Same goes for email addresses, but you can to change your profile settings yourself if you want to hide it. Maybe I can set it as default, but I have to get used to the new admin board too, so bear with me. If you don't want it to be seen by others, change it.

I do so but nothing happened. My setting is "send me emails - NO" - but still the adress is shown. I hope you can change this in the admin settings.

It only shows for you and me, not other members. I can't seem to set it as default, you all have to change it yourself in your profile settings. Same as the current time.

I am making a few different layouts so that you all can pick the best suitable for you. Plus I have to find a new mobile one.

Little more patience please.

Seems that the theme did not allow users to hide their email addresses, so I set it to another theme. Boring maybe, but for now it works perfectly.

I will update on the rest later.

Go to unread posts, which is the same as the list you got at the phpbb forum, then click on the 'new' button.

Thanks, easier to maneuver now.  I DO like the blue background too, easy on the eyes, whether it's permanent or not, nice for now.  It's all coming together nicely, of course.  Wish I coulda been some help.  Great job...

loved that button. is it possible to get that back. i see you got back the new post one.
and the all my posts, so you can go back to where you posted and not get lost lol.

oops, spoke too soon. Problem is back with this new layout. Cache addon displays 0.4MB/27MB RAM cache, 455.7MB/1500MB.

Click 'unread posts since last visit' on top next to your avatar, and you will get a list with the active topics that have new posts in them. In that list you see the new button next to the thread title.

Interesting. Apparently if I come here under a proxy, it works just fine. Default proxy I can only read 2 replies and the rest of the page doesn't load. Different proxy=no problems.

in the "unread posts since last visit" section - is it possible to include the original date that a subject was started - for example under subject it lists the subject title followed by "started by (screen name)  in (forum subject)".  this would help me to determine if the subject is new material or old news.  Thank you ~ the site looks great!

One other question. How do you find the threads that you've posted in? (other than show new replies to your posts) For instance, I read your response in this thread, then went back to the index board. Then I wanted to respond to this thread, but it no longer showed up when I clicked on "new replies", because I had already read it.  I had to click back several times on my browser to find it. Does that make sense?

I understand that you can search for key words, but often times I don't know the exact name of the thread to do a search. Thank you for your patience in helping us get familiar with the new forum.

Never mind....I see if you just click home....then all the latest threads are there.
