I saw this and it didn't worry me at all.

Remember, the majority of people believe that MJ is no longer with us.  It would have looked more odd if they hadn't put that.

Keep the faith.   :)  :)

Dont lose hope because the media puts the birth/death date of Michael. They've been punk'd and dont know any better. Think of all the magazines who've put his death date on their front pages? And companies who've published posters? And books that have been republished with a afterword and deathdate? They dont know!

yeah its just a show. if it came from mjj productions like "this is it" then maybe that would be weird. but remember this is it-a movie from mjj prod. had no dates. :?:  :?:  :?:

Keep searching.. :) keep the faith.

i have the feeling that they are trying harder to convince the "mass" about his "death"

that is what i experience  ;)

Yes I noticed that and I felt a pang of pain in my heart.........
and then I thought well they cannot really write "1958-till God knows when it will be because we think he is not dead"
And don't forget Janet is on the show tomorrow so they have to humour her!!

omg its so hard when im watching those video blocks they have on Mj on that channel fuse they'll have a brief segments of all the tributes people had worldwide days following june 25th and people holding candles and what not. oh gosh it tears me apart.

but then i come here and am reminded me of all the weird stuff that is NOT being told to the main stream media and makes me think otherwise. so no need to give up now.. :)

Remember.. ITV is a British broadcasting company that has no affiliation with AEG, Sony, Kenny Ortega or the Jacksons.  I think thats worth remembering!

But it was painful to watch.. I know that MJ was supposed to have been on the X Factor as he should be in London doing his shows right now... and when they showed the video of MJ at the beginning my heart thumped through my chest.  SOOO PAINFUL.

And don't forget that Janet is making an appearance on the results show tomorrow night so they have to 'tow the line' although I really wouldn't have expected ITV to have done any different.

As I said earlier, it would have stood out like a sore thumb if they HADN'T put those dates up.  It's no biggy.

Agree :)
I can't watch the X Factor here... I live in France :(  but what I can say is that  we've kept telling that we've seen "1958-2009" nowhere in the This Is It movie etc etc ... It has to be more convincing  you know ;)

Am just watching the Extra factor on sky (is a sort of Xfactor extra for sky viewers) and they have Michaels glove on there on a pedestal type thing on the stage. Holly the presenter said "how fabulous is that"- dont forget Dermot said at 02 after Michals announcement "how weird was that". Seems everyone is remembering the 02 in March and the fact that it was very weird!

It's only a show which has no connection to MJ so of course they'd put up those dates, they believe MJ to be dead. Don't lose hope this is nothing.

When Dancing With The Stars did a tribute to MJ, they put a picture of him with 1958-2009 underneath. They have to put the dates orpeople would wonder why they didn't put his birth/death date. It has to be believeable. Keep the faith & don't lose hope.  :)  MJ is very much alive!  ;)

Yes I thought that too - when SC said that, I immediately said to my husband - its really like he's not really gone - and I haven't felt like he's not here at all since June 25th.

Strange how Janet didnt speak, huh?   Everyone of the other celebrity guests always has a couple of minutes chat with Dermot at the end...  and remember Dermot was there at the O2 announcement with MJ!!!!!

I didnt think much of Janets performance... what has really been bugging me about all this is how Janet seems to be riding on the wake of her brothers "death".  She, along with the brothers, seem to be really cashing in on it and i dont like it.  Makes me feel uneasy.

1958-forever.......i think youll find janet did hang around on the stage waitin for dermot to talk to her as she glanced over to him but he just turned to the camera and started talkin to the screen and she ran off stage but i thought it weird no mention of michael from his own sister but i gotta say theres just no escaping the man hes everywhere and so he should be,next programme to be aired on bbc soon is the best michael jackson dancer hosted or created by jermaine jackson watch out for it.

I noticed Janet staying on stage and what seemed to me a snub by Dermot to her.
What would he have said? "Is This Weird for You?"
What did stand out was he kept saying "This Is It" and even Holly on ITV2 Said it!!
I remember hearing that Mike was going to be a mentor on the show, why didn't they ask Janet to mentor the contestants?
I felt awkward watching tonight, We had part of the "Music Royal Family" on stage and snubbed, but lady Gaga gets an interview, will anyone know who Lady Gaga is in 2 years, never mind 50.

Janet may have stipulated beforehand that she wouldn't speak.  I doubt that Dermot or the X-Factor producers would snub her.  However, both my husband and myself thought it odd that she wasn't interviewed.

Yes !  Xfactor had origionally planned for Michael to  come and perform.I reckon Janet was a bit pissed that she was 'second best'.No mention of Michael, or a thankyou  for the tribute.Mind you,she looked so knackered after that overstaged  last attempt of putting herself 'out there' I dont think she could breathe ,let alone talk.
