Since MJHD "borrows" threads and posts from us, I'm sure they won't mind us "borrowing" one of theirs.  Here ya go:

The story we've led to believe is that after Tohme got Colony Capital to take care of Neverland, Tom Barrack (from CC) got in contact with Anshutz who got Randy Phillips involved etc.

However this document shows that Michael's former manager Raymone Bain had been in negotiations with AEG since 2007!!!

Also notice FILM PROJECTS ;)

Look at point 30. Bain spoke to AEG about Film Projects. But AEG claim that the footage was for Michaels library and only used it after his "death"!!!

So, MJ and AEG have been negotiating since 2007?  And the contract included saving Neverland Ranch? I havent read the whole thread, just that part in the contract.  Is this what they're talking about?

Edit** Ok so its not about saving the ranch, but about development of the Ranch?  What do they mean by this?  This reminds me of the cement deposited last year.

So Neverland is being developed as an Entertainment Park.  Maybe that is why there has been absolutely nothing in the news about Neverland, no pictures...no nothin'!  I thought it strange that Orianthi performed there last week but there was no "news" story or pictures of that day.  It is also strange that Tom put in his video the twitter from Orianthi that she is a "beLIEver".  Very curious indeed....

Yes, he had projects in mind, but what I didnt know is that Ms. Baine was negotiating with AEG since 2007.

# 30 says...
Quote
On several occasions, Ms. Bain met with AEG representatives including
Messrs. Randy Phillips, Tim Lewinski, Paul Gongaware, and John Meglin.
Mr. Jackson was present at the majority of those meetings. In addition, Ms.
Bain met with representatives from AEG's film division regarding Mr. Jackson's interest in producing films including film projects directed to
PharaohTutankhamun "King Tut"
, Thriller and CGIAnimation.

"The mummy was then wrapped in many layers of linen strips, sealed to the body by tar and/or resin. Magic amulets were put in the folds and were believed to protect the body from evil spirits and help the soul on its journey through the afterlife. The entire process was completed in 70 days, after which the mummy was delivered to the deceased person's family for burial."

This is interesting and I am glad that Jacksonologist made a thread. I will be sure to check it out! Going along with this topic and the fact that "talks were in the works" for awhile with the Neverland development......what do you all think about the new Cirque du Soleil show that is being produced with Michael Jackson theme???? I am certainly excited and hyped up about this but it is awfully ironic how this is all coming to fruition so quickly after MJ's supposed death....PARTICULARLY when MJ had been looking to do this sort of show in Vegas long before he ever "died". OMG!!!!! This show is going to tour for 1 year starting in late fall 2011 and then become a permanent show in Vegas in fall 2012. Do you think the BAM will happen at any of those shows!?!?!?!??!!  I hope I am at one to see it. How cool can it be?!?!?!?!  I am pumped. This current thread along with the Cirque news just keeps me thinking that something is certainly up and it is BIG, VERY BIG!!!!! Oh, Michael, I love you!!!!!

Now, I'm going to officially go on book as saying... if this is true, then this is some Weeeiiiirrrrrrddddd sheeeeet. Simply... bizarre. Personally... consider this bullcrap till it appears in Variety or Hollywood Reporter... I couldn't get anyone to comment on it for ya, so it is unconfirmed RUMOR.... more... later...

I work at Columbia, and am not sure if this is the information you need. However, Columbia are set to go ahead with a massive big budget, adaptation of the story of 'King Tut', an Egyptian ruler who died at aged 18. Now most people know that. However, the funny thing is singer Michael Jackson is set to get the lead role.

Now speaking to a few people i have heard the reasoning behind this, and i cannot confirm this. Columbia is part of the Sony group, as you know, and Michael Jackson is signed to Sony Music. Michael Jackson agreed to do another album for Sony Music on the condition an agreement was made to allow him a pathway into the movie industry. Some kind of agreement was signed by Sony Music (Epic) and Columbia, for this to happen. Again i cannot confirm this. However, i am sure Michael Jackson is set to take the lead role. And what makes it even more believing, is that this story has leaked out to various media over the last few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled.

I have been searching around on TMZ.  They reported in Sept that people from Neverland applied for some new patents for things that were needed for Neverland of the Entertainment/Museum (whatever it is).  The patents requests were withdrawn after the TMZ story broke.  I have asked them if there is any new news on this.  There is something going on at Neverland.  I hope they answer the question on Live today.  I will let you know.  (I have a very strong feeling it is tied in with this King Tut thing.

Hollywood is really conservative  when it comes to movie characters and their ages. King Tut died at age 18 so why would they cast a middle aged man to portray that movie character even if that man is the great Michael Jackson? Hollywood tends to steer young and apply make up to make an actor age and not the other way around. Unless they planned to use some sort of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"  special effects, I am not fully understanding their casting decision for this one.

The only thing is,my theory would completely break down with this one, it is now even getting more and more complex. I just don`t know right now how to build in the components so that things fit again.I came to concluding the hoax needed to be done for safety. OK, it does not necessary exclude that need, but still, I am a little confused at this point and first of all will have a good night sleep before jumping in. Looking forward, though! :D  :D

Just saw this post over there:

Thats right but in 1999 Michael was reported through a reliable source to want to make King Tut through Columbia who released This Is It.

In 2007 Michael still wanted to make King Tut.

Now King Tut is being released in 2012. Also the movie 2012 and the Jackson connection and now Cirque saying 2012 for LV residency.

Now King Tut is being released in 2012. Also the movie 2012 and the Jackson connection and now Cirque saying 2012 for LV residency.

Sounds like they are planning for it to all come out at once!

I watched TMZ live today.  It was interesting Mike was doing the show before Harvey arrived.  When he bringing Harvey up to speed and mentioned MJ, Harvey said "What did Michael Jackson do?"  Then they go on to talk about the cirque de soile.  I will try to put it up when it is available unless someone else does.  They didn't answer my questions about Neverland.  I will try to keep searching.

So this was filed prior to 6/25/09.  Is this the person who's lawsuit was totally dismissed?  If she did ALL OF THAT, why is she not getting paid?  Why was she denied ANYTHING when she went to court?   Looks like she certainly earned something :? To get nothing is like UNBELIEVABLE.

It is a lot to try to explain and I really don't know how to start.  The link to the other forum is in the first post of this thread.  There is a lot of information there on that forum.  Basically it is saying MJ signed a contract in 2007 to turn Neverland into an Entertainment Park.  But there is other information that he was very interested in playing King Tut in the movie, in fact he was slated to do so.  There are a lot of similarities between King Tut and MJ that the other forum goes into detail about.  A couple of the posts have been copied and pasted here.  There are at least 12 pages of post on the other forum so it is too much to transfer but it is very interesting!  Please check it out.  It will bring you up to speed.

Interesting it makes me remember of an article from TMZ about a supposed MJ wife who filed a claim. Her name was Nona Paris Lola Ankhesenamum Jackson and when you look for Ankhesenamum it appears that it is the name of one of Tuthankamun wives...

From wiki:

Ankhesenamun was a queen of the Eighteenth dynasty of Egypt. Born as Ankhesenpaaten, she was the third of six known daughters of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten  and his Great Royal Wife Nefertiti, and became the Great Royal Wife of her (half-)brother Tutankhamun.

King Tuts death remains a mystery and still is discussed today.  Murder or not murder, that is the question!

It all stacked up. It was all circumstantial evidence as such, but frequently that is all that investigators of ancient mysteries have to go on. And yet, the most recent findings on the death of King Tut (Tutankhamun) seem to conclusively indicate that he died of natural causes, rather than being murdered. Specifically, the latest report is that he died of gangrene caused by a broken leg.

There was more than a little reason to believe that King Tut may have been murdered. The two principal suspects, Aye who succeeded him as king, and General Horemhab who in turn succeeded Aye to the throne, both appear to have been powerful men who, in effect, ruled Egypt while King Tut was a child. It would not be unreasonable at all to believe that, as King Tut grew into a young man, the two elder men would have resented losing much of their power. Furthermore, at the time of his death, King Tut was certainly old enough to have sired an heir to the throne himself, which would have at least technically eliminated Aye and Horemhab from ever ascending the throne. It is also noteworthy that the young King Tut was greatly loved in ancient Egypt for restoring the Amun priesthood after the death of his presumed heretic father, Akhenaten. However, this was almost certainly the work of Aye and General Horemhab, who could have even resented Tut receiving all the glory of their work.

Finally, there was the issue of King Tut's widow, Ankhespaton, who was apparently forced to marry Aye after King Tut's death. Only a short time later, she disappeared from the annals of history, leading to speculation that she too might have been murdered.

These circumstances all contribute to an ancient mystery, and much intrigue, a situation that was not completely uncommon in the Egyptian royal court. Attempts had, and would be made to murder pharaohs, a few of which were successful. Usually, these seem to have been plots within the harem with the goal of elevating one wife's son to the throne over another's.

Now we are told, in absolute terms, that King Tut died by natural causes. However, lets take a little closer look.

One of the most interesting aspects of Egyptology is that various scholars very frequently present their interpretation of events as absolute, and particularly in books or releases to the general public, neglect to reveal opposing views. This occurs all the time, frequently with one expert asserting absolutely one conclusion, while another asserting absolutely a completely different conclusion. For example, debates continue to rage over who was actually King Menes, the founder of the 1st ancient Egyptian Dynasty, with some scholars stating unequivocally that it was Aha, with others still believing it to have been Narmer.

In the case of King Tut, one must first remember that his mummy is not in very good condition today. When Carter discovered it, his team basically dismantled the corpse while looking for amulets and other jewelry. Furthermore, many of its parts present at the original examination by Carter are now missing, and both skin and bones were broken in numerous places, supposedly also by the Carter team.

Dr. Zahi Hawass, the Director of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA), makes some interesting comments about the most recent findings on King Tut. Though he seems to mostly be in agreement with these findings, he states, for example, that, "...some (not all) team members interpreted a fracture in the left thighbone as evidence for the possibility that Tutankhamun broke his leg badly just before he died".

He goes on to explain that:

"The team has noted a fracture of the left lower femur (thighbone), at the level of the epiphyseal plate. This fracture appears different from the many breaks caused by Carter's team: it has ragged rather than sharp edges, and there are two layers of embalming material present inside. Part of the team believes that the embalming material indicates that this can only have occurred during life or during the embalming process, and cannot have been caused by Carter's team. They note that this type of fracture, unlike most of the others, is possible in young men in their late teens, and argue that it is most likely that this happened during life. There is no obvious evidence for healing (although there may be some present, and masked by the embalming material). Since the associated skin wound would still have been open, this fracture would have had to occur a short time, days at the most, before death. Carter's team had noted that the patella (kneecap) on this leg was loose (now it is completely separated, and has in fact, been wrapped with the left hand), possibly suggesting further damage to this area of the body. The part of the team that subscribes to this theory also notes a fracture of the right patella and right lower leg. Based on this evidence, they suggest the king may have suffered an accident in which he broke his leg badly, leaving an open wound. Although the break itself would not have been life-threatening, infection might have set in. However, this part of the team believes it also possible, although less likely, that this fracture was caused by the embalmers".

"Part of the team believes that the above scenario is absolutely not possible. They maintain that the fracture mentioned above can only have been done by Carter's team during extraction of the body from the coffin. They argue that if such a fracture had been suffered in life, there would have been evidence for hemorrhage or hematoma present in the CT scan. They believe the embalming liquid was pushed into the fracture by Carter's team".

However, one of the main reasons that murder has ragged on as a possible cause of King Tut's death is because of a fracture to the back of his head. Revealed in an X-ray of his mummy made by the University of Liverpool, a trauma specialist at Long Island University in the US theorized that the blow was not caused by an accident. However, according to Dr. Hawass,

"The entire team agrees that there is NO evidence for murder present in the skull of Tutankhamun. There is NO area on the back of the skull that indicates a partially healed blow. There are two bone fragments loose in the skull. These cannot possibly have been from an injury from before death, as they would have become stuck in the embalming material. The scientific team has matched these pieces to the fractured cervical vertebra and foramen magnum, and believes these were broken either during the embalming process or by Carter's team".

So, while some recent news coverage seems to indicate that all of the questions surrounding Tutankhamun's death have now been answered, at least for some scholars, they have not. Perhaps, once all the results of the recent CAT scan have been released, everyone may be in agreement, but there still seems to be some question, at least according to Dr. Hawass, that at least some of the team that examined the CAT scans disagree with the absolute finding that gangrene caused by a broken leg caused King Tut's death.

Therefore, we know that he wasn't murdered.

Sounds familiar to me...

also.. remember MJs spider bite on his leg?  It just reminds me of that....   :?

According to court complaint, Michael residence besides LV and LA, is Bahrain. So, MJ must be there. Since MJ wanted to live forever, as he told Bashir,  he could not let himself to die from propofol or other medication overdose. He fears of dying. He is in the middle of filming movie and death, memorial, burial, courts, and investigation are part of it.

There was an article I read on TNZ not TMZ around the end of last year and it had a  cartoon drawing by MJ featuring Paul Mac and Mike pulling a girl  drawn in the style  of Olive Oil from popeye and the heading above was changed from the girl is mine to become the cush is mine.  I'm having trouble finding the article at present, but in their criptic and satirical way, the writers went on to say that the ancient land of Cush is located next to Egypt and went into the troubles that are escallating over there and something about MJ declaring himself the rightful King of the area.  Egypt, King Tut and MJ just made me think of that article again.

At this point, it is important to understand what the Egyptians believed about the spirit of beings. There were three forms of spirits to each being: the akh, ba, and ka. As mentioned above, the akh was the name given to the form that the dead existed in. This form was immortal and unchanging. It is this form that traveled to the underworld. The ba, represented as a human headed bird, was the form released at death. It is often called the soul, incorrectly. It was actually considered a being’s personality or character. Finally, the ka was the form considered to be the double of a being, both spiritually and physically. The ka was created at birth by the god Khnum on his potter’s wheel. The ka could be released in dreams while a being was alive, but was finally released at death. It is symbolized by a pair of upraised arms. At one’s death, the ka and the ba traveled to join each other in the next world. Once this was done, the being could become an akh, and take the form of the dead that existed among the gods.

Egyptian gods carried the ankh by the loop, or held one in each hand crossed over their breast. Latinists interpreted the symbol as a crux ansata, "cross with a handle". "

from MJOne:

The Ankh - Life After Death and This Is It

Michael frequently used symbols in his clothing, such as 7's, crowns, stars, etc. One new symbol we see in This Is It is the Ankh, an Egyption symbol for "life". And not only just "life", but historically the Ankh appears frequently in Egyptian tomb paintings and other art, often at the fingertips of a god or goddess in images that represent the deities of the afterlife conferring the gift of life on the dead person's mummy - life after death.
In the photo stills from This Is It, we see Michael in two different jackets which both include the Ankh symbol:

Even the pose on the This Is It poster bears some resemblance to the Ankh symbol:

A related symbol in Egyptian hieroglyphics is the Djed, which is symbolized with a pillar. In a previous post I mentioned how it appears that MJ's hands in the TII poster are pushing against imaginary pillars.

If you want to take the Eqyptian theme even further, consider the goddess ISIS. ISIS is interesting because images of her hold an Ankh, and her name is within the context of the "This Is It" title. Michael's head is actually right below the "ISIS" in the movie poster.

Just some research on wikipedia will tell you that "Isis was instrumental in the resurrection of Osiris (her brother) when he was murdered by Set. Her magical skills restored his body to life after she gathered the body parts that had been strewn about the earth by Set.This myth became very important in later Egyptian religious beliefs."

On the MJHDI forum, a member named 2good2btrue discovered that during the funeral, the dancers have the ankh on their jackets:

Did Michael study Egyptian history and incorporate that into This Is It? He does have a precedent of incorporating Egyptian images into video, so one more thing for us to ponder...

I'm just going throw in some more connections into the mix. According to Farrakhan, Michael asked Steven Spielberg and someone else about doing a movie on Egypt because he wanted to depict Black people in a positive light but they declined so Michael went out of his own pocket to do Remember The Time video. Perhaps, the video is a preview of what's yet to come with this King Tut movie?

Also, I was thinking about the song, Liberian Girl and how images from that video keep being used (Memorial/Funeral). I am probably stretching here but perhaps he was pointing to Africa as a clue? And now we are finding all this information on King Tut and Egypt, which are all located in Africa.

And I remember Michael saying in an interview with Jesse Jackson how people try to divide Egypt from Africa in the media but that is not true at all, obviously, because Egypt is IN Africa.

This is all so surreal.

The history of ancient Egypt is often falsified. Because in our medias Anciant Egyptians are never described as being Black people. Some people didn't want to portray this important community as black people because they were the first to brought a lot of knowledge to the world.

Translated from http://www.africamaat.com/article.php3?id_article=175 (http://www.africamaat.com/article.php3?id_article=175)

"In 1824, a date of the decoding of hieroglyphs by Champollion, Europe goes out hardly of the XVIIIth century, said "Age of the Enlightenment". The thoughts and the philosophic experiences are openly racist and numerous theories trying to demonstrate the intellectual and moral inferiority of the Blacks conveyed by Hume, Hegel, Hugo, Renan, Gobineau, Cuvier, Kant, serve to justify the transatlantic European slave. In this time(period), the European economy thus bases mainly on the business of African captives deported in Americas.

However, in full slave business, Europe discovers that the people to whom she owes all the elements of the civilization are in fact the Black people ! It is mainly this truth which was hard to admit by all the followers of the Scandinavian races superiority on that of the South. It is still this theory which in the background, distorts the debate because for these last ones, to recognize the African origin of the former(ancient) Egyptians it is to admit their inferiority."

Here is an example with Nefertiti:

This bust is said to be Nefertiti
(http://www.egypte-antique.info/images/falsification-nefertiti.jpg)

Here it's an English reconstitution of Nefertiti from the remains of the mummy:

I have done a lot of reading and searching in this area. The Israelites of the Bible were black-skinned, and were/are the Afro-Americans of the United States (slavery played a big part of the story) and some still in Africa, such as the Ethiopians who have claimed the same and moved to Israel. See the site (I don't agree with everything there) and scroll way down for their many articles of study:

hebrewisraelites.org

There is tons of Biblical, historical (Egyptology included), and archeological evidence for it, and it has been one of the hugest cover-ups in the last 2000 years (all God's plan I believe). I know this might ruffle a lot of feathers, but do you want to keep lies just because they're traditional and popular or actual truth which may take a lot of honest digging.  I found changing thinking a painful process but yields wisdom and ability to connect more big picture dots. I am white myself and come from a strong evangelical background.

Another interesting thing to note was the TIAI link one time to the news about the Ark of the Covenant being revealeld to the world on June 25, 2009. Then when Michael's death news hit it never happened, but the news came from a bonifide church in Etheopia. In a apocryphal book it was written that Jeremich kept the ark hidden in Ethiopia and that it would be revealed in the last days. Coincidence? I think not. Michael portrayed the Pharoah in Remember the Time as a black man, something Hollywood traditionally wouldn't do. The Ankh is such an important symbol of Egypt, showing Michael's wisdom. We are in end times (and/or beginning), I beLIEve, ALL things are coming together, ALL history, ALL people are part of it. Sorry for the diversion, but this topic sparked in my brain. :)

Good evening to everyone!
Don't forget that Elizabeth Taylor also played CLEOPATRA in 1963.
Look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleopatra_VII (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleopatra_VII)
Here it says that her patron goddess was Isis, and thus, during her reign, it was believed that she was the re-incarnation and embodiment of the goddess of wisdom.
I hope this help.
Love you all,my friends.

@MJonmind...I have not heard any news about the Ark of the Covenant being found.  For years it has been speculated that the Ark could be in Ethiopia, however many theologians are not sure it is the original ark for two reasons.  The ark in Ethopia has never been seen as it is highly guarded by an unusual sect of priests.  The second reason is King Solomon was known to make copies of the ark.  At least seven was the last count I heard.  One of them was given to the Queen of Sheba and taken to Africa.  That is the one that many believe is in Ethiopia. There are also claims that Egypt has the Ark of the Covenant, again this one has never been seen.  The prophet Jeremiah is said to have hidden the original Ark of the Covenant in a Cave when Israel was taken into captivity by Babylon.  To this day it has not been recovered.  I would very much like to read the article you are referring to posted by TS.  Can you send me a link?

This is huge news if it is true.

This solar aspect of Osiris is artificial and appears due to considerations of political opportunism. Also is assimilated to Osiris with the Moon since ancient times. From the new documents are easier to interpret and seem to attribute the lunar nature of Osiris along with God and the star destinations: the "suffering" of the murdered King suggest those of the moon on its stages and eclipses, when decreases and disappears, to be reborn at the Moon, along the lines of Osiris. The myth suffers at the same time the influence of the story of the tribulations of the eye of Horus, because the Egyptians often mistook the two eyes of the celestial Falcon, the Sun and the moon. To explain the appearance of the moon changes said Seth, the Prince of darkness, was transformed into a black pig, for example, and swallow the Moon containing the soul of Osiris. Plutarch later also refers in his texts to the lunar destination of Osiris.

And look at this another coincidence ... I'm about to go crazy:

The Circumstances Surrounding the events of Michael and the full moon!
06/25/2009 "Death"
7 fullmoons = 12/31/2009
9 fullmoons = 02/28/2010

07/07/2009 Memorial
7 fullmoons = 01/30/2010
9 fullmoons = 03/30/2010

Burial 09/03/2009
7 fullmoons = 02/28/2010
9 fullmoons = 04/28/2010

999 09/09/2009
7 fullmoons = 30/03/2010
9 fullmoons = 28/05/2010

Also, There are only 2, Which Is Repeat ON 7 and 9 of the Moon in full:

02/28/2010 -> 9 full moons of the "death" and 7 full moons from the funeral:

03/30/2010 -> 9 Moon Completely from memory and 7 from the full Moon 9-09-2009

(9 and 7 from 7.07 from 9.09)

March 30! 30 + 03 + 2010 = 2043 -> 2 4 3 = 9!
Or 3 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 9! 333 nights        Or more 30-03-10 3 +3 +1 = 7

UCLA never did make a statement.  Their website simply says "the family of Michael Jackson made the following statement."  UCLA has stayed totally clear of this hoax.

Also, about King Tut, remember that the pastor at the "Memorial" kept saying, Remember the Time, Remember the Time, Remember the Time, and of course at the of the Egyptian themed video for Remember the Time, Michael disappears.   :D

Africa Remembers Michael Jackson
Thursday, 25 June 2009 23:54    .Many Africans in the diaspora did not believe that Michael Jackson, the King of Pop died. For them, Michael Jackson represented an iconic figure who is immortal. Jackson, who is believed to have died at UCLA Medical Center after being  taken by paramedics from his Bel Air mansion. Many middle aged Africans  grew up while listening and watching the King of Pop.

"We are the World", the song composed by Michael Jackson and Lionel Ritchie aimed at aiding those in need from the African continent. Michael Jackson whom Congolese people affectionately call Mukalai Jean Kasongo visited African countries in the early 90s in a very publicised African tour.

Currently, radio stations like Top Congo FM in Kinshasa, Radio Free Africa in Dar'es'salaam are streaming songs of Michael Jackson while receiving calls from listeners who are talking about how they are already missing Michael Jackson in their lives.
http://www.africamatata.com/index.php?o ... ichael-jac (http://www.africamatata.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=153%3Aafrica-remembers-michael-jac)
This is something that I found to be alittle interesting.  Also, didn't Africa name him the president or King at some point.

This is what I found in Wiki about him being rewarded king title

In his trip to Côte d'Ivoire, Jackson was crowned "King Sani" by a tribal chief.[102] He then thanked the dignitaries in French and English, signed official documents formalizing his kingship and sat on a golden throne while presiding over ceremonial dances.[

This was on his trip to Africa and Egypt.  So fitting how he sat on a golden throne. :D

This is what I found out...

Roland Emmerich was the producer of 2012.. the protagonist's name was Jackson... we remember
In 2004 Michael wanted a meeting with Roland Emmerich because of his new film KING TUT...
Yet, has not been published...

Here a comment on an egyptian forum:
"Oh, here's a hilarious quote from the SF Examiner, from a January article: (2004)
(Trust or don't trust, it's from San Francisco!)

"Hordes of people from all over the world are expected to descend on Santa Maria this week to show support for Michael Jackson as he's arraigned on child molestation charges. ... Did you know that Jackson is obsessed with King Tut, the Egyptian boy king? ... When I was in Hollywood the other day, I learned that Jackson had insisted on a private meeting with director Roland Emmerich, who once expressed an interest in portraying the life of King Tutankhamun on the screen. "I'll do anything to play King Tut," Jackson reportedly told Emmerich. Sensing the director's shock at how his face had been ravaged by plastic surgeries, he added, "I'll even wear appliances." Jackson was apparently referring to where his nose had once been. Tut, tut. ... Jackson also said he's getting acting lessons from his friends, Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando ... Hooray for Hollywood. ... "

And the King TUT film is a SONY production... means maybe that Michael is involved... because of owning a part of SONY

"
The Murder of King Tut
Release Date: TBA Subscribe Send To Friend .
Genres:
Production Phase: Script Stage
Studio: Columbia Pictures
Who's Making It: Roland Emmerich (Director), Sean O'Keefe (Screenwriter), Will Staples (Screenwriter), Robert Patterson [Rumored] (Creator - Writer),
In an article about screenwriters Sean O'Keefe and Will Staples being hired to write a new script for Apaches, Variety mentions that the duo also wrote the script for The Murder of King Tut for Sony Pictures and director Roland Emmerich (10,000 BC).
In our research for this project we weren't able to turn up an announcement of the King Tut project. Is the Sony project based on James Patterson's novel The Murder of King Tut: The Plot to Kill the Child King? Pattinson's novel was published only last month. It seems too coincidental that there are two projects using the same title but until we can confirm Pattinson's book is indeed the source material for the Sony project, it will have to remain as speculation for now."

I am speechless  :o  MJ was definitely a genius. It's been said many times that he loved to read. He obviously studied Egyptian history & mythology. I remember a while ago some people here were saying maybe all things point to Africa. Marlon was in Africa. MJ owns a hotel is Africa. He was obviously fascinated by Egyptians. This is all so insane but in a good way. What if he is portraying King Tut in life? OMG. All of the Egypt connections are blowing my mind. & it's true Egyptians are always portrayed in the media as something other than African. That's why back in the day in movies Cleopatra was always played by a white woman. As well as all other Egyptian Pharaohs, Gods & Goddesses. & when they do shows on the discovery channel, etc & do reenactments & use technology to project what someone might have looked like, they always have European features & fair skin. I agree, it's wrong. Egypt IS a part of African, therefore Egyptians were African. My aunt & her husband are very into Egypt & Egyptians. They have gone there many times & share the same views about how they are often portrayed as non African people. They know a lot about ancient Egypt as well. I find all of this so exciting! The Remember the Time video makes more sense than ever now. I always loved that one because I too went through a phase of being fascinated by Ancient Egypt. Maybe we should look into that video for some clues or interesting things. Wow. That's all I can say. Thanks everyone for the info.

EDIT: I am learning so many things I never knew about MJ before. He was given the title of KING? Wow. & the ANKH, wow. There's so much here, we might be on to something. A BIG something  :o    ;)

But if you read it ALL says:

Quote
Upon arriving at the hospital at approximately 1:14 p.m., a team of doctors, including emergency physicians and cardiologists, attempted to resuscitate him for a period of more than one hour but were unsuccessful.

That´s UCLA saying so. I´m sorry, but it´s what they say.

Mjonmind,
I agree I don't with all that is on the site. I am familiar with Hebrew Isralites.  But no doubt that there are Ethiopian Jews.  If you read the Bible you will see that the entire area is mainly middle Eastern/Meditterean culture(Israel, Iraq,Iran,Egypt(Africa). Ethiopia is mentioned a few times in the scriptures.

This is all soooo very interesting...The whole King Tut thing is fascinating. The thing that sticks out so much is
June 25 - September 3 = 70 days...

Totally planned to perfection!!!!

The pieces are all being removed one by one...

Much like what Kenny O said when he was talking at the beginning of the TII movie where he said the gold (i think) "man" (being Michael) would come out and all the layers would be peeled off one by on revealing....MICHAEL!!!

Good. I don't believe it. Maybe I just don't want to believe it but I don't find it realistic. The whole King Tut references, Egypt connections are mind blowing but the remodeling thing is too extreme. I mean that bust just doesn't seem authentic to me. It seems like just another sick tabloid story. I don't think he remodeled his face to specifically look like anyone. He only fixed his nose & cleft anyways. No surgery on the eyes, jawline, chin shape, mouth, etc. So technically he didn't "remodel" his face.    & that article someone posted about the fans meeting outside the courthouse or whatever. Has a very rude, sarcastic tone. I don't like it at all. & the way it says he was obsessed with King Tut & goes on to mention "the BOY king". Grrr  :x

No, I don't believe he modeled his face to like King Tut but the similarities are amazing.  Not just the face but all the other coincidental information.  Michael was fascinated with King Tut and Egyptian history.  Could be he formed his hoax around this.

I don't think he looked like king tut and I don't think he would have acted the role.  MJ told his nephew and has mentioned it before in interviews that his next step is directing movies.  It's easier to believe MJ was going to make his directing debut rather than take the lead role...as for looking like king tut...I don't think so...(http://pun.org/josh/archives/king_tut.jpg)

One of the best threads! Thoughts I got while reading all this exciting development with the King Tut connection.
Michael changed his nose because his Dad called him Big Nose, his Dad had a wide nose and MJ didn't want to look like him. His Mom and sisters have a narrow nose and I think he wanted to look more like his mom.

In the memorial the song sung so reverantly was, "Soon and very soon we are going to see the King, Soon and very soon we are going to see the King, Soon and very soon we are going to see the King, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, we are going to see the King.
(2nd verse) No more crying there, we are going to see the King... (Yeah all the people who thought he was dead, but not us!!)

Here is the link to the TIAI link about the Ark  --  47. (Dec 19) Ark of the Covenant: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ark_of_the_Covenant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ark_of_the_Covenant)

I likd the comment from Onelove, something about King of Egypt, King of Africa, and King of the World!!  It's going to be big, BIG I tell ya!!

Finally do you remember the thread about David Blaine where these girls visited him and he seemed to cryptically say Michael had some connection to this huge pyramid he had in his back yard. Then recently on TMZ there was a strange story about I can't remember the moviestars name, but he had a pyramid built for future place for his body. Is TMZ putting thoughts of pyramids in our heads?

I agree, there are some connections & similarities here between MJ, King Tut, Egypt. I do think MJ loved Ancient Egyptian History though. He in fact did buy a replica of King Tuts sarcophagus, why else would he do that unless he was into Egypt & found King Tut interesting? I myself find Ancient Egypt fascinating, always have. Whenever they do those discovery channel shows & talk about all the mysteries surrounding the tombs & the pharoahs, etc. I find it so interesting. Plus some of the things they believed in & their knowledge, all of that stuff is interesting as well. So he probably read up on Egyptian history, etc. & learned enough about it to be fascinated. However, I don't think he was "obsessed" with King Tut, just intrigued. It's pretty apparent he was either into Egypt & Egyptian history or he just read enough about them that he used some influences from what he knew for certain things like his music video, the Ankh symbol on his jackets, etc. I think it's that he was into it though. I don't think he "remodeled" his face. I don't think that so called buff is really of King Tut but something digitally tweeked to resemble MJ. & the King Tut obsession was put into that article because King Tut was a young boy/teenager & they are trying to make it seem like MJ was an obsessed freak who went out to have his face resemble a dead King, who he was obsessed with because he was a BOY.    :x I also am not sure about him imitating it with his hoax. For the AR, yeah maybe he used some details to put in there, but idk that's kind of silly? He probably originally wanted to play King Tut when he first mentioned wanting to make a movie about King Tut, however it never got picked up & made. Now he is too old to play a boy, so perhaps now he will direct it  ;)  Making me wonder who he would cast for the lead role...Btw, the song "Soon & very soon, we are going to see the King" is a traditional gospel song, I went to a funeral for a relative two weeks ago. It was on my Samoan side (all Christians), & they call a funeral a "home going ceremony" where they believe that their loved one is going home to the home of the Lord (the King). So when they sing that song it means that the person is going to see the King soon when they are home in his kingdom. It's very common for that song to be sung at funerals. There's nothing there IMO. I mean there could be, but I doubt it.

Born as Ankhesenpaaten, she was the third of six known daughters of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten  and his Great Royal Wife Nefertiti, and became the Great Royal Wife of her (half-)brother Tutankhamun.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ankhesenamun (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ankhesenamun)

Out of interest Ankhesenamun was the name of the mummy's girlfriend in the film "The Mummy" who he tried to bring back to life

And the law of synchronicity is playing again! I was surprised to see King Tut on the cover of my September National Geography magazine, the title of the article is "King Tut's DNA, unlocking Family secrets".  With all the recent DNA discussions, be it the Mocienne or the Eliza story, this made me smile.  I am sure this is purely a coincidence but still ....

I believe we should honor these ancient dead and let them rest in peace.

There are some secrets of the pharaohs, however, that can be revealed only by studying their mummies. By carrying out CT scans of King Tutankhamun's mummy, we were able in 2005 to show that he did not die from a blow to the head, as many people believed. Our analysis revealed that a hole in the back of his skull had been made during the mummification process. The study also showed that Tutankhamun died when he was only 19—perhaps soon after he suffered a fracture to his left leg. But there are mysteries surrounding Tutankhamun that even a CT scanner cannot reveal. Now we have probed even deeper into his mummy and returned with extraordinary revelations about his life, his birth, and his death.

This thread is fascinating. Great job, really! There are too many clues here, can't be all coincidences. For example MJ's jackets in TII...that has to mean something! It'll also be interesting to see the movie King Tut come out, together with Cirque, both due in 2012 (remember "we have 4 years" in TII). Very interesting! Keep the faith  ;)
