I get what you are saying with billie jean...makes sense.  With this in mind, the lyric."just remember to always think twice"  I see him warning future entertainers to think twice before they decide to take on the music industry and the public.   "I could smell her sweet perfume...it happened rather soon"  It's true, the industry and fans call to you and it is intoxicating.  You cant just leave stardom behind.  "be careful what you do before the lie become the truth"  That is a prophecy for MJ!  Isn't that true!  The lie of him being a ped...(I can't even type the sick word) became the truth over night!

I think the gangs in 'beat it' could be the powers that be the ones that you don't see and the ones that you do. The socialistic drug dealers and the media or greedy wolves in sheep clothing and stalkers.

Re: Stripping the lyrics
February 03, 2010, 01:46:10 PM
I lived through a Beat It situation. A gang member stole my sisters bike/ 10 speed, and when I came home from college on my summer break of '97  I couldn't believe it, so, while I was outside at about 8pm no particular night I thought I saw a guy about my age 18, on a 10 speed that looked like my sisters bike, which was stolen about a month before. So I said to myself if this boy comes back in front of my house with my sisters stolen bike I am going to stop him., and he came riding back around in the street and when I saw him a little ways back I started walking towards the street to stop infront of him. My body was field with adrenaline and I was not about to let him keep riding on my sisters stolen bike. I don't think so! So I said excuse me, but where did you get this bike from and he told me that he got it from  another guy so I told him that it was my sisters bike and it was stolen and then I said you have to get off.   He flipped his top shirt open and said 'I don't want any trouble' yes he showed me his gun in his pants and I said there is no trouble, you are on a pink 10speed bike that doesn't belong to you. I said 'I don't want to make trouble either, but you need to get off this bike and if your friend comes back with you to claim this bike then we can talk. As this is going on the police pulled up right behind me. So as soon as the guy on my sisters bike realized that the police was behind me he got off of the bike and tried to walk away but the officers stopped him and sure enough he was a drug dealer and had an unregistered weapon on him. One less bad guy off the streets of Chicago. When I look at the 'beat it' video I think of alot of brave or macho people in the world that do the right thing but sometimes don't get a chance to live to tell it. God be with you all. Because he had someone with me that day and I hope he has someone with you.

Like the beginning of HIStory says, he doesn't sing it if he doesn't mean it.  ;)

Quote from: "misha86"
what im thinking is that he it not talking about women in the songs at all...if we replace girls with something else it would probly make alot more sense
I think that in the later songs, like Heaven Can Wait, or You Are My Life he sings about his children... and in Speechless it's about love he feels for God. But I could be wrong.

Souza,
I believe you speak the truth. The more interesting thing about this topic is how few responses you have gotten to it. The truth is always staring them in the face, but yet they choose to ignore it. I hate to say it, but most of the posters here are here on some fantasy kick hoping Michael will come back and everything will be as it was again, which it can never be. They want Michael to "save" them and in that line of thinking lies the inherent problem. The public ARE Michael's opposition and I honestly and truly believe THAT is what is the primary cause behind him having to go into hiding.

The public is OUT OF CONTROL AND NEEDS TO CHANGE!

Like he said in a song once long ago...

"Make that CHANGE."

A video series will be coming soon from me to address this in more detail.

Great observations! Too bad nobody else can see it.

What a girl this must have been, that his love for her lasted so many years, through two of his marriages...???
Maybe he escaped the world to be with her???
I hope, he is happy...  :?

sorry i forgot to mention that they first met in 1986 when he was recovering from a minor surgery in a spa in marbella,
this girl was given lyrics to 11 songs that he had written for her, some of the songs are ones that you claim were written for his children, when in actual fact these songs were penned many years before the children were born

Like in Remember the time when he refers somewhere in the song to Spain???

But I loved it, cause it's Dangerous

I've always thought this part, and a couple of other lines was inspired by the movie The Bandwagon (starring Fred Astaire). I remember when it (Dangerous) came out, it had a couple of lines directly from the film, at the part that's called the Girl Hunt Ballet. ("She came at me in sections", "she was bad", "she was dangerous", etc.)  It's already said that the Smooth Criminal video was inspired by this very film as well.

Interesting to see the part about a girl in Spain, though.
