Michael Jackson did all performances himself in TII.
The only thing that I suspect is that they used some old footage of Michael.
Also in the begining where dancers who made it, are talking about MJ in present time with tears on their eyes, I think it was shoot after he died because you can see those tears are not tears of happiness , they are tears of grieve.

The guy sliding down the bannister was a stunt-double, that is fact.  IMHO there were no other doubles in TII - it was all Michael.

what bugs me is that TII never mention Michael's death, would be appropiate to put something like 1958-2009 with his song  "gone too soon " in the background at the end of the movie.

Guy in the red pants and smooth criminal is Michael himself. I watched TII so many times, in theaters and I watched and keep watching in my house Blu-Ray DVD on 60" HDTV. He's amazing!!!

That is so true.. I mean, if you dont know that Michael is '''dead'' and you go and watch This is It, Nothing from that movie would have tell you about his dead!! I mean look to the introtext of The movie This Is It:

I was the spring of 2009. at the age of 50, after a decade's absence from the stage, Michael Jackson was quietley performing and crafting an entirely NEW CONCERT EXPRIENCE!
His only audience was a small group of technicians and dancers who watched Michael create a show that would have been his return to the stage.
This film consists of footage captured during the rehearsel period from March through June. It was intended for Michael's personal library and as ORGINAL FILM content FOR THE SHOW.
on June 25th, Michae and his team were eight days from traveling to London to began their final dress rehearsals for an unpressedenet 50 sold out concerts.
With the permission of the Michael Jackson Estate and thanks to a few cameras that caught the magic, here is a glimpse of the passionate gift Michael was preparing for his fans and the AUDIENCES OF THE WORLD!!!!!!! (HIS HOAX??)

when I was watching the Movieintro, Nothing of this information told me that he died on 25th june.
The end of the movie:
Michael Jackson, KING OF POP, Loves live forever!

I also got an impresion that footage with dancers and some rehearsals they were shooting was at first for some kind of Reality Show where dancers competing to be dancers for MJ and then they would go with him on his TII Tour.

The autopsy report must be fake or about someone else because it says he had osteoporosis & arthritis in his legs. If that is the case, he definitely wouldn't be able to dance like he was in This Is It, his legs would not be able to handle it it would hurt him & if he had osteoporosis his bones definitely wouldn't be able to handle it, drugged or not. Trust me I know, my grandma started getting arthritis in her legs when she was 60 & it was hard for her to walk it hurt her. & now she has some osteoporosis & arthritis & can't walk or stand for very long at all. So either the autopsy report is fake or there were doubles in the movie so AEG could make it look like he was healthy & collect their money.

By the way Smooth Criminal on TII was stiched: old movie footage of "Smooth Criminal" from something between 1999-2002 stiched with last years rehearsals of Smooth Criminal @ Staples.
On Sm.Cr. "movie" footage Mike is younger and his features are just like he looked between 1999-2002. Also his voice from rehearsals of Sm.Cr. where he was wearing white fedora and white jacket sounds like when he was little younger. Kenny Ortega just added there 06/2009 rehearsals of Sm.Cr.
But it was ALWAYS Michael, nobody else has his talent or moves like him. He is the KING!!!

I think some people were confused about red pants Michael and golden sparkly pants Michael is because he was wearing oversized and long jacket that visualy made him look shorter.
But it was Michael Jackson, the best musician and singer in the planet and history!!!

In my opinion no Dbls. except stunt ,I have been watching Mj whenever possible ,long before any internet was around . since age 7 . I saw the original airing of The Ed Sullivan show , Sonny & Cher show ,Carol Burnett show . The jackson Variety show ,  Thriller you name it I watched it . The Trial coverage , everything except tabloid Trash . I was not aware of how much some people reviled and ridiculed MJ till I got on the net and U-tube  I say that is MJ based Mostly, on his hands . Can't do Plastic surgery ,on your hands { I guess you could ,but who would?} And Mj had unusually large hands for a man of his stature in my opinion .Its all in the hands .plus I own video of Mj and I have been looking at him and listening to him and admiring him my whole life .I feel special I got to live through his whole life . :D

I agree! I too, have followed him all my life. I was lucky enough to see him live when the Victory tour stopped here. YOU CAN'T CHANGE THOSE HANDS.

On the left is Navy and he is not on TII movie! I watched TII so many time and HE IS NOT THERE.
Or tell me where exactly Navy  is in TII, I will look it up right now.
Not sure about right picture, it could be Michael.
p.s. actually, after looking at the picture on the Right, I'm pretty sure is Michael himself!

I don't think there were doubles because of the hoax, Michael knew he would be gone for a while and that we would miss him a lot so he left us this to hold us over until he returns, his voice was amazing especially in human nature and i cant stop loving you, I think as he got older his voice became better what do you guys think?

You know, I went three times to the "documentary" when it was in the theatres (first time I went to a movie more than once) and I could have sworn it wasn't Michael every take. But, then when I watched my home copy the spots where I thought were a double didn't seem so anymore. I had the feeling that I wasn't seeing the same thing in my home DVD's as I saw in the movie house.  I believe this has been mentioned somewhere before but I wanted to say I had a strange feeling that I was watching a different version of what was in the theatres. Just my opinion.
