They're family. Fights, disaggrements, arguments always happen among family members. They can get mad at each other or even hate each other but sooner or later they forgive each other. And someone like Michael who loves his family a lot, I'm sure that he forgave his brother long time ago. So who are we to make negative comments about Jermaine? Michael loves his brother and so do I.

It is a very catchy song. All the Jacksons are extremely talented. The video calling attention to the Wiz seems like a good theory.

Jermaine sounds great! May be this video is just meant to show us Jermaine is doing fine and having fun to perform, he's shining.
IF there's more to it, then I'm thinking of 'Blame it on the boogie' and the slang definition of 'boogie' which is [dot]'to leave'[/dot]. This could mean Michael has 'left' us or that the Jackson brothers left Motown in 1978 (except Jermaine), Motown connection can be a clue, just a thought

Eleanor Rigby by the Beatles has been remade 132 times.

Mary J. Blige re-recorded hits by Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan and Rolls Royce.

D’Angelo re-recorded Smokey Robinson’s hit “Crusin.” 

Christina Aguilera, Mya, Pink and Lil Kim all re-recorded Patti Labelle’s “Lady Marmalade.” 

The Animals re-recorded Sam Cooke’s “Bring It On Home To Me.”
