yeah or a tech guy for lighting (even though we know Michael liked heights   ) it's just the fact that why would they pick this particular person to go to when Prince says "we love you daddy", especially since we have no clue who this person is if not Michael, and considering they had been showing people like Will.I.Am, Beyonce and Quincy Jones, they could have gone to someone in the crowd who we might have reckognized?

Yeah most of the time when someone wins an award they will pan the camera to someone that is a family member,friend,spouse,or someone who helped work on the project.  So if I had to pick I would say the old guy in the audience.  What if that was their grandpa on Debbie Rowes side.  Just a possible suggestion but that dude did look kind of suspect though I must say.
