They took the version of the song, that is Michael usually uses for his shows - was always playback.
It's exactly the same, only shorter at the Grammy's.

The "body" above the stage is actually a screen for the audience.
Take the pic from the original post and light it up a little bit, maybe a little contrast - you'll see the form and that it looks nothing like a person.
The screen can also be seen on a pic of Eminem's performance.

I don't see gold pants or anything but I do see something moving up there.
And whatever it is, it looks like they're wearing something white and rocking back and forth. Oh, and the fact that the singers take a look up there should tell us something. I am not saying it's Michael, but hey, anything is possible.

I agree 100%! There's someone there. You can see it when you pause the video. Pause and watch and pause again. You can see he moves his arm. But of course I can not be sure if that's MJ or not.

I thought this had been debunked.  At first I thought I saw a shadowy figure but someone posted that it was actually a screen showing the audience what the TV viewers could see and, on reviewing the pic, I could see the screen.

I watched the video and somebody is up there and the lyrics to me changed to what if i lived again, now what is going on in the forum when someone finds something and is brave enough to share it with us we shouldn't shoot it down without looking at it first, Truth your acting very immature if someone doesn't think the idea is right move on it was pretty sad reading what you said to her and shouldn't be tolerated

I see people are getting very excited here but please everyone be honest to yourselves, ok! I hope you're not seeing something/someone because you want to see it so badly and I'm not bashing anyone just trying to remind everyone to stay objective.

Personally I don't see anything and I can't hear a change in the lyrics either. I think someone on another thread did a proper comparison between the original Earth song and the one at the Grammy's and founnd no difference, except from it being shortened. I too wish all this was true but I'm trying to not see what I want to see.

My question is, why on earth would MIchael be there performing?! Doesn't make any sense what so ever  :? I'm not saying that I know what he would or wouldn't do but does anyone have a theory of why he'd even be there? cuz I can't think of anything... However, keep looking!!

I'm sure there are some folks whom do wish to grab onto any bit of news for hope.  However, in this case I believe that what we really want to know is who is the image or what is it.

Some folks stated that it was a "screen" that is provided so that the audience can view the event. I am not familiar with event proceedings, so I cannot comment on that topic.

However, as I previously stated, I felt I viewed one single individual in that video as opposed to a screen shot.

I think the only thing that will resolve the matter is to have someone provide a very clear & concise view of the image.

Irregardless, kudos should & have gone out to the individual that has brought this image to our attention.

Now,,,I watched this part of the Grammys again and frankly I really dont even see that this "figure" up in the rafters is even a person and I didnt see any tapping of the foot in time with the music.
Im more interested in Mr Magoo.

Well I watched the grammy video several times, paused, stopped, zoomed the photo and I can't even see someone, sorry, no white t-shirt  neither :?  The camera goes too fast. But thanks for sharing your thoughts.

For the lyrics too I listenend again and again and can't hear "what if I live again" I hear "what about death again". I just noticed there is something weird when he says "What about yesterday" try to listen again it's not as usual. Anyway I prefer to focus on the man in disguise which is a more plausible possible clue to me. Paris was wearing a (beautiful) shirt which looks like Michael in Ghost. To me it can be a hint because when you think about Ghost you think Michael in disguise as an old man (DS)....and there is an old man in the grammy's audience which really seems to be disguised...
