I don't think they were close friends I just think they had admiration and respect for each other. I think MJ might have had a little crush on her though. I heard a video of him when he was young and he said he like gals that got big legs. Beyonce got those legs so maybe he was checking her out. I know when he got the award from her at the world music awards it kinda looked like he sniffed her hair and I think he said wow to her.
