Question about ambulance windows
December 03, 2009, 11:00:02 PM
So i was driving behind a school bus like vehicle today with my headlights on. WHat i noticed is that i could not see inside the dark bus even with my headlights on. there was a big glare. dont ambulances use the same type of windows that are very well tinted and any light shown on it would create a glare.

basically there was no glare on the ambulance photo. too perfect looking like its was propped.

There was glare in the full uncropped ambulance photo, reflections from the flash that was used. You can take a picture through tinted with a flash. The photo was taken...but taken when, and who was really inside is the question. Then there's also the question of photoshopping MJ's face, which is a real possibility too.

I was driving behind 2 ambulance cars 2 days ago, in a different time on a different roads and what I thought was interesting...... the windows on the back on both cars were NOT tinted, on the side yes, there were tinted, but not the back ones! But on MJ's ambulance the back windows were tinted.
Anybody knows anything?

All ambulances are different. Some have tinted windows somewhere, some don't. That's not strange. And I don't believe the back windows were as tinted as the side ones, simply because one of MJ's bodyguards is clearly seen in the ambulance video trying to block the back windows with his hands so that the paps couldn't get pictures there. But even if the tinting was the same on side and back windows, the bodyguard was clearly aware that photos could be taken through them, so he was trying to block them.

How could the photographer get this shot,

1. the angle - MJ head is just seem between the ambalance man's legs
2. the ambalance door windows would not allow this angle, too high up

the picture is sideways from an angle

the shot is not taken in the manner suggested.

very good point. if the windows on the ambulance were at that level then someone in the car next to them would clearly be able to see the patient. i don't know if i have ever seen windows on the side of the ambulance (with the exception of course for the passenger's window)

The ambulance windows were tinted. My brother's car has tinted windows, you can only just see through them and certainly can't get a clear picture through them.
This may not apply to the ambulance windows but I found it strange they managed to get a perfect shot through tinted windows..
