Tweeted this:
Wishing you all an eventful first week of the new decade May our World become a more loving, tolerant and peaceful place Heal the World xo
"eventful"?????? Why wish people an "eventful" first week., normally the wording should be "uneventful"
Typo? Or maybe he a bit dim? Or more?
And why does he keep quoting Michael Jackson?? He isnt Michael Jackson.. he gets on my nerves this Kenny man!
-
MAY!!!!!! may would be just fine with me.......
-
Kenny really isn't friends with the "."
His tweets often get misinterpreted because he doesn't use period after finishing a sentence :)
I see he's using XO now in stead of the famous "LOVE TOY" ...maybe he didn't had enough space.
I like Kenny thou...he's always so happy and positive :D maybe for good reasons.
Hi, Mr.Ortega! *waves*
-
YEs,,, but "eventful"? wtf?
-
Maybe he is quoting MJ to pay him tribute and continue to broadcast his words.
Or then he knows about the hoax and he uses the words of MJ to make us hope.
-
is it entirely possible that mike is tweeting through Kenny , or posing as Kenny online?
-
YEs,,, but "eventful"? wtf?
perhaps this refers to the new song.. only a guess-it's the first thing I thought
-
If he really said 'May' with a capital maybe he is trying to hint at the month??
-
I always thought that Kenny has been giving us clues. I think this is one of them too.
"Eventful" could refer to the song and probably to the new webpages etc. And that "MAY" is interesting too. I liked the message :D
-
I don't know why saying "eventful" instead of "uneventful" is a weird thing.
I don't understand what you mean.
Had he said "uneventful" then that would be VERY weird because he'd basically be wishing us a very boring year.
and months are usually capitalized but who knows...
-
hi is coming back in May (hope on my birthday :D)
-
ive got my eyes on kenny.. 8-)
I remember his tweet back in september
"Smee: Captain, the ice is melting, the sun is out and the flowers are all in bloom Captain Hook: He's back
12:25 AM Sep 1st, 2009 from web "
and then again 12 minutes later
"Smee: Captain, the ice is melting, the sun is out and the flowers are all in bloom Captain Hook: He's back
12:37 AM Sep 1st, 2009 from web"
Hmm. Makes me think *Spring* "The flowers are all in bloom" also, quoting from Michael's favorite movie; Peter Pan. :o :D
-
Hmm, this is an interesting tweet by KO.
Usually months are capitalized, so he could be hinting at the month of May (that'd be an awesome birthday present lol)

Yeah, I thought so too
Whats so weird about it
Maybe just my English
But I'm still wondering though

Yea there's nothing weird about the "eventful" thing.
Maybe with "May" but certainly not the word choice.
I think there was just confusion on the poster's part on what KO meant.

He could write something else but he chose to write "eventful first week" and why FIRST WEEK only? I don't know but it seemed like something to me :)

yes I get that but the poster said that the correct word should have been "UNeventful"
and I was stating that saying uneventful would in fact be weirder lol...
-
ahhhhh...tq roxy

I know I got that but why would he need to use "eventful" or "uneventful" in a New Year message? English is not my native language but I've never got a NY message like that before. That's what I'm trying to say :) But of course it can be something normal. Just seemed like something to me :)

oh ha :) okay I understand.
well in English that word isn't necessarily formal.
eventful is just another way of saying "not boring"
it does not necessarily have to pertain to an event occurring
but you're right. it could mean something. anything's possible :)

just wanted to clear things up for those who aren't native English speaking.....a common statement to say to someone is "hope you have an uneventful evening." The reason someone usually says that is because the other person had a very rough day (or year in this case.) That being said, in America, it would be VERY normal for celebrities to say "hope you have an uneventful day/week/year" in hopes that things are less gloomy (since we lost SO many celebrities to death, etc in 2009.)
As for Kenny's tweets....he does not use punctuation so it's difficult to notice the end of a sentence so instead of ending sentences with "." he just types next word with upper case like "May" instead of continuing with lower case "may." More than likely, Kenny is just a very cheerful person who is NOT trying to give clues but....I still see clues, especially with the old tweet referencing Captain and Smee. Definite clue!

Thank you! And now I can see the meanings.
I'm not a native English speaker, either.
-
eventful= full of events, having important issues or results
Nice, Kenny dear ! Thank you !

I can't help but think he's not "tweeting" to all of us as it's very easy to read his tweets as if a message to someone. Maybe I'm crazy but it sounds like he's communicating w/someone in particular, esp since saying "TOY"...pretty sure he's not really thinking of us
-
He is in LA
-
I like the sound of Kenny he does give out good tweets
-
I hope we will know the truth soon, because I begin to become crazy... :D

Oh Goodness, don't give the person that creates thisisalsoit.com any ideas. I bet ya within a week that site will redirect us to something about the month of May or about eventful things. Any takers!!!!
