I was 50/50 about a comeback, but lately I'm leaning more towards the idea he wont. Sometimes I think of myself as selfish in hopes that he will, but now I think differently. He has given so much to the fans and to the world over the decades with his music and humanitarian work and I think the time for him to be free has been long overdue and he truly deserves it. If anything I think it's time to give back by respecting his freedom and continuing to spread his message of L.O.V.E. Awesome post Liberian Girl, that was a great find! Happy Holidays to everyone!

Boy, I have to say I personally disagree about him doing all of this for the purpose of freedom. Yes, he has been through the shit, and fuck knows how he felt about the media punching him in the face like that with all their ludicrous stories. But doesn't he live and breath music? Didn't he mention he wanted to move onto other projects (making movies)? I doubt he could do that in hiding?! Michael found freedom in his music and put his all into it because that's his LIFE. But hey, that's just my own input.

I don't know if he was planning to make a hoax death when he sang this song with Paul but I'm pretty sure that he used the lyrics of this song at the memorial on purpose because it fits with his situation so perfectly.

I agree with you Bec! He'll be back. Look at the facts: do you think he would choose to fake his death after not only announcing but only weeks ahead performing his concerts, after giving hope to his fans with the comeback? This is cruel! He could have done it before, when all was quiet.
On the other hand, do you think he's happy and feeling free knowing he hurt so many people who love him, reading of all the hurt....I don't know!
If he is indeed alive, he'll be back WHEN he is ready! This may not be when we expect him to be!

I know how you are feeling. ''The Man'' was my favourite MJ song when I was 14... It was when I rediscovered Michael and when I was obsessed with him.. I remember hearing this song in spring time so everytime I hear it today it symbolises spring and better times. Its bitter sweet and I remember seeing the text ''Im alive and Im here forever'' and I remember thinking immediately that the text was taken from his song.. Personally my favourite song. Bittersweet. We miss him so much.
