frail" or "fragile",
even though I love the word fragile, like a butterfly..
He was incredibly Strong. So strong, wish i had 10% of that!
I know I won't make it through 2005. Now how strong he was.
Being the Human he is, being so innocent, being treated like a criminal,
hearing all the horrible lies, all the betrayal..
He's so tough. Yes it all was breaking him, but he still stayed Unbreakable. What a Man.

Dearest Aidan_81...Please know that everything that happened to Michael in his life was for a " higher purpose". Michael knew exactly how his "Life" would play out.You have the same strength inside of you! We all have it, but in order to understand and feel this strength, you must first rid yourself of FEAR! You must BELIEVE, with all your heart that you have the power to change your life for the better! You have to live your LIFE with Pure LOVE, like Michael does. We all have the gift of LOVE inside us waiting for us to acknowledge it.

Stay strong and believe in yourself...You are LOVE!!
Blessings, LOVE and LIGHT!

I just finished watching it.  I guess it is more from the perspective of people around him, nothing really from his perspective, so that alone was disappointing.  It was nice to know that so many loved him and thought he was so incredible. I guess what I always hope to see is more clips, interviews of the man himself.  Where are all those archive clips of him that is said to be there?  I loved This Is It so much, totally because it was HIM, the man himself.  So this mostly left me with a huge feeling of sadness--that he's gone forever, he was hurt so badly by everyone around him that he was taking drugs and anesthesia to go to sleep at night. It made me just want to go somewhere quiet and cry.  It made me think I hope we are not just deceiving ourselves here at our hoax forum.  Yet I know these 2 years here have proved beyond a shadow of doubt that so much of this docu is an illusion.  This illusion makes me want to pull out my hair after watching this.  So the only people I would recommend this video to would be people who still think he was a pedophile, gay and wacko.  And where was Diana Ross, Teddy Riley, Lisa Marie and many others we have come to know about here and love?  They made Elizabeth Taylor just look greedy, and I never liked Randy T. after reading his book about MJ.  There's something about all these many people that claim to be Michael's best friends and knew him so well, and perhaps MJ just was so kind to so many people that they really thought that, but inside MJ didn't feel that same trust and kindred spirit with them. I'm sorry, but this is how I feel.

i only looked at a very little bit of it. seems interesting to me that this mans ex liza seems quite intent on keeping michaels privacy for the most part and this man wants to blab all the details. something doesn't feel right. seems like from what i saw there is a lot of speculation on his part. liza suggested that michael did shut his family out , but i sounded from her like it was do to their i guess you would say behavior , not his. not that we can say she was totally honest either. i seriously get the feeling that this family was not terribly involved with each other , no matter how much they say they loved each other. it is really the same concept as love the sinner hate the sin. if you follow me.
ps wonder if karen does this guys makeup

Yes, I, too, would love to see more of Michael himself.  What he thought. What he saw.
But it's kinda impossible now  :-\

I'd say all documentaries we saw/will see, all the books now,
it's always author's point of view, subjective, his/her side of story.
As imperfect as it is, it does good to clean Michael's name as major public is still in denial/deaf about so many aspects of his life.

David's film is like David himself from what I get. Wasn't expecting something crazily deep and revolutionary, it's what David saw. But again, for major public it's good to see.

Thank you for posting this video. I had a chance to view the documentary a few days ago and I thought it was very well put together. It really displayed Michael's true character beautifully. I also learned a lot about the Jackson 5 start and how instrumental Bobby Taylor and others were to mobilizing a stellar career for the group and ultimately the family. Did anyone notice an interesting photo that was displayed towards the beginning of the film? It said "See You Soon". Unfortunately, I was looking at the film through my phone so I wasn't able to screen capture it but hopefully someone else will. It seemed odd that the photo was being used because it didn't quite fit with the narrative that was being stated. So if I had to guess, I would say that was a major clue.

Idk if this has been pointed out yet but on the back of the DVD there is a direct quote from Katherine. Katherine says, “Michael Jackson: The Life of an Icon is a truly remarkable film that captures the true character, wit and sensitivity of my son. Producer David Gest takes you on an emotional roller coaster that will bring people to tears as well as really understand who the man behind the music was and is. ” And I just thought to myself besides the hoax... WHAT ELSE COULD THAT MEAN? :(
Title: Re: Michael Jackson Life of an Icon-FREE WATCH :)
Post by: MJonmind on November 05, 2011, 01:20:13 AM
That's a good catch about the photo with "See you soon", and Katherine's words"was and IS".  I didn't see those. I'm sure if some of the family are involved (Katherine, Tito and Rebbie), and the 2 lawyers, then it must have MJ's backing, and is pushing the druggie illusion. The emphasis was definately on his early musical career and influences of artists, etc. with some speaking, with very compressed looks at his later life. I may be wrong but it seems to me that we only heard MJ's voice either singing or briefly speaking when he was with the Jackson 5, and not after at all. I wonder if there was a legal reason for that?  It really upset me that he told the story of the 2001 performance in New York, and that the only way MJ could get Liz Taylor to come was when he bought her some very expensive jewelry pale/  . Wouldl MJ have ever said something like that? They also acted as if MJ marriage to LMP was not real love, just briefly saying MJ said yes it was real. In the film David again mentions that an actress "jumped MJ's bones" at his age 19 and about all the many porn magazines everywhere. I know it was for those who still believe MJ was a pedophile.  He also made a big deal of it in the London premiere saying MJ was into "viginas, etc." and "jumping bones". I just thought it was disrespectful and it turned me off.  But I noticed that the wonderful lady lawyer with Mesereau (forget her name) said how Michael received gifts of pictures, and magazines from all over the world, and that many of those magazine could have come from them, and not necessarily that he purchased them. It's like David wanted to tell the world the opposite of what she wanted to portray of him, as a loving, beautiful, decent man. I really liked her and all that she said--beautiful!

I just finished watching it. Wow! A very detailed documentary with a massive emphasis on the early years through to all the troubled times. Just remember that when you watch it to wear your hoax hat as it's very easy to get sucked in to all the death stuff at the end. That was where I was more stand offish watching it at the end. I'm not very educated on the whole MJ thing with drugs so I'm not sure if what they were saying is correct but what that poor man had to go through in 1993 and 2005 was absolutely disgusting. Great that they went a long way to proving Michael's innocence. Bring on the comeback now!

Very good observation, very, very good, you have MY RESPECT  respect/!!!!
I'm trying to tell THIS to people for more than 1 year now,but no one BELIEVES me.THE 2005 trial was/is the BIGGEST HOAX beside this HOAX we have, for more than 20 years.I had put the PHOTO of the DVD on this forum already but no one even noticed that the picture shows a YOUNG Michael, not the RECENT MICHAEL  8-).No one even asked why "Why has this come at the END of the MURRAY TRIAL? WHY?? Who manipulated this whole thing  8-)? "

BIG clue: The title itself...LIFE of an I-CON.Does anybody here knows what CON means or I have to say this myself???? It seems that people already forget what Latoys said:"READ BETEWN THE LINES",GOD damit  albino/ 8-)!!!!!

I noticed the Apollo Marquee also with the See You Soon on it, its at 25:00 minute mark,,, and thought,, wow,, did I just see that? Is that a message? so i searched and searched for a photo like that, couldnt find one on the internet. BUT:
I enlarged a screen shot of it, and that photo was tampered with before put into the video : ).

Here are 4 pics for you all.
#1 screen shot enlarged: see all the white? where the black lines should be? that make up the black rectangles behind the letters? they are whited out : ).

#2 screen shot in the negative, you can easily see the photoshopped smudges now : )

#3 and #4 are pics that i did find of the Apollo marquee before it was renovated, you can clearly see the black rectangles, even tho the marquee is in bad shape

The "See You soon" was put into that picture for us, of this I have no doubt : ).  /woohoo/

See You Soon, eh?
At times clues, lies and hints make me exhausted. They are put
everywhere intentionally, I don't think we're all hallucinating here
Demerol, Demerol. I bet there is more even in that documentary but
I'm too tired to re-watch with "hoax" eyes, start crying during certain moments
and can't be "attentive" anymore .
If anyone has it and still has strength and time to watch it again [and again], please

When i say that i mean people were saying he was on drugs that were going to make him tired and slow and then he 'suddenly' finds it in him to put on a stellar performance.

I say this with all the love in my heart :-*
