Judge grants Jermaine Jackson's ex-wife to stay in Jackson family compound for now

A Los Angeles judge has granted Jermaine Jackson's ex-wife Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza to remain at the Jackson family’s California compound.

The judge also set a trial date on Tuesday to decide whether or not she can be rightfully evicted, reports TMZ.

Oaziaza, who was also once married to Jermaine’s brother Randy, has been fighting to stay at the mansion with her children after executors requested a court order to have her removed.

Oaziaza has been living at the compound for nearly 20 years.

She and Jermaine have two sons, Jaafar, 15, and 11-year-old Jermajesty. The couple filed for divorce in 2004.

According to TMZ, Oaziaza refused the executors’ offer of a condo in move-in condition when she refused to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Estate lawyer Howard Weitzman told the celebrity site that Oaziaza demanded money in addition to the condo and is in the process of selling a tell-all book.

Oaziaza has accused Michael Jackson’s executors of attempting to force her out of the house by cutting off the gas to the property, changing the locks and threatening to fumigate the home while she and her children were in it.

She claims that the executors have no legal right to throw her out because her former sister-in-law LaToya Jackson signed a joint tenancy agreement with the King of Pop before his death, making LaToya the true owner of the home.

But TMZ discovered documents from the Los Angeles County Recorder showing that Michael and his business manager are co-owners of the property.

Opening arguments are scheduled to be heard on April 14
