Soul Train Humanitarian Award
March 18, 2011, 11:59:51 PM
Does anybody know why MJ did not get up from the chair while doing this performance?   Just seemed so odd.  Looks like he really wants to get up and dance while performing, Do you remember the times.  But instead, he just performs it  while sitting in a chair.

He broke his foot in two places, if I remember the story correct. He was probably in a lot of pain but did the performance anyway. I loved the performance with him in the chair and it did look like he really wanted to get up but his foot told him otherwise. It's videos like this that prove to me that MJ was no wimp when it came to pain.

Blessings :)

I'm proud to be a child of God and a member of MJ's Army of L.O.V.E.

Brilliant! Thanks for posting MeAndMyShadow. That man has more rhythm, musicality and dancability in his little finger than I have in my whole body! Love it!

Thanks for this video... I LOVE it!!!  It's amazing to see him in restraint energy busting all over his body.  He looked wonderful...smiling, lucid...  I did wonder why he kept wiping his upper lip A LOT, unless it's extremely HOT...  It's not the boxer wipe often, with the side of his hand...
oooh what an amazing human

Exactly, he broke his foot.I lauged when I saw this performance.Michael had so much trouble to stay in that chair .He really wanted to dance and it must have been hard for him .But still he couldn't hold back for a few seconds and stand up twice to dance, sort of.

I thought he must have done something like that, but I thought perhaps it was when he hurt his back.  Wonder what he did to break his foot?  Anybody know?  Probably practicing.  I loved this.  He must have been in torture, wanting to dance and couldn't.  But as always, he gave his all.  God I love him and miss him so much!!!

Well, I got my ticket to the Immortal tour.  Do you think it's possible (since this is a hoax) that he will show up on this tour?  I believe it starts AFTER the Murray trial.  I think BAM will have to be after that.  Just not sure if he will be doing this though.  In any case, I am excited, even though the show I am going to isn't until 2012.
