Star feared he had heart condition, cancer and brain tumour
ILLNESS FEARS: Michael Jackson

By James Desborough, US Editor, 22/08/2010

PARANOID Michael Jackson believed he suffered heart attacks and had cancer and brain tumours in the six months before he died.

The hypochondriac King of Pop even thought he had HYPOTHERMIA and FROSTBITE - in sunny Los Angeles.

But his delusions were caused by his mind and body being ravaged by his addiction to prescription drugs and painkillers, according to aides.

One said: "He was a mental wreck and always felt he had a disease. He was terrified of the sun as it irritated his vitiligo (skin condition) prompting him to claim he had cancer and brain tumours.

"At other times he said he was freezing cold and might have frostbite. On reflection his body and mind were just wrecked by drug use."

Jacko also complained of suffering heart attacks leading up to his death in June last year. That's why he hired cardiologist Conrad Murray, who appears in a US court tomorrow charged with involuntary manslaughter as the case nears trial.

Murray's defence will argue Jacko hid the full extent of his pill-popping from him. But today we can reveal family friend and prosecution witness Terry Harvey will challenge this.

Terry, who first told the world that Jacko's death at 50 was from an overdose of painkiller Propofol, said: "I discovered Murray knew about Michael's drug problems for a long time.

"Michael was a drug-addicted wreck and complained for months about being too ill to perform his shows."

Terry, 50, who uncovered the revelations while researching for his book The KIlling Of The KIng Of Pop, added: "I expect at Murray's trial all those secret things I have discovered will come to the fore."

Jacko's skin specialist Arnold Klein will also claim Murray was aware of the singer's drug intake. He gave Jacko regular jabs of the painkiller Demerol for face fillers and Murray even booked Jacko's appointments.

Another source added: "If you are hired as a round-the-clock medic your job is to know what your patient is taking."

If any of this is true, then it certainly points some fingers at AEG,Ortega, DeLeo, the insurance contract where it states he was in good health,  and the rest of the crew who has stated several times that MJ was in great shape, wanted to do the 50 shows, etc. etc.  In that case they are ALL liars.

He is labeled as Hypochondriac and paranoid in that article. Where are we leading up to?

And brain tumor, cancer, lung condition, heart condition etc has been discussed in the visions thread  :?

If MJ feared either he really had it or,
he thought he had it and.. somatized the symptoms up to the extent of really suffering from it?

News of the world is not a good source to trust, or is it?

Exactly. Until you hear it from Michael's mouth, don't buy into these embellished stories.

I think its interesting.. i dont know what the validity is of the claim that this source was the one to leak that Propofol was the cause...  but at least its a named source instead of anonymous

This is very confusing, what is real and what is a lie? can anyone let us know, because if everything it has been written about MJ is all BS, well than we shouldn't read anything anymore. Right now I do not believe anything else. I know with drug usage, yes you do feel all those symptoms. My best friend was on drugs and that's how she felt. She felt everyone was after her,(paranoid)  she has all the sickness in the world, her brain wasn't functioning properly. Thank God she went for help and now she lives a happy life. I know he was an anti drug person, he preached that drugs are not the answer. Is it possible he was an addict??

Please be sure to check out the picture of Michael that accompanies this article....I think all of your concerns about him will be fully addressed.

Just because you read it in a magazine or see it on a TV screen don't make it factual...actual.

Someone is cracking up allright...from laughter.

Peace!

He does not look very sad he looks troubled, he looked scared, worried, they say a picture is worth 1000 words.  Unless this was all part of his hoax. He had to show he was sick  the past six months so his hoax would have been real to the public. If he showed he was in good health his hoax wouldn't stand. we wouldn't believe it.  This situation can go both ways, he was on drugs and he dilusional, or it was part of his game.(HOAX)

don't know what to make out of this-either this leads to the hoax or Michael was really in a terrible state, i tend to believe the first one, esp. when the auther mentioned that MJ thought he was not able to do those 50 shows, i hope he was able to get over it and now he's ok. At the same time this article can be  BS, don't know what to believe anymore

JackO also complained about suffering heart attacks prior to his death in June of last year. Therefore, Conrad Murray, who appears in Court tomorrow charged with manslaughter, as the case comes to trial us hired cardiologist

How many heart attacks? .. garbage

"Michael was a drug-addicted wreck and complained for months about being too ill to perform his shows."

Well, other people including Jermaine told that Michael is very healthy.

That's what stands out to me. Yes, 6 months before his death there was that magazine reporting that he had 6 months to live; then there was that radio station with the hoax thing, also 6 months before June 25. I see this last reference to the 6 month period as confirmation that a 'disinformation' campaign was set up by MJ so that it would be public knowledge that he was real sick -so all the alleged drug related problems would make sense after June 25th.

And it's News of the World...LOL

Yeah, it is wierd.

I saw on the front of the enquirer today that Michael Douglas has less than 12 months left.

Its sad, but it made me think of when they wrote that about MJ and it became the truth...

But Michael Douglas has throat cancer, it's probably a medical assumption... But how would they know MJ would die in 6 months? He didn't have any life threatening disease for them to "assume" that.

This is total BS I dont believe a word of it for one second. And if it's true I don't believe it's as extreme as they make it seem. Too many other people have spoken positively about Michael and his health. And Michael himself in this is it seems very happy and very healthy.

I don't believe a word of what's printed in the press anymore, most of it is made-up and based on either half-truths or total lies.  The number of crazy rumours surrounding MJ his whole life is now working in hs favour as there have been so many stories that everyones confused and assuming there's no point asking questions as no-one knows the truth.  In the article (and News of the World has run so many crazy stories it's amazing we even bother to read them!) Murray's awareness of the drug-addiction is supposedly apparent because Klein says that he even booked appointments for MJ to see Klein.  I thought Murray was only working for Michael for 11 days?  How many appointments was he likely to have made to see Klein during that time frame and with rehearsals in full swing?  Again, something doesn't add up. As someone who suffers from an anxiety disorder I can understand him experiencing symptoms like palpitations, chest pains and and dizziness etc but if he was taking all the anxiety medication he would've been aware that the anxiety was most likely responsible, he would have researched his condition.  Anxiety disorders are often misunderstood as hypochondria by those around the sufferer.  That's the only possible half-truth I can see here.

No offense, but I can't believe some of you are still reading stuff like "News of the World"!  Remember how Michael hated tabloids, and urged us not to read them?  What happened to that message?

I'm gonna dissect this article a bit:

"Murray's defence will argue Jacko hid the full extent of his pill-popping from him. But today we can reveal family friend and prosecution witness Terry Harvey will challenge this."

Family friend?!  Seriously?  Talking to this tabloid?  Have we heard of him before?

"Terry, who first told the world that Jacko's death at 50 was from an overdose of painkiller Propofol, said: "I discovered Murray knew about Michael's drug problems for a long time."

Autopsy report: "acute Propofol intoxication"
What overdose?  And Propofol is no painkiller - it's an anesthetic.

"Michael was a drug-addicted wreck and complained for months about being too ill to perform his shows."

No comment, because I believe Michael did complain about some things... But the "drug-addicted wreck" isn't quite true.

"Terry, 50, who uncovered the revelations while researching for his book The KIlling Of The KIng Of Pop, added: "I expect at Murray's trial all those secret things I have discovered will come to the fore.""

Prosecution witness, family friend, AND in the process of writing a book?  Yeah, I totally believe this guy.

Just food for thought:

Can you imagine a hypochondriac MJ
- leaving his house at all?
- raising his children and spending his time with them?
- singing and dancing? Resp. being ABLE to do that?

Well, I can't.
