Love was taken from a young lifeAnd no one told her whyHer direction has a dimlight From one more violent crimeShe innocently questioned whyWhy her father had to dieShe asked the men in blue How is it that you get to chooseWho will live and who will die Did god say that you could decide ?You saw he didn't run And that my daddy had no gunIn the middle of a village Way in a distant landLies a poor boy with his broken toy Too young to understandHe's awaken, ground is shakinHis father grabs his handScreaming, crying, his wife's dyingNow he's left to explainHe innocently questioned why Why his mother had to dieWhat did these soldiers come here for ? If they're for peace, why is there war ? Did God say that they could decide Who will live and who will die ?All my mama ever did Was try to take care of her kidsWe're innocently standing by Watching people lose their livesIt seems as if we have no voice It's time for us to make a choiceOnly god could decide Who will live and who will dieThere's nothing that can't be done If we raise our voice as oneThey've gotta hear it from meThey've gotta hear it from youThey've gotta hear it from usWe can't take itWe've already had enoughThey've gotta hear it from meThey've gotta hear it from youThey've gotta hear it from us We can't take itWe've already had enoughThey've gotta hear it from meThey've gotta hear it from youThey've gotta hear it from you babyWe can't take itWe've already had enoughDeep in my soul babyDeep in your soul and let God decideDeep in my soulIt's up to me and i'm still aliveThey've gotta hear it from usWe can't take itWe've already had enoughIt's going down babyJust let God decide, It's going on babyJust let God decideDeep in my soul babyWe've already had enoughThey've gotta hear it from meThey've gotta hear it from you They've gotta hear it from usWe can't, we can'tWe've already had enough
It's very possible. A lot of his lyrics were based on his personal experiences. I also like emotions he puts into singing, and yeah, you can actually feel the pain. Some of his songs make me cry... The line 'there's nothing that can't be done if we raise our voice as one' appeared at the memorial. I think that all the lines that appeared there are clues. As these are from this song, he might have wanted us to look at it and read into the lyrics, which give out a lot.btw I love your sig!
God. i love this song sooo soo much.Especially his scream at the end ...it gives me shivers....it's a deep song.
Quote from: "Le Papillon Bleu"God. i love this song sooo soo much.Especially his scream at the end ...it gives me shivers....it's a deep song.I do too. I can't choose a favorite MJ song or album cause all his tracks are SUPERRR. It's like choosing a favorite child, its just impossible. But We've Had Enough is definitely one of my favorite songs ever!It portrays the suffering in this world in such a powerful way. You can almost feel the pain of the little boy that loses his mother in this song.
