Oh I'm so sorry you can't see the shows. If you can't see them through the Hulu link given earlier, here is a link to an article that tells you what you may be able to do to view US shows in other countries. It appears you may need a certain type of software, but it may be worth a try!

I wish everyone could see the shows!  They will be in Los Angeles next Sunday on "Skid Row" which is where the largest population of homeless individuals live in America. And you could say that Los Angeles is Michael's second hometown! ;)

I find it interesting that out of the first four cities in the series already two of them are related to Michael! ;)  Something that makes me go hummmmmm.

Stay blessed!

Okay, this past Sunday, which was the third Secret Millionaire show, the millionaire went to in Gary, Indiana and gave his million away there. We all know that Gary is Michael's hometown.

This coming Sunday, which will be the fourth Secret Millionaire show, the millionaire will be in Los Angeles to give away the million. Los Angeles is Michael's second home town because in the summer of 1969 Michael, Jermaine and Jackie stayed at Suzanne de Passe's home off Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles while they recorded "I Want You Back" and a couple of other songs. Then later in 1970 Joseph moved the family from Gary to Los Angeles. They first moved into a two-story house at 1616 Queens Road in Los Angeles. The family later moved in 1971 to a gated mansion they called "Hayvenhurst", which we know as the "Encino Compound" which is in Encino, CA. Now the city of Encino could be considered a suburb of Los Angeles because it is in the County of Los Angeles.

I read an article somewhere that said it was at the Los Angeles Forum (an indoor arena in Inglewood, California, a suburb of Los Angeles) where the Jackson's held their first concert. In Michael's Opus book there are pictures of Michael taken around Los Angeles and at his Encino home in the early 70's. There is a picture of him at the famous Pink's hotdog stand in Los Angeles, shopping for shoes in an LA shoe store, on top of LA buildings and more (I love that book!). So LA is Michael's second hometown!

So why did I say I think it's interesting that two out of the first four cities of the show are related to Michael? Well I did a little research and the most recent information I could find said that in 2000 there were 19,355 cities in the United States. So what are the odds that a show totally unrelated to Michael Jackson spotlights, within the first 4 shows, the two cities where Michael lived(s)? I mean they had 19,353 other cities to chose from. Something that makes me go hummmmmm. Maybe this is where those who are into the numbers things can comment! Just a thought!

Blessings to you all!

You are very welcome, it was my pleasure! :P

There is a posting on this site about an article concerning Michael being the 2nd highest money maker in the US in 2010, 2nd only to Oprah. I've always felt from the very beginning when I realized that this was a hoax, that Michael would give away some, if not a lot of the money he made during his absence because he has always given money to charities! That's why he holds the Gunniees record for charitable donations.

So a show like the Secret Millionaire is a great way for Michael to give away secretly some of the money he has made since his absence, before he even returns. Michael is a smart cookie, and I think this is one way to answer the critics   who are going to come at him full force when he returns about the money his estate made while he was supposedly dead!

Michael's newly released song playing in the commercial ads for the show and his two hometowns being recipients in the very beginning seals it for me! I'm convinced that Michael has something to do with the Secret Millionaire!  ;)

You know someone said on this site that we shouldn't contribute every thing that comes along to Michael, but in this case, I think that some things are just plain obvious. And I think that's what this site is all about, getting us to look at things more closely!

Stay blessed!

Hi everyone, I found out why those of you who live outside the US cannot watch the shows. There is a site called “ShareTV” that has a note on its site that says:

NOTE: Due to copyright restrictions set by the networks videos are currently only available to U.S. visitors. If it were up to us we would of course make the episodes available to everyone. -- ShareTV Team

So that answers your question as to why you cannot see the shows.

I also found out that the Secret Millionaire, which is based on a British show of the same name first aired here in the US on the FOX Channel in 2008 and they only did 5 shows and it was canceled.

The show that aired this past Sunday (3/27) in LA’s “Skid Row” was actually filmed last April 2010.  The millionaire gave $25,000 to “3 on 3 Street Ball League” a mentorship program that works to get people off the streets an into a more productive life. One of the young men showed the millionaire a mural painted of the area on what looked like a concrete wall that had been defaced with spray paint, so he committed to restoring the wall.

He also gave $25,000 and 200 sleeping bags to a young man who with his own funds put together toiletry bags and passed them out on Skid Row along with clothing. One thing he did while there with the millionaire tugged on my heart. There was an older man on a walker who had old shoes that had feces on them.  He asked the man what size shoes he wore and he said a size 8 and the young man took his sport shoes off (which looked to be new) and gave them to the man. The man was totally shocked and thrilled! The millionaire was blown away!

Last he gave $45,000 to a lady who turned her 5-bedroom house into a home for homeless mothers with teenage as well as small children. The house is called “Alexandria House.” It appears that homeless women have difficulty finding shelter if they have teenage children. And he also gave her $5,000 to divide among the 9 ladies that were staying there and 10 new computers.

After the show, the ABC 11p.m. news in LA did an update to show how the money was used that was given to the Alexandria House.  The lady who started the home said it kept the doors open in a bad economy.  The 10 new computers he gave them were placed in the teen center. One family was able to move out with the money he gave to be split among the 9 ladies. One of the ladies now works at the home as an employee.  The owner of the home is still talking to the millionaire that gave the money, and he says he may give more. She ended her interview for the news by saying, “We all can be heroes by doing a little bit more.”

It appears there are only two more shows to air. It seems the ratings have continued to decline since the first show on 3/6.  Here are all of the episodes.

Episodes: Secret Millionaire - 11 total Episodes
ABC
4/10/2011: Ali Brown: Venice, CA, Season 2, Episode 6, the season finale
4/3/2011: Gary & Diane Heavin: Houston, TX, Season 2, Episode 5
3/27/2011: John Ferber: Skid Row, Los Angeles, CA, Season 2, Episode 4
3/20/2011: James Malinchak: Gary, IN, Season 2, Episode 3
3/13/2011: Marc Paskin: Detroit, MI, Season 2, Episode 2
3/6/2011: Dani Johnson: Knoxville, TN, Season 2, Episode 1
 FOX
12/18/2008: Secret Millionaire, Las Vegas. Season 1, Episode 5
12/17/2008: Secret Millionaire, Schuylkill County, Pa., Season 1, Episode 4
12/11/2008: Secret Millionaire, San Francisco's Tenderloin district, Season, Episode 3
12/10/2008: Secret Millionaire, Watts section of Los Angeles, Season 1, Episode 2
12/3/2008: Secret Millionaire, Louisiana, Season 1, Episode 1

It is sad that the show may not be back after the next two episodes.
Blessings to you all!

Hi all,

Here is an update for the show that aired tonight.

A husband and wife team went to Houston Texas and they gave away the largest amount of money of all the shows so far. $100,000 to the Lazarus Home for people who are living with HIV. $250,000 to Sean Ashley House, a day rehabilitation program for children with autism. The Sean Ashley House really pulled at the couple's heart strings because they have a grandchild who has autism. $50,000 to No More Victims a mentoring program for children. They also gave $20,000 to a young man who was a volunteer there, and who was putting himself through college.

Next week the millionaire will be in Venice, CA. and supposedly that will be the last show.

Stay Blessed!

Hi Everyone, here is the update on the last Secret Millionaire show.

The millionaire spent the week in Venice, CA which is in the county of Los Angeles. She volunteered at four organizations. It was very interesting that this last episode is the one with the sunflower on the tissue box. It was at the end when the millionaire gave the money to the last agency and it sat in view on the shelf just above the millionaire's right shoulder as she spoke. :P

Bread and Roses is an organization that serves the homeless. The homeless make table reservations and they dine on great meals restaurant style rather than soup kitchen style. One of the dishes that was served up was a shrimp dish, which I am sure was a special treat for the patron that order it.  She gave the organization $10,000 which they used to do renovations in the restaurant.

Common Ground is an organization that offers counseling, food, medical/dental services and more to needy youths. She gave them $30,000 which they used to increase their services by 40%.

Beauty Bus Foundation is an organization that uses volunteers to take various beauty services to the home of chronically and terminally ill individuals and their caregivers. She gave $10,000 to them which they used to hire their first employee.

Harvest Home is an organization that support homeless unwed mothers who have nowhere to go. The home has room to house 8 women. In order to stay at the home the women have to enroll in their education program. She gave $50,000 to them which they used to help three of the women move into their own apartments, some for assisting the women with their college education (one will be graduating soon), buying new refrigerators and they bought one of the women a car to help her get to school.

It's sad that this is the last show as Home Makeover will be back next Sunday. The local news called this show the season finale so hopefully that means they will be back next season! But to all those who were involved with this show I say may God bless them royally for a job well done :!:

Blessings to you all :!:
