When you click on the link you gave us for C. Mecca, you get this special message to click-on written in 2001 for the Madison Square Garden concert.

It's interesting to apply the message to This Is It. I'm fascinated by the somewhat cosmic tone of this essay.

From C. Mecca's website:

Mecca's Message for September 2001

Setting The Stage

It has been years since the master released new manifestations and the inhabitants of the planet are waiting with eager anticipation for the release of his new album and his first universal presentation of the millennium. During the interim, like the master, we have engaged in an interlude patiently waiting the innovative creativity and message of his talent. In the presentation, there are three primary stages: Introduction (pre-climax), manifestation (climax), and summary of the theme or closing (anti-climax).

The introduction creates the proper atmosphere and sets the stage for the audience. It is a prelude to the central theme of the performance. It will be dynamic as its main focus is to set the stage in preparation of the performance. In those first opening moments, the performer's focus is to capture and hold the attention of his audience by giving them a glimpse of his creativity, standard of execution, and prepare for the entrance of the theme. The main part of the performance discloses and unravels a specific theme. When it reaches the height of the presentation, the artistry has peaked to a climax. This takes place when the plot reaches its pinnacle. Due to the intensity of the performance, the performer is going to give the audience an anticlimax. It will present the message or points of interest the performer wishes to leave with his audience. The anti-climax can be either dynamic to excite or subtle to quiet the emotions of the audience. Whatever it will be, it is done with the purpose of leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

The world knows that Mr. Jackson is the consummate entertainer and there isn't a question that he will present a masterful concert that will definitely excite, thrill and leave his audience in a state of euphoria as he honors the world when he gives his initial live performance in America in eleven years at Madison Square Garden in New York. Anyone who has seen his short films, listened and watched the diversity of his artistic endeavors knows that the world is going to be unquestionably overwhelmed for weeks. The audience is going to be in a state of rapture and awe. They are going to pinch themselves, ask and wonder what they have been privileged to see is real and is truly happening. After such a prestigious production, they know one thing for certain: Their lives have been changed forever and they are not clearly confident they can ascertain why as they were caught up in the moment with the whole immensity of the experience. The master will give considerable thought to the introduction as it will set the mood for his performance.

Knowing and understanding that this is going to be one amazing performance and exciting event by an individual who surpasses any previous standard in the entertainment industry, we would like to share some information that will bring clarity in assisting you to receive the maximum pleasure to interpret the teachings of the master.

The Tripod

Everything that composes our earthly existence contains elements of stages of three. Some examples would be:
(1) Past, present and future;
(2) The universe - space, interstellar system, and our physical planet;
(3) Earth, wind and fire;
(4) Life - birth, time experiencing earthly journey and death, the final stage; and
(5) The manifestations of the performer - gift of creativity, manifestation, and presentations.

The audience's participation in receiving the maximum gift of the performer is also three-fold:
(1) The Preparation: Activities prior to witnessing, viewing or listening to his revelation;
(2) The Performance: Capturing and learning of the purpose of his presentation; and
(3) The Evaluation: How the performance was executed and presented the predominant theme.

The Spectator

In having the privilege and the opportunity to witness the epitome of talent, execution and message of a master in a composite of a performer of the magnitude of Mr. Jackson, both the subject and his audience have to prepare themselves to capture the awesome event. An individual who has ever had to present his gifts to members of the planet can readily imagine the creativity, planning, practicing and correlation that must take place in such presentations. The world knows that it is about to see and hear an inspiring and, without question, wondrous event. Like the performer, the members of the audience have to make adequate preparation to ensure getting the maximum enjoyment and understanding of the artistic endeavors of Mr. Jackson's thirty-eight years in the entertainment industry. Every movement, every selection of the music with every instrumental and lyrical expression will unfold to give power and insight to the theme and universal message.

In describing and assisting the reader to receive the maximum instinctive enjoyment, understanding for the spectators, the chronicle, "Michael Jackson American Master", describes such preparation by the following descriptions for such a momentous occasion as the audience will witness on the anniversary celebration, "The Solo Years" at Madison Square Gardens on September 7 and 10, 2001:

"A master brings the total sum of his experience, knowledge and training to his audience when he feels that the timing and expertise is in harmony with the message which he wishes to convey. The segment that is going to receive the gift of the master has to be ready, willing and able to receive his offering.

"In the case of Michael, the excitement of the fans begins years prior to the performance. They have purchased his music and they dream of having the opportunity to see him perform live. For many, simply being able to be in his presence would be fulfilling a fantasy."

"They resolve the conflict of his schedule of appearances versus their own obligations. The most difficult task is being able to purchase tickets. The question in their minds is if they are going to get a glimpse of, or even identify, the small figure on stage."

The Performance

"We are becoming more aware of the reality of the situation when we see members of the performer's entourage. The moment that we have been waiting for is just about ready to begin. When the suspense is at its pinnacle, the mouth is dry, and the stomach is tied up in knots, the performance of our lifetime is becoming a reality. The dreams, the hopes, the desires, are going to happen in a minute, a second...now!"

" 'We have something we want to tell you. The opening was so dramatic and bright and captured the whole feeling of the show.' Each song keeps building toward the last number of the evening, both for the performer and the audience."

The Evaluation

"...Were these people expressing an act of love toward their idol? Whatever it is Michael is exerting an enormous influence over countless lives. While he may be leading to a climax in ending his performance, the audience is experiencing an anti-climax. In a period of approximately two hours, it's all over and the ride home is in direct contrast to the performance...It's rather quiet and pensive as we try to grasp the significance of that very special evening and a live encounter with the megastar."

"The true significance of the concert will depend on how much thought we're willing to give the occasion. The influence of the evening will be determined in a direct ratio to the kind and amount of thought one wishes to give it and how much one is willing to value the experience. To some people, it may be simply an attainment of a dream. It might be the enjoyment and the artistry. To others, it might change the rest of their lives."

The Aspiration

It is the fundamental aspiration, aim and purpose of the CAM Publishing Team to convey the cardinal, inherent and intrinsic characteristics of Mr. Jackson to the awareness of humanity. The performance of the master is to assist the populace in motivating each life to make the most of his life experience and develop the qualities of the master, then to manifest them in an individual manner by offering their services for the betterment of mankind and the planet.

After the initial appearance of the master in the United States, following an eleven-year interlude, there will be much discussion as his admirers and critics evaluate his manifestation. We do not want to miss the clue of such a momentous occasion. The pattern in getting the essence of a creation is to first look at the scope of production. Next, determine how the actions and illustrations support the predominant theme. Mr. Jackson enlightens the spectator by a previous comment, "I don't sing it if I don't mean it". While he may present material of a personal nature, it is up to the individual to decipher the universal wisdom in the format of his presentation. "Michael gives a lot of advice through the medium of song and dance…He sings on issues that he feels are contemporary and he sings about how we can improve our inner selves. Michael's theme is about beauty, caring and healing. The master definitely speaks through his music."

It is the desire of CAM Publishing, after the peak of our emotions subside, that you will email or write us on your interpretation of the theme of Mr. Jackson's performance and the manner that you envision how his intuitive and creative nature will enhance your own life. We know that you, like us, are waiting with much anticipation for the message of the millennium from the master! We are looking forward with pleasure in meeting many of you when we witness the transformation from the interlude to the present creativity and artistry to capture the history of Mr. Jackson's "The Solo Years" at Madison Square Gardens and give us a glimpse on the effect it will have on his future creativity. Our team can hardly wait to hear the next phase of his genius as he spans the past and present history, as he defies time and space in emerging from an interlude. He will reconstruct the past history, remold and shape our present wounded contemporary world, and offer solutions as he guides humanity into a brilliant and shining pathway straight into a promising future. In using the medium of his awesome talent, Michael is looking into the mirror of the world and sees the reflection of the inhabitants of the planet. He is the prime prototype for humanity to take a good look at itself and be willing to make a change. Michael's message illustrates the sublime power of love as being the primary active ingredient in solving our own personal dilemmas and, perhaps, on a large global scale, in passing that same love we receive from his profound teaching to others, we will be ready to join Michael in healing the issues the present generation will be facing in the millennium and "Make it a better place for you, for me, and the entire human race"!

Last but not least. I really loved this part. This presentation made me think of the great adventure we are living just now. It really correspond to This is it.

Yes, I agree.  There is a profoundly eerie similarity to the whole This Is It scenario.  You could replace the words "concert at Madison Square Garden" with "the Bams-day comeback" and it would have the same meaning. The message to the fans is the same.  The message in his music is the same. He is still the "Master" and doing what he has always done....blowing  people away with his talent.  Be ready everybody!!!

"Mecca" is the holiest meeting place for the Islamic religion.

Is this a Muslim reference?  Hmm.. might be.
