Did anyone else notice this???? After wataching the dvd, i noticed that the second verse of the "rap" that Vincent Price says is different than the original version, and after watching "This Is It" in the theater 6 times, I'm pretty sure they were not like that in the theater version.
The original version says:
"The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom
And though you fight to stay alive
Your body start to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller"
In the dvd the lyrics are:
"The demons squeal in sheer delight
It's you they spy, so plump, so right
For through the groove is hard to beat
Yet still you stand with frozen feet
You try to run, you try to scream
But no more sun you'll ever see
For evil reaches from the crypt
To crush you in it's icy grip"
I have never heard these lyrics before, and the voice sounds different than Vincent Price (he's been dead for a long time)
Why the change?????? Any thoughts on this???

i remember the theater version, they were diff as well. All is normal on this one. :)
-
OMG!!!

The second rap lyrics that Vincent Price does in the film, I believe, are included on a special edition of Thriller, (possibly the 25th Anniversary Duluxe Special Edition) with just him reading them (no music) :)
-
I am going to have to listen to Thriller the 25th anniversary edition and the dvd again. I feel this is major clue from MJ. He is sending clues through is music.
-
My mistake, It is on the 2001 Special Edition of Thriller not the 25th anniversary one. This version also has a bunch of interviews with Quincy Jones.
-
Thanks for the post. Very good post.

That part was always in the movie. I don't see how this relates to the hoax anyway. Besides, it doesn't sound completely like Mr. Price anyway. If it is, it's possible that it's an old recording because I'm sure they did multiple different verses for the rap.
-
This is normal guys. It was originally recorded by Vincent for the original Thriller but they decided to take it out of the final cut.I've heard it before the 25th anniversary disc came out. :D I'm glad they included it.

First of all, sorry for my english. I read very often this forum but i don't react a lot because i'm french but i have 2 things to say:
1. in TII, during thriller, there is another song during this scene and it's DEMEROL!!!!!!!!
Why would you put this song "demerol" in TII
2. Don' you find that TII movie seems to be less "succeded". I will say that : if you compare the movie and the features. I find that "beyond the scene" and "the adventure begins" show more details, more decor, more costume and more 3D videos as if the movie was made BEFORE the features, as if Michael is working on his project.
What do you think about that?

I think there's a clue in the song "Demerol." MJ did write the song, so let's check out the lyrics. Here's are the lyrics:
Michael Jackson Morphine lyrics
Written and composed by Michael Jackson
He got flat baby
Kick in the back baby
A heart attack baby
I need your body
A hot kiss honey
He's just a bitch baby
You make me sick baby
So unrelying
I'm such a swine baby
All down the line daddy
I hate your kind baby
So unreliable
A hot buzz baby
He's one of us baby
Another drug baby
You so desire
Trust in me
Trust in me
Put all your trust in me
You're doin' morphine
Hoo!
They got place baby
Kicked in the face baby
You hate your race baby
You're just a liar
Your every lick baby
Your dog's a bitch baby
You make me sick baby
You soul survivor
She never cut from me
She never cut baby
I had to work baby
You just a rival
Always to please daddy
Right up and leave daddy
You're thorwing shame daddy
So undesirable
Trust in me
Just in me
Put all your trsut in me
You're doin' morphine
Go'on babe
Relax
This won't hurt you
Before I put it in
Close your eyes and count to ten
Don't cry
I won't convert you
There's no need to dismay
Close your eyes and drift away
Demerol
Demerol
Oh God he's taking demerol
Demerol
Demerol
Oh God he's taking demerol
He's tried
Hard to convince her
To be over what he had
Today he wants it twice as bad
Don't cry
I won't resent you
Yesterday you had his trust
Today he's taking twice as much
Demerol
Demerol
Oh God he's taking demerol
Hee-hee-hee
Demerol
Demerol
Oh my Oh God it's Demerol
Hee
Oooh

Your dog's a bitch baby

Its the 2001 25th Thriller anniverasry version.
-
Where did they put that song? During Thriller, they played a part from the song Threatened though which is a clue bag!
-
I noticed the different rap immediately in the theater, it sounds so much different from the original. I think they changed it because this is Thriller II (TII, This Is It) ;)
-
OMG this is epic, where do you get this?
