Ghosts ? The answer ?
April 18, 2010, 11:28:27 AM
I was watching Michael Jacksons Ghosts today and what I found is quite shocking for me.Though I am not sure the skeleton who`s dancing is really him.It was created by using dots in his body that somehow reacted with the light and was connected to the camera and then by using a skeleton they got it moving...confusing ? If the skeleton is him then you have to remember a thing, the autopsy ? an extra rib ? So if I am not day dreaming and if the skeleton in ghosts is really his then he does not have an extra rib and that means the autopsy is false and the body was not his.Because as you see he has 12 on each side and no extra one.....
Give  me your thoughts ? ;)

IMO, the skeleton is a 3D model, so it didn't mean it was his. MJ's movement was used to animate the skeleton, that's why he had all these dots on him, to capture all the movement from muscles. that's how 3D animation works.

It was some page that I read today that he had an extra rib bone, trying to find it.And I also heard some time ago that it was actually his skeleton ..but ...it was heard from the ``source`` again...
lol I guess I am still day dreaming
But anyways it would have been great though  8-)
I did read the autopsy but I have a memory of a 80 year old so ..yeah

I think that in the Making of Ghost (a video on YT) there is a part where the creators of the skeleton said that indeed they created a skeleton that resembles michael's skeleton...

One would have to ask - if they went to the trouble of making a skull like MJ's, why wouldn't they do the rest of his skeletal frame?

If you recall, MJ did have a full body scan at one point. Perhaps much of this was fashioned from those films????

I think that too... But I must confess that compare a Michaels video with the autopsy report never crossed through my mind!  :D

Exactly.

I've tried to explain this numerous times since the autopsy came out but no one wants to listen. The autopsy is NOT referring to an extra rib, people. It is referring to the C7 vertebra.

Quote
C7 or vertebra prominens: The most distinctive characteristic of this vertebra is the existence of a long and prominent spinous process, hence the name vertebra prominens. In some subjects, the seventh cervical vertebra is associated with an abnormal pair of ribs, known as cervical ribs. These ribs are usually small, but may occasionally compress blood vessels (such as the subclavian artery) or nerves in the brachial plexus, causing ischemic muscle pain, numbness, tingling, and weakness in the upper limb.

SIGH.

Anatomy lesson:

Cervical Ribs - The cervical ribs, when they are present, are usually ankylosed by their tubercular processes to the diapophyses of the vertebrae, and by their capitular processes to the parapophyses. With these processes they form a broad loop on either side of each cervical. The tubercular processes extend slightly outward as well as downward from the facets, and in this way increase the total width of the neck. The shafts of the ribs extend backward, practically making right angles with the plane of the capitular and tubercular processes. The shafts, and in fact the entire ribs, are composed of interlocking plates. Near the junction of the shafts and the articular processes the latter are comparatively stout. They are long, and in the few cases in which they are preserved, they extend for considerable distances behind the posterior borders of the centra. They taper rapidly, and at their distal ends are exceedingly slender.

This is good.

Considering 3d animation is so good nowadays. Could parts of TII be computer animation?? I did wonder if Michael was ever green screened in with the dancers. Maybe they use computer animation of him at some interviews or other publicity videos too and that is why there are differences in the features.

I've tried to explain this numerous times since the autopsy came out but no one wants to listen. The autopsy is NOT referring to an extra rib, people. It is referring to the C7 vertebra.

I’ve explained this before as well.

Whether it’s the real deal or not, the Autopsy states:

It does mean, he actually has an extra rib, a.k.a “Cervical Rib” attached to the right side of the 7th vertebra "C7 or Vertebra Prominens" (Put your head as down as you can, like looking to the floor. You're gonna easily touch it in the back side of your neck, because is huge!), where there are no ribs normally.

Extra ribs are in the neck area, just above the first one.

Mostly of people don’t have them, some have just one (e.g this report), some have a pair. And you wont know if you have one or a pair of them till Doctor see them in a X-ray exam of your chest.

You explain this very well in your own post so I’m not sure why do you keep saying “autopsy is NOT referring to an extra rib”. See what you posted:

My bad. By that I meant that they're not talking about an extra rib in the actual ribcage like many people are thinking.
