Thank you for posting this video mjintrigue2012.
I think it is spot on!  M Al Fayed is a Friend of Michael and the untimely death of Lady Diana and Dodi in the hands of Paparazzi (Or Establisment interferences) in 1997 would have strengthened their friendship.
M Al Fayed chose to do this in support of Michael.  He is not afraid of controversy and he created it! Great Man! The 3rd April was the RIGHT DAY - Paris (& Dodo  :D ) Birthday! Lady Diana died in Paris and it is conveniently 50 days to the 22nd May.

"Let us dream of tomorrow where
we can truly love from the soul, and
know love as the ultimate truth at
the heart of all creation."

This is so nice. :)
Better than that other statue...

أملي هو فيكم.

Do you not find the placement of these statues out in the public arena at this precise time to be a bit peculiar? After all, Michael supposedly has been gone for nearly 2 years. Where is the respect in that???? Well, ....I suspect it all has to do with timing. And, something detestable that sparks controversy will generate conversation and travel much more quickly then something that is simply aesthetically pleasing to the eye. This is another maneuver to generate hype, energy, name recognition. You are correct, there is something much more deeply going on here than what you see with the naked eye----so far beyond a couple mere statues. It is a very deeply convoluted marketing plan. Michael has it planned out---he is no fool and you will all see that, come as it may. You and I can see how deplorable in taste the one statue is and the other, quite simply, isn't a very close resemblance to MJ. We, of course, can see that and we are questioning it.  However, before long.....the non-believers should start questioning the oddity/absurdity in it as well.  Let's see how long it takes them.
