This is truly the greatest show on earth. The DVD has a disclaimer at the beginning of the movie that reads "the following interviews and commentaries are for entertainment only." Some of the interviews and commentaries "suggest" that Michael is dead. That says it all! And of course, still no dates, no RIP, etc.
The 2nd disc on the 2-disc edition contains only interviews and commentaries with the band, the dancers, the singers, etc. and it has the very same disclaimer! "The following interviews and commentaries are for entertainment only!"
Michael Jackson - "I am Peter Pan. I'm Peter Pan in my heart."
Peter Pan - "To die would be a great adventure."
Michael Jackson - "This is an adventure. It's a great adventure."
Michael Cotton - "He's Peter Pan laughing his ass off." (On DVD)
Frank Dileo - "His legacy to me will be his sense of humor." (On DVD)

Realy!! :shock: I bought the blue ray two days ago and the Walmart exclusive yesterday and planned to watch this week-end...I guess I'll take a peek this afternoon...when my daughter and husband are out ...think their kind of saturate with Michael...wonder why :shock: :lol: :lol:

Guys, that's just standard. Every DVD has it.
They're just saying that whatever commentaries are made by actors, directors, etc... are for entertainment only and that they don't reflect Sony/Paramount/ etc....

It is definitely NOT STANDARD. To say that the "views expressed are not necessarily those of Sony, etc." is standard. But "the following interviews and commentaries are for entertainment only" is definitely NOT STANDARD! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I have to agree.
Disclaimers like that (...for entertainment only) are usually used, as far as I know in my country, when it refers to a satirical show or things like that.

see my boyfriend like MJ and hes a fan of his music, but i cant talk about him or watch anything about MJ around my bf cause after his death he find all the hype ridiculous, he keeps saying and i quote " god man, now that hes gone all they do is talk about how great he was, but when he was alive all they did was bash him, like fuck hes gone le the poor man rest in peace now and stop talking about him, yah cause thats what MJ would want to die and be talked about even more, now they are just milking it give it a rest let the man be " lol he doesnt hate MJ he just hates that people wont shut up about him, hes getting "michael jacksoned out" as he puts it haha.

I don't have the blu ray yet, because I'll wait until feb. 26th, when the Blu Ray-Steelbook-Special Edition comes out....

Is it standart "the following interviews and commentaries are for entertainment only" for a domumentary in USA?
It´s supposed to be a tribute documentary, made from "personal use footage", but still documentary.

More and more I get the feeling that TII is a film, not a documentary. I don't even know if it's good or bad (in case there is no hoax). But as long as there is no "R.I.P" it's all good.

Does it have the full disclaimer or just the beginning bit... ie.
"The following interviews and Commentaries are for entertainment only. The views and opinions expressed therein are those of the individual speakers and do not necessarily represent the views and opinions of Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment, Sony Pictures Entertainment or any of their respective affiliates or employees."
That would make more sense.

No, I'm sorry but they don't say it like that. Not to disrespect you but I've noticed when a company releases a video or program and it doesn't reflect the views of the company they will usually post a disclaimer saying that the views or comments expressed in this program do not reflect the company. Something along that line. They wouldn't use the term this is for entertainment only. That basically like they're saying everything is this movie is to entertain you which to me suggest that everything may not be fact or true simply entertainment.
