Dr. Conrad Murray Ties One On

7 minutes ago by TMZ Staff

Dr. Conrad Murray stopped to have breakfast in downtown Los Angeles before heading to court today for the first day of his preliminary hearing in the Michael Jackson manslaughter case.

They should throw the book at him ... for wearing that tie.

Such a coincidence that the National Photo Group is ALWAYS the one who has exclusive Murray pics. Lucky bastards!
I can't help it, but that Murray looks so familiar.

And TMZ is right, that tie is just horrific!

That's what I was wondering also. Is his makeup running?

The tie is a paisley print. Purple...

Peace

That tie has some hoax colors!

he looks so much more in shape (if you will) not like what we say on the beach. why does this photo make me think of the michael one with the red jacket that he is buttoning and he looks so broad shouldered in it and buffed up (is that the correct term?)

"I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be shrewd as serpents and as innocent as doves."

Why not just tell people I'm an alien from Mars? Tell them I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight. They'll believe anything you say, because you're a reporter. But if I, Michael Jackson, were to say, "I'm an alien from Mars and I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight," people would say, "Oh, man, that Michael Jackson is nuts. He's cracked up. You can't believe a single word that comes out of his mouth."

Did (Ben) the photographer just catch his left hand in that weird gyration?  Are his hands two different colors/shades?

Maybe NPG took this photo the same day they took the "Murray at the beach" photos...

I apologize beforehand, but I just had to check this out -- Spiritual Meaning of the Paisley.
(http://applesofgold.com/jewelryblog/tag ... e-paisley/)
Here is the info on that link.

Paisley
Resembling a twisted tear-drop, kidney shape, or elongated comma, the paisley design is of Persian and Indian origin, but the modern name, “paisley” is of Scottish descent, made fashionable in Europe by the town of Paisley in Central Scotland.

Spiritual meaning of the Paisley
The paisley design is rich in spiritual and symbolic meaning. In India, the paisley signified the time of harvest, a time of both socio-economic and spiritual significance.

In Eastern religions, the two paisleys are reminiscent of the yin-yang, the interaction of two polar energies of which encompasses creation.

Some scholars also believe the paisley is a convergence of a floral spray and the ancient cypress tree of the Middle East–a spiritually rich tree that is often found in the pages of the Bible.

Noah’s ark, for example, was made with cypress wood: “So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out” (Genesis 6:14). The cypress was also a symbol of holiness and aesthetic beauty: “The glory of Lebanon will come to you, the pine, the fir and the cypress together, to adorn the place of my sanctuary; and I will glorify the place of my feet” (Isaiah 60:13).

Royal Insignia and Artwork
The paisley also had its origins in royal design; In the Safavid dynasty of Persia of the 16th and 17th century, the paisley floral motif  was a popular pattern used to decorate royal insignias, crowns, and court garments–and was later prevalent in Persian carpets, embroidery, and jewelry.

The paisley design quickly made its way into Europe through Indian imports, including in England, France, and Scotland, where the paisley derived its modern name.

Modern Influence
The paisley design saw a heavy resurgence in modern times with the advent of the 60s psychodelic culture and interest in Indian spirituality and culture, which was made popular by the Beatles pilgrimage to India in 1968.

Today, fashion and design has reached far back into Mid-East and European  history to resurrect the beauty, depth of meaning, and royal floral paisley pattern.

Paisley Wedding Bands are a fashionable statement for wedding bands that are not only full of historical significance and meaning, but are simply beautiful and enduring.

I really hope this Murray is MJ in disguise!  :?

I can't understand how can someone think it's Michael in disguise when seeing Murray standing. I would at least understand the suspicion when he's sitting, but standing this man is 6'3'', Michael is 5'11. Don't tell me that he can disguise the height too. I'm sorry but it's absurd.

I don't know his height on documents, but I can appreciate it, and that man is huge. He's at least 6'3" if not even a bit taller.
