Some serious progress is being made on the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil project -- TMZ has learned two Executive Producers have been selected ... and one of 'em has a tie with Elvis.
The powers that be at Cirque have tapped one guy to run the permanent Vegas show and another guy to E.P. the traveling arena show.
The guy in charge of the tour is Charles Joron -- the same dude who oversaw that awesome Elvis-themed Cirque du Soleil show.
As we first reported, the tour will begin in the Fall of 2011 and travel throughout North America.

Ok first thing - one of them has a tie with Elvis. Which we could easily say is Michael Jackson.
Another thing...when they used E.P for "Executive Producers" - were they using initials to hint at Elvis Prelsey..and then to make us think of MJ. The most famous person who is known for their initials.

For some time there is much in all this that remind us of Elvis, one of which was the scene on the plane and Michael comes in and says goodbye, and designer Michael Cotten suddenly says, "It's the old cliche: Elvis has left the place. "
It is said that this was a sign for fans of Elvis, the show was over and was saying goodbye. 8-)
