What a shocking picture at the first glance! And the text below:

>>THIS is the chilling dress rehearsal carried out nearly 30 years before the main event.<<

 :o  :o      :o  :o  :?  :?

Thank you, Jacksonology!

I wonder if I'll have a nightmare this night again.

By the way, I did further researches about the video game. There should be no screen at the place where we see the "illusion" or no other reflecting surface. It is the back side, the screen should be on the right side like on this example:[attachment=0:4w6wpwbe]arcadeIII.jpg[/attachment:4w6wpwbe]

The next odd thing: I cannot find out which game is shown in the screenshots. There is no label that we can see, only  .OT (both shots) and MJ  (on the 1:05 shot)
I know 2 games with OT:   "f1 exhaust note" by sega (1991, Michael owned one) and "Time Pilot" (1982 -1984, but the design doesn´t match).

And I cannot find Pole Position on the Arcade-List on the Julien's Auctions catalogue.

Maybe Michael never owned it although Dave claims that they were playing Pole Position together?

This leads to the question if the whole picture was shopped later in order to prove a false statement in the interview (which was not the only contradicion, of course)? But  they (Michael himself or CNN? ) added the phantom as a clue for us to see that the proof is no proof but fake??

Maybe  :geek:  and it could have been photoshopped from the same person who did the ambulance picture

Let\'s not forget...

Wow! MJ liked his games. That's quite a number there.  :o    Maybe Pole Position broke and was put out for the trash? Or as Dave Dave liked it so much perhaps it was gifted to Dave Dave? Update: or perhaps the omission of the Pole Position game from the auctioneer catalog is an indication that the Dave Dave on Larry King Live was a fake?

Yeah, that's odd: Why is Pole Position not on the catalogue :?:  :?:
MJ had almost every new funny technical stuff, so why shouldn´t he have this game, too??
I can´t imagine that it broke. And if, he would have repaired it, he was (is, of course) a collector, he would have missed it. And I highly doubt that he gifted it to Dave Dave. Because: see above    They might have been (and be now, of course) huge friends, but not when it comes to video games. I think Michael liked to share his games, but not make them a gift to others. I think he was/is selfish about this.

So maybe he took PolePosition with him into his hiding-place together with his Paul McCartney records?
New song: The game is mine

Immortality's my game

friendlikeme81, "The doggone game is mine". Looking through the catalog and seeing the kind of toys/games there would have been etc, there is no way a young Dave Dave would be enthralled with Paul McCartney records when there were all those gadgets to play with.

Seriously. Why would a sick, frightened little boy know about Paul McCartney and Pole Position? I think DD is a very big clue in the hoax.

IIebreknit, If you go back to the first post on this thread you will see what poster "friendlikeme81" is talking about. The image is within the highlighted box on the arcade machine in the photo. It's very difficult to work out what this image is. It could be nothing important, Photoshopped or a reflection.

Hi liegi!  You are right.
There is a long discussion about that on the youtube comments.
It is highly implausible that DD remembered PaulMcCartney records. This is seen as a modest gesture of Michael and also as a hint, because as you said, nobody believes this.
Also the PolePosition thing: It is sad, but I can´t imagine DD playing this game with his damaged hands. So PolePosition might be a symbol for Michaels ambition to be on the top of the charts.

When we look at DaveDave we see the disguise, when we listen to him we hear Michaels voice, when we care for what he says we notice the contradictions, when we look at the pictures he provides we see little scary phantoms that should not be there. So what else do we need??

Oh s**t, people think I'm hallucinating!! This is a sign, I have to stop this game for a while.

I don't see Orlok, of course, this is just an association!

But I like the musical note: "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror" ...

Oh, but wait, I just hear something, right now ... the Pole Position-melody... is it not the Nosferatu-theme ...??

And all these cute little smileys, it must be evil laughing!!

I DON'T SEE ANYTHING...Where the HELL are you seeing a man with a white hat ?
I cleary only see "eventually" a guy in blakc suit qith a black mask on his face. And I see another thing  but I don't know what it is. If it's a casket, maybe it could be flowers ?

In fact I don't know what we are supposed to see.

PS : damaged hands don't prevent you to do things. I know a man that has no hands, only half arms, and he uses his laptop just like you and me. He also helps us to care with rats, carpooling them across Paris in his wheelchair ;)
