Title: I think I know why the 911 caller never mentioned his name.
Post by: DontBelieveTheHype on December 06, 2009, 01:27:55 PM
Ive been trying to figure out why the 911 caller never mentioned Michaels name, you'd think it would have saved his life had he said it was Michael Jackson who fell ill and they might have figured out faster where the call came from since they didnt know the address to his home.

If this indeed was a real phone call and not pre-recorded and staged, saying Michael Jackson is on their way to the hospital would stir up alot of drama, the entire ER unit, including the entire hospital would know Michael Jackson is on their way and would want to snap a photo of him, sell a story to the paper ect.

Sounds logical, yes. But thats not only why. The caller was smart enough not to mention his name and he had a chance to mention it several times but refused to, because had he done so the paparazzis (the real ones) would be tipped off from ambulance/ER staff and be there at the scene and take real photos of him. And since there was already paparazzi (fake ones, such as MJ's friend Benjamin) who took the moneyshot, they didnt want any competition, because Michael was never there in the first place, so if the other dosen paparazzis came to discover Michael was never at the scene of the crime they would have reported this death to be a hoax immediately. So why so few paparazzis at the scene? They were in on the hoax and thats why they were the only ones there. Imagine if someone would tip of Michaels name when the 911 call was being made, everyone would storm to his house and the hoax would be blown off.

It was a smart move, when you think about it.

Yes it's a good thought. I really think that this call is staged...because the paramedic is so strange....and it's againt their protocol to hang up the phone before the ambulance arrives

Yes, I agree. Very good topic and thread. I have always wondered about the 911 call, it doesn't seem genuine to me. I don't know about the USA but here in the UK as soon as you make n emergency call they will ask the name of the caller before they do anything as there are so many prank calls and nutters and although we have plenty- nutters are not just limited to the UK! Also as said they stay on the phone until the ambulance arrives, if not it is a serious misconduct of medical ethics and I would of thought in the USA which is a place of everyone sueing everyone it would not have happened like that.

To play devil advocate... the reason they didnt mention MJ name was not to cause panic and to give MJ dignity??
If he really did die, you wouldnt want the paps swarming the place would you?

Also.. i dont agree that by stating MJ by name would have got the ambulance there any quicker.  Im sure everyone gets treated the same in an emergency situation and from what i understand the ambulance got to the location within minutes anyway.
From the story we have been told at the moment... the problem was Dr Murray leaving MJ alone when he died and then speaking on his cell phone for an hour whilst he lay unconscious and dying/dead before doing CPR.
Hmmmm.....   i dont give the 911 tape any credence either way at the moment.
