Barely Legal -- Good Enough for Conrad Murray

Barely Legal -- Good Enough for Conrad Murray
3/30/2011 6:23 AM PDT by TMZ Staff

A good defense team always telegraphs subtle messages to potential jurors, and Dr. Conrad Murray did just that yesterday in Santa Monica.

As his lawyers were in downtown L.A. picking a jury that will decide if he is criminally responsible for the death of Michael Jackson, Dr. Murray proudly sported the number 18 -- the magic number that makes people barely legal.

Barely legal is all it should take to get an acquittal.

Who knew, the best jury consultants in town were Abercrombie and Fitch?

Being the investigator that I'm suppose to be...I ask you, is TMZ once again..
#1 the opportune photographer on the scene...
#2 leaving a clue in the #18
#3 leaving the clue in the words "leaving subtle messages"
#4 leaving messages in the words "barely legal"
#5 magic number?

Just asking...

Oh.....TMZ.......!
Here is a Wikipedia for the number 18......the link:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/18_(number)

and what I found interesting:
In religion and literature

The Hebrew word for "alive" is חי (chai), which has a numerical value of 18. Consequently, the custom has arisen in Jewish circles to give donations and monetary gifts in multiples of 18 as an expression of blessing for long life.
In Judaism, in the Talmud; Pirkei Avot (5:25), Rabbi Yehudah ben Teime gives the age of 18 as the appropriate age to get married ("Ben shmonah esra lechupah", at eighteen years old to the Chupah (marriage canopy)). (See Coming of age, Age of majority).
In Ancient Roman custom the number 18 can symbolise a blood relative.
Joseph Heller's novel Catch-22 was originally named Catch-18 because of the Hebrew meaning of the number, but was amended to the published title to avoid confusion with another war novel, Mila 18.[1]
There are 18 chapters in the Bhagavad Gita, which is contained in the Mahabharata, which has 18 books. The Kurukshetra War which the epic depicts, is between 18 armies (11 on the Kuru side, 7 on the Pandava).
18 is on the right palm of the right hand in Arabic.

There is more I am sure...but just had to post that quickly for the  :o factor!
Back to reading up on 18!
Blessings!

PS> I am wondering what's on page 18 of the autopsy report, maybe? Or some other document we have seen????

maybe "leaving subtle messages" in the word  "fitch"  as close to "fetch" as  is close to "get" or "pick"...
conclusion pick jury member number 18 ????

Remember that photo of Sam Gossen with Karen Faye and some other girls..  she had a T-Shirt on of the same make and someone had photoshopped the "Fitch" on her top to re-spell something else?

Just reminded me of that.

P.S. - is age of consent 18 in USA?    Thats quite high.  In UK its 16.

Well, to me Number 18 is interesting because 8-1=7 which is Michael's number and also 8+1=9 which was another important number for the hoax. Making 666 upside down and make it 999. So 18 both makes 7 and 9 which are important numbers in this hoax.

"I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be shrewd as serpents and as innocent as doves."

Why not just tell people I'm an alien from Mars? Tell them I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight. They'll believe anything you say, because you're a reporter. But if I, Michael Jackson, were to say, "I'm an alien from Mars and I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight," people would say, "Oh, man, that Michael Jackson is nuts. He's cracked up. You can't believe a single word that comes out of his mouth."

Maybe Juror #18 could be Michael?? I stated this on the other post that I have a feeling that Michael will be in the jury.

I cross-referenced this video from Esprit467 under the "Tyne Stecklein in New Old Navy Commercial" thread due to parallel between Old Navy and Ambercrombie and Fitch.

Great video and Thankyou to Esprit467!

Nice loafers Connie!

I'm sorry, but again Connie reminds me of MJ in this picture. Before anyone jumps on me: I do not see that in EVERY picture of him, just sometimes. It's something about the eyes and the mouth. Either Mike sometimes puts on the Connie suit and mask, or Connie is related to him, but they resemble each other a lot in my opinion.

Curious, yesterday i was doing a little research and ended up seeing this pic where one can read "Barely Legal".

This is an adult publication and Michael was criticized by some people for having porn magazines at home. May be some relation with this recent Murray´s article?

On “barely legal”  I found this:

Video on Trial (season 3)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The third season of the Canadian television comedy series Video on Trial premiered on MuchMusic on August 12, 2007 and concluded on August 11, 2008. It consists of 26 episodes.

[edit] Episodes
The show uses a courtroom-style format: each episode usually consists of five music videos being "tried" by five different people, usually comedians, musicians, and entertainment columnists, acting as the "jurors". From the first to mid-fifth seasons, the end of each episode featured a final "verdict" given to each video being "tried".
Starting with the 19th episode of the third season (Episode 3.19), the show introduced new graphics; these new graphics continued until the 21st episode of the fifth season (Episode 5.21).
This list is arranged in the order in which the episodes were broadcast, and does not include spin-off "specials" (such as Stars on Trial). The list contains the air dates, episode numbers, "accused" music videos, and "jurors" of each episode of the season.

I don't get that, seriously... I would be concerned if a guy did NOT have porn SOMEWHERE in his house or on his computer. They are guys, that's what they have  Why would Mike be any different?

It's hypocrite that they make an elephant out of a mosquito in the US when it comes to porn and nudity, while it has the biggest porn industry in the world.
