I can't listen to this song regardless of who sings it I'm afraid.

My late father (who passed away 4 years ago) was a huge Nat King Cole fan and Smile was his favourite song.  We played it at his funeral so now when I hear it, I just crumble

I love this song when michael sings it but it sure does make me cry too  :cry: I usually listen to "workin' day and night" when I need to cheer up. It doesn't have the same message but It's upbeat and makes you wanna dance!!

Oh don't feel bad honey    I'm OK really.  Songs have different meanings for people.  It IS a beautiful song but I can't listen to it.  When Jermaine sang it at the memorial (which was before I started to suspect a hoax) I had to leave the room.
