Actually, the guy was in great shape contrary to what everyone was on raconte.bien very thin, but we must not forget that he was a dancer, he was thoroughly in preparation for his concert and really ready I crois.ce happened is just sad, I can just tell you that the guy was very happy to be back on stage.

Didn't Mike rent it from Audigier? I thought that was the case, but I'm not sure.

This is what TMZ had to report about it:

Michael Jackson -- The New Kevin Bacon
Originally posted Dec 23rd 2008 11:05 PM PST by TMZ Staff

Michael Jackson has not just leased a $100,000 a month mansion -- by making the deal he's created a connection with Justin Timberlake, Ed Hardy, "Baywatch" and "Dancing with the Stars."

Here's the deal. As we first reported, Jackson inked the deal for the Holmby Hills mansion several weeks ago. The place is owned by the Guez living trust, managed by Hubert Guez, a textile magnate who is the newly named CEO of Ed Hardy. Now here's where the plot thickens. Jacko made a rare public appearance last May at the 50th birthday party of Christian Audigier, the famous Ed Hardy designer.

But wait, there's more. Hubert Guez has a brother, Paul, who ran a massive textile company with him. Paul has a son, Danny, who started a clothing line with Justin Timberlake, called William Rast.

But the story isn't over. Paul's other son, David, is an actor, but he doesn't use his dad's last name. Rather, David uses his mom's maiden name -- Charvet. Yes, the same David Charvet who was on "Baywatch" and is engaged to Brooke Burke.

Kevin Bacon, eat your heart out.

Audigier doesn't own the property...he never bought it. He said he was going to in the months after June 25, and then he changed his mind. It was reported online in multiple sources (which are still findable using Google) that Audigier never bought the Holmby Hills house.

Exactly. He was supposed to buy the house and make it a sort of museum for fans but then he changed his mind. I saw him live on a french talk show, he has been asked if he was buying the house or noT and he simply said he was not gonna buy it anymore...but he didnt gave any reasons for his sudden change of mind.
I found it odd on the moment and was wondering, then later I thought maybe in between he has heard about the hoax...who knows?

Hi - I thought I'd continue a conversation that was started in a thread that is now locked.

This is about who owns the Holmby Hills home where Michael supposedly died. I suggested in that thread that if Coke is a sponsor then perhaps Ed Hardy is also involved in the hoax and the connection is Christian Audigier.

Christian Audigier licensed the rights to produce the Ed Hardy clothing line in 2004. So, their business connection starts in 2004.

Christian Audigier does not own the home but according to online sources Hubert Guez, CEO of Ed Hardy does.

Yes, $29 million is still a lot, but it is reportedly $10 million less than Hubert Guez, CEO of the Ed Hardy brand, was asking for the home when he originally tried to sell it in 2008. Michael Jackson was leasing the house from Guez for $100,000 per month.

According to RealEstalker.com, Guez had recently tried to rent out the property for $300,000 per month, but ultimately decided he wanted to just sell it.

The mansion, which was completed in 2002, is modeled after a French chateau. The mansion is 17,171 square feet with a total of 1.26 acres of gated grounds. The home has seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. Features include 12 fireplaces, an elevator, art studio, media/music room, and wine cellar and tasting room, a gym and spa facilities, a seven-car garage, maid’s quarters, a pool, expansive gardens, a detached guest house and more.

Michael attended Christian's 50th birthday party in June 2008. It was within a couple of months that Michael supposedly rented the Holmby Hills home.

It's my thought that maybe in exchange for using the Holmby Hills home (which apparently was up for sale in the months before then) Michael agreed that he, his children, and others would advertise by wearing the Ed Hardy clothing.

Thoughts?
