JANET drew inspiration from MJs death for her new movie.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

In Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too?,” Janet Jackson said she drew inspiration from her brother Michael’s death for the movie’s emotional scenes.

“You have to dig deep, but there was some stuff that was right there for me,” Janet said during an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Thursday.

In one scene, Janet’s character unleashes and smashes a table, something she said she was able to do by using her real world pain.

“Stuff that had just happened with my brother passing and also relationships,” she continued. “Experiencing… exactly that.”

As for opening herself up so emotionally and committing to the role, Janet said she threw caution into the wind and put her trust in director and writer Tyler Perry.

“You just have to trust and give it up, just let go and be very, very open,” she told Jay.

Well this is what i thought.  Anyone know the date of this movie?

Didnt the bodyguards mention this movie in their interview?  They said they told MJ that his sister Janet had done a movie and he was like "huh?" because he had no clue..  they called her "little janet" and didnt take much notice of what she was doing, etc...   :?

Ok.. so this is the second part that she talks about in this interview?  The sequel?   So it does fit in the time frame?  She shot these scenes after June 2009?

In part one, she went on a total rampage.  What were her influences for that one is my point.  Michael was very much alive in 2007.  Have you seen the movie? She went totally freakin nuts.

Janet has always been able to play emotional scenes well.  Just go back and watch episodes of Good Times.  She was excellent at crying and being sad when need be.  Even when she was a child actress.  She did emotional scenes in Poetic Justice, even in the Nutty Professor she always has those sad eyes that draw you in when she cries and acts emotional. The first Why did I get married she had to be very emotional as well.  That movie actually came on tv tonight by the way.  I love the dinner scene it cracks me up when their friend spills the beans about all the secrets in the couples marriages that he knows about.  The part when the guy chokes his wife then Jill Scott hits her hubby over the head with a bottle because he's cheating.  I was laughing at that part.
