Jacksons had a history of using a "dummy"?!
January 30, 2010, 10:41:03 PM
I know this isn't related to the Jacksons (show). However I just found this photo and explanation, which has me wondering..."if the "brothers" were either responsible for and/or okay with the use of a "dummy" of Michael (see below), then what does that say about the LENGTHS they would go to, to give MJ's fans the illusion of Michael being "with us", when he's NOT and of him NOT being with us, when he IS ?!

Quote...."Torture video....his brothers used a dummy when Mike didn't show!"

I have a feeling that in this setting, the dummy was used possibly at the END of their performances (with the stage either going DARK or Smoke,etc)....so that MJ, could EXIT early, and without problems (ie...swarming fans).

I said THAT, to say THIS.... if THIS has been the NORM all these years...then who's to say that the Ambulance MJ, wasn't, in fact, a "dummy".

JUST AN OBSERVATION.....

Omigosh! Thats a dummy?

Then perhaps anything is possible for the Jack5ons......Then perhaps they are using MJ's mysterious death to rebuild their career.....Ya know, kinda exploiting it.......If thats a dummy then anything is fairly pssible...I'm back to 50-50% regarding the hoax

They ALL look "real" to me. (There's NO WAY, the dummy is "Michael" though) :D

It was well documented in 1984 that they used a dummy in place of Michael when they were recording the Torture video - MJ was not available to do the video shoot so they had  no choice but to use a model.

My thing is...why go through ALL that, just to try to "fool" people?
I don't understand, why, it would even be necessary... Just reschedule the shoot!

I'm guessing it would take MORE planning and energy to try to imcorporate this "dummy", than to just shoot the video, when MJ is available.

It just doesn't "sit right with me" (the whole "concept"....not the dummy) :D

Think about it.  How could he NOT BE AVAILABLE for a video shoot?  Are we to believe that it was last minute, he didn't SHOW, and coincidently....they HAPPEN TO HAVE HAD a fully dressed and ready to go, mannequin, available.   ?!

Unless this was some kind of "test" drive to see if they could get away with dummies/imposters/etc...and if so, come up with more "elaborate" ways of having Michael in places, when the need arises.   ?!

Hmmm....

@ MSMJFANFOREVER - I didn't know it was your capton! I hope you don't mind I posted it?? A good one, by the way!

I didn't know about the dummy thing during "Torture"! I always wondered why was Mike kinda stiff in that vid... LOL!
I'm sure they'd like to take this dummy on tour this time, too, if they only could! LOL

LOL...no problem, I see my "captions" on other sites, as well.  I do it too.  Just as long as others aren't taking credit for them, it's ALL GOOD! :D  Thanks...

Don't know the reason why but they did use a model - seems stupid to me but they probably thought with Mike there in some form, they would sell more records and get a better response to the video.
