I was randomly listening to:

These prank callers are really mean.. I feel sad for Michael Jackson in this case, but MJ fooled him.
But it seems like Michael Jackson had a phone which could change his voice.. Could it really be?

Ok.. ive listened to that twice now and that is DEFINETELY Michael talking and once he realises its a prank he switches the voice. :shock: :o :shock:
Its definitely Michael because of the way he speaks and he is talking about building a school in Africa and asking the guy about his creative ideas and such. Definitely Michael. I could listen to his voice for hours... so sweet. And good on him for switching the voice as soon as he realises. :lol:

Yes i think that was what the original poster was trying to say.. that the 911 call could have been made by Michael using voice changing software... something he obviously had on his phones as the second video illustrates.. one minute MJ is talking normally and the next he switches voices. Thats some serious technology he is using there to do that. :D

Regarding the second video the prank one, what a nasty individual that was. MJ is far too shrewd for these dimwits. I thought it was endearing the idea of a diamond being in "captivity". Good on MJ. People will have to get up awfully early in the morning to beat MJ.

At 1st I thought that MJ just handled the phone to someone, but now after listening it again, that changed voice sounds kinda robotic to me, so i do believe its something that MJ used to change his voice.....
Dont think it can relate to 911 recording tho.

It sounds SORT of like the voice he used to play the mayor in the "Ghosts" video, no?

MJ could change his voice without any help but it indeed sounds like some kind of software he used to change his voice in some cases, which could be what happened in the 911 call.

2. It again PROVES MJ was hip with his technology and was totally up to date with it. This is clearly some top end voice changing software he is using on his telephone. It disproves all the rubbish we have been fed by the likes of Karen Faye who would like us to believe he didnt even know how to operate a DVD player or use a computer (something i have disproved in another thread). People like to talk and make out they knew the man when really the knew nothing. It gives me an easy feeling to discount people like Karen Faye who have done a lot of lip flapping on the likes of Facebook recently. I can now totally ignore her and her ramblings.
3. MJ wasnt stupid and was equipped to deal with pranksters and tricks at a flick of a button. This also shows that he took steps to protect himself and counter-attack.

I think was really Michael at the start. He is so kind and amazing. I would love to talk to him! You could tell there were two moments where he suspected something was up. I bet he got that a lot.
I think that was a voice processor on the second part. It did sound robotic to me... but possible to do with audio plug-ins much like things you could use for recording.
Remind me that if I ever become famous to give out code words to my friends! :lol:

I kinda think it is him (the other voice) cos of the way he says 'hello' at the very beginning sounds like the super ghoul in ghost. Maybe he answers the phone like that cos of these sorts of phone calls ..

Even the dude at the beginning said that it sounded fake! But why MJ would pick up a phone himself, even with a changed voice? Didnt he have people for that?
But on other side MJ was a big kid, so it totally makes sense if he decided to get some software that changes his voice and answer the phone himself)))))

Yeah I think this is Michael and he changed the voice himself. No voice changing technology.
I think it's him at the end cos he kind of 'works into it' (the voice changes once, then again). He wouldn't change the voice unless something hurt him (the stupid comment toward the end) and he wasn't finding it funny anymore.
I think he answered his phone himself, just putting on a voice because I guess when you're the King of Pop, someone's bound to track down your number and do stupid stuff like that. Plus, as soon as he goes 'it's akon', michael goes 'ok hold on please', then the voice change and literally a second later he says 'akon!' - How'd he know it was Akon so fast?

I agree that he answered the phone like that to "screen" it first.... he probably did that all the time. Answered the phone in a strange voice pretending to be an assistant but as soon as he knew who it was he went into his own voice.
I dont know if MJ knew it was a prank from the beginning but he is suspicous as he questions "Akon" by asking him when was the last time he saw him and why his voice sounds wierd... love it when he says "ooooh.. you're in the air" :D

I keep listening to this over and over again... just listening to his voice is hypnotic. He had a beautiful speaking voice and was very eloquent.
I wish i could have been his friend because he would have been so easy to talk to and you can tell he would have been a right laugh!
The more i listen to it the more i think that it could be MJ changing his voice on his own. 8-)

The words "That's very funny" sound robotic to me... I think it could have been a combination of him pronouncing words differently and using a voice processor.

It may just be the way I hear it but I feel it's just him putting on a voice.
I feel like the first time we here it is, because of the way he says 'Hello' at the very beginning sounds the super ghoul in ghost to me. I also think if he had phone technology like that he'd need to press a button or something to activate it but his voice changed really quickly, I doubt he had time to do whatever he needed to do.
Also, on the end bit, his voice seems to deepen with a slight accent (when he says 'hey akon!'), but still sounds like Michael.. But then it changes again casually to a voice with a thicker accent. He sounds a bit panicky to me and almost like he's trying to cover up how hurt he is and just end the call, so it isn't as 'smooth' as the first time we hear it. When he's putting a fake laugh when he says 'oh hilarious *laugh*' it sounds like Michael.
Maybe it's just me, but that's how I hear it :P Thought I'd just tell you what to listen out for and see if anyone hears it like I do aswell :lol:

It's good to see that I've given you some more faith, atleast about the phone call.
One of the things that kinda makes me wonder, is the guy who answer. He is really fast to pick up the phone. Once he got the name, Michael picks up the phone and know's who it is. Maybe they had two phones, and MJ was listening to his "phone-guard" then answered once he said Akon. But most obvious that it was MJ himself, with some sort of voicechange, maybe himself, maybe some sort of technology.
In the end, when that "akon" idiot talks about molestion -.-, Michael starts laughing, and slightly change his voice while saying hilarious. "Thought you were talking to Michael? That's really funny guy" It sounds really robotic now..
Who knows? MJ is a genius. Just the phone call makes me realize even more how was smart and that he knew everything, he made sense of everything. He knew from the start of, that it was a prank caller.
It doesn't sound like "Dr." Conrad Murray, that says "He's gone" in the first video.. I think it sounds like a woman.

Im guessing they got his number from certain showbiz connections. I read once that MJ used to change his phone number often to couteract this. Something like a phone number cant be something that can be kept secret for that long i guess.

when I listen that, I can't hear Michael's voice (ofcourse) but with that video here with those (...) that joked with Michael, you can hear at the end that that is Michael. I hear there also a Robot voice. And here it is a real men voice so i don't think Michael did the 911 call.

My take on this is that it is the real MJ talking... and it is MJ talking at the beginning when he picks up the phone. He uses a strange voice and then at the end, when he realises it is a prank he switches back to the strange voice again.

Wow! I've never heard that "prank call" before BUT I truly love how Michael handles the situation! You can tell he's wary from the very beginning because he keeps asking so many questions like:"Where did we see each other the last time?" or "Why don't you sound like yourself today?" I love it when he says:"Oh...You're in the aaaaiiirrr?!" meaning: "How stupid do you think I am, darling?!" He is really clever. How could this guy mention the child molestation case? How disrespectful is that? That's not even funny. :roll: Michael did not freak out or just quit the phone call immediately but stayed calm & rather friendly even tho you could tell he was being sarcastic when he said:"You're hilarious!" What a twat. Your reaction was really smart, MJ. Tho the last part of the phone call sounds computerized to me Michael had several different voices. When he talks to the press he uses a high-pitched voice. I love his tone here. Really sexy I have to admit. I'd love to talk to him on the phone while talking to him face to face would be a dream come true! ;) I've been so close to my aim about 12 years ago!
