I dont understand what is meant by the part which ive highlighted in bold, i dont understand. do you mean he will be there backstage in spirit? through a physcic? or do you mean he will be there getting physical support from his family?

I think it was meant that he gets psychological support from his family like " Come on, I know you can do it, it will all be ok"  or something like that ( this was just an example )
